00:00There will be topics that we disagree on.
00:02I think we'll probably come to a conclusion.
00:04And ultimately, he'll convince me, or I'll convince him, you know, it's for the good of New York.
00:10Ultimately, it's for the good of New York.
00:12I don't care about affiliations or parties or anything else.
00:16I want to see if this city could be unbelievable, if he could be a spectacular success, I'd be very happy.
00:22Do you think you guys will meet more in the future, too?
00:24Do you think you'll meet again in the future, you know, throughout the administration?
00:26I think we will. I hope we do.
00:29I enjoyed the meeting. We had a great meeting. Please.
00:31Mr. President, Republican Elise Stefanik has campaigned multiple times by calling Zora Mamdani a jihadist.
00:37Do you think you're standing next to a jihadist right now in the Oval Office?
00:40No, I don't. But she's out there campaigning.
00:43And, you know, you say things sometimes in a campaign.
00:48Isn't that sort of divisive?
00:49She's a very capable person.
00:51Isn't that kind of leading?
00:52You really have to ask her about that.
00:54But I don't particularly I think I met with a very I met with a man who is a very rational person.
01:00I met with a man who wants to see really wants to see New York be great again.
01:04And I can say again, because New York was great.
01:07You know, when I came down to Washington initially, the city was so hot.
01:12It was doing great.
01:13And we were having some telltale signs of problems.
01:17We had a mayor that was not doing a great job.
01:20But still, it was moving along.
01:23And it went bad.
01:26It really went, you know, pretty bad.
01:28And he can I think it's been at lower points, but it went pretty bad.
01:33I think he can bring it back.
01:34Now, the question is, will he bring it back all the way?
01:36Will he bring it back greater than ever before, which is I guarantee that's his wish.
01:41I think he wants to make it greater than ever before.
01:44And if he can, we'll be out there cheering.
01:47I'll be cheering for him.
01:48OK, thank you very much, everybody.
