'Yellowstone' has set the premiere date for its final episodes as well as announcing new spinoffs! The second half of 'Yellowstone's' fifth season which will close out the current Dutton family saga is set to premiere in November 2024. The final episodes were originally slated for late this year, but the writers and actors strikes meant an end to production. Elsewhere two spinoffs are in the works.

00:06Yellowstone has set the premiere date for its final episodes, as well as announcing new spinoffs.

00:11The second half of Yellowstone's fifth season, which will close out the current Dutton family saga,

00:15is set to premiere in November of 2024. The final episodes were originally slated for late this year,

00:22but the writers and actors' strikes meant an end to production.

00:25Elsewhere, two spinoffs are in the works.

00:27The first is a present-day story with a working title of 2024, and will air after the main series finishes.

00:33It's expected to continue exploring the Dutton family dynasty, with new characters and locations,

00:39as well as some existing characters.

00:41The other is another prequel, 1944, that will follow in the footsteps of 1883 and 1923.

00:47However, details on that series is scarce at the moment.

00:50Taylor Sheridan, who co-created Yellowstone with John Linson and is the showrunner for the franchise,

00:55told The Hollywood Reporter in a June cover story that he had several prequel ideas brewing,

01:00though 1944 is the first to get a green light.
