00:15spoke to Gadd during his recent trip to Los Angeles, he revealed,

00:19On the flight over here to LA, the captain came back because he had heard I was on the plane.

00:23He spoke to me and then the other pilot came back too, so that was quite surreal.

00:27I still don't think of myself as famous. He went on to share another anecdote that also illustrates

00:31how the show has changed his life, saying,

00:34I went to see the Pogues the other day and I went into a pub beforehand,

00:37naively thinking that I could just go in and sit down with some friends.

00:41But it was bedlam. It was chaos. People coming up all the time, all the time,

00:45sharing stories and talking about the show and how it affected them.

00:49According to Gadd, the experience made him realize that he can't go to pubs anymore and

00:52quote, expect to sit there quietly in a corner and have some food.

00:55As for all the speculation around the real-life people who inspired the characters in the show

01:00and those claiming to be them, Gadd said,

01:02I've spoken publicly about how I don't want people to speculate,

01:05and if I start playing a game of whack-a-mole, then I'm almost adding to it.

01:09I don't think I'll ever comment on it ever again.
