00:27four days i was quite thrown back at that you mentioned blue balls what happens if you're not

00:32in a couple but you've got the urge what happens mate there's a toilet upstairs and one downstairs

00:38it's all kicking off in the villa but first let's get you unpacked the villa recap

00:44previously on love island australia mia cranked the flirt dial up to 100 with mick sharon fully

00:53spiraled over ross saying he was open and decided fine she's open too straight into the arms of

00:59bombshell alex kai and yana's x-files reopened all built up tension and are we really doing this again

01:06while gabby tried to trust jot them after his wouldn't date you on the outside chat and maybe

01:12noticed how good alex was looking in the meantime then the bombs landed properly boston mia and alex

01:19snogged half of the villa in the big lick energy challenge yana was crowned kissing queen and the

01:25og girls declared emotional war on the newbies in a full mean girls versus bombshells meltdown

01:32at recoupling boston stole ross mia stole mick alex stole sarn and tamara and mateo finally became an

01:40official couple by the time the heart rate stripper challenge hit kai and yana were back on ross was

01:46stuck in a big love triangle gabby was accusing jotham of gaslighting and mick had three girls pulses

01:52racing the hot seat all right amongst a sea of icons we are joined by two of the most iconic islanders

02:00of this season it's only yana and mick welcome guys

02:03thank you uh got mick now is joining us on the screen you look gorgeous what's that little thing

02:12on your face uh just covering off some acne mate i'm 27 and i'm still going through it

02:17you're lucky you never ends you're lucky you're not 28 or sean would have given you a bollock it

02:21oh we don't listen to sean anyway too much hey it's lovely to have you both i've 10 000 questions that i'm

02:28sure people uh would love to hear the answer to first off though very quickly is it true you were

02:33mistaken for a male prostitute at your audition i just uh i just snot rocketed out of my mouth when

02:40you said that um that is actually very true and oh mate i was shaking it was um yeah it's a funny story

02:47let's jump in with the most recent action um because the internet had a million hot takes on

02:53the isabel gabby tamara against mia situation yana's there she's trying to keep the peace

02:59first off mick what did you see that made you want to lob that grenade what was going on in the back

03:06i think like what we kind of don't see so much of is is is boston um essentially coming to me a few

03:13times and being like mate i feel like you know really not included here so far like came to dinner

03:19time and she was she was crying and i'm like what's going on here like you've just got in here

03:22she was actually crying most of it yeah full full in tears and i was like mate like you know you've

03:27come on as a bombshell here you gotta you gotta make an impact it's your job to come in and shake

03:31the thing up and i understand that people probably don't like you when you come in i think that

03:35happened to me i can't remember what happened to gabby mainly because i wasn't watching until i got in

03:40the villa but um no i think um it's just it's just kind of part of it and like you want to come in

03:46as a bomb you're gonna you're gonna have people against you and you got to kind of embrace it but

03:49for me i felt that early when i came in so i just wanted boston to kind of feel you know um like i

03:56had her back and she could be comfortable in that villa and be herself so that's what i tried to do

04:01and i think yeah obviously stirred the plot a bit but i knew what i was doing too so well that's a

04:05question because boston herself said you weren't really advocating for us you just wanted to stir

04:10a bit of shit defend yourself look look i like stirring shit no doubt but i think um no my pure

04:17intention was to help boston there and well not so much help her but just voice what i think she

04:21was thinking and and saying to me but probably not communicating with the girls so i just took it in

04:25my own uh under my own wing to do it and yeah i think it created a bit of a divide that night but

04:30i think we solved it quicker and if you look at the the next episode following the girls are a lot

04:34closer already so you can say what you want but um sometimes a bit of direct confrontation gets you to

04:39a quicker result so i think men are good at handling that sometimes in the sense of like you know when

04:44there's conflict and stuff we kind of resolve it pretty quickly but women um sometimes especially

04:49in the villa can be a bit tense and um you know you're around each other all day so it can be a

04:54little bit more challenging i feel like with them no no offense but i think men just solve things a

04:58bit quicker and get through it so um yeah just got in the way and did what i had to do you did what

05:04you had to do yeah and everybody was loving that you stood up for mia um what was it like in the

05:10moment was it as tense as it felt watching it back um it was definitely very tense um it actually

05:17brought me to tears um really we didn't see that you were crying as well yeah so i actually walked

05:22out of the teepee bawling my eyes out and kai came up to me and was like bubby you're all right

05:26and then um i was just like i feel so bad but in saying that like i came in to something that i

05:34wasn't around before like is in sean were already like having these feelings and stuff and i didn't

05:40realize what was actually going on um for that blob to happen i just walked into it and i was like

05:46wait why is this even happening so i think that's why i got so emotional and kind of protective

05:51um but now saying like that there was a bit of a divide but also i want to mention

05:58trade is stick together as well yeah um but i want to also mention straight after izzy

06:05um spoke up to mia they hugged straight after that they did resolve stuff very fast um and it did

06:12resolve stuff very fast and yet like mick said the next day everyone was kind of fine and were

06:17all more comfortable like there wasn't much more of a divide um but there still was a bit of tension

06:22there obviously um but yeah there was yeah everything was fine that night after everything

06:30everyone hugged everyone was yeah all good so yeah because i i i have seen some commentary

06:36isabel and she she's going to be on with us i hope next week so obviously we'll give her her say

06:41yeah because oh yeah it was a bad edit and i saw alluded to that like they hugged afterwards

06:45but she she kind of did say what she said in the moment and it did seem a bit harsh

06:49i think because i know iz i think i and sean i know them both from a different perspective to what

06:57the viewers know them as so i know that izzy is a bit more straightforward um whereas like obviously

07:03the audience have hasn't been seeing much of izzy because like she's been so loved up and in her

07:09bubble not bringing any drama so now the first thing that she's in is her kind of coming across like

07:14this but um i just want to like mention to everyone as well like we have feelings and we are looking

07:22at all the comments and i went last night and saw izzy and took her flowers because i know it's very

07:27hard um in this situation and she was so you you saw her in person and brought her flowers yeah i bring

07:33yeah that's lovely because she like i went through it at the start coming into this whole experience i

07:39was so scared of sexualizing my trade because that is such a big thing in the industry and i did not

07:44want to do that whatsoever um but i knew obviously coming onto a show like love island there was

07:49going to be a lot of um talk about that and a lot of people disagreeing with me going on the show

07:54and so when the first thing simply because you're a tradie yeah that doesn't seem fair though yeah it

07:59doesn't and i think um there has been a lot of girls that have been backing me and supporting me but

08:04um there's been a lot of people as well saying like you've just ruined everything that us women

08:10have created like oh there's been some nasty comments and i was so distraught because i have

08:15spent four years creating this whole social media thing to encourage women into the trade get women

08:22around it and then for people to say that i'm ruining that it just hurt me so much and i'm glad

08:29now that people are seeing the side of me that's actually me i think that's them projecting whatever

08:35insecurities they have like you're allowed to be successful in whatever field and be sexy

08:40yeah you know percent i think whether you're plumbing or whether you're a nurse or whether

08:46you're a teacher like you should be able to go on love island do whatever the fuck you want

08:50let's jump back to to izzy you were going to say look we're all people you saw her last night you

08:54brought her flowers yeah so um i was at an event around the corner from her and i popped in and saw her

09:00because as i was i was very distraught in the first week of the show and she obviously has been so

09:08loved up until like now there's a lot of hate on her and i know how that feels because i already kind

09:13of went through that and um yeah i just and she's also never been around social media hate like i've

09:19been in the social media industry so i've copped hate my whole like social media life whereas she

09:25hasn't and so i think it's really confronting because as much as people would tell us don't read the

09:30comments and stuff like you get addicted to it you sit there scrolling through all the comments

09:34sit like seeing people just bagging you out bagging your business out like it's really tough to see

09:41you feel like your world's ending so that's one thing i want people to know is like be so careful

09:46and just know like what you're typing out that person is seeing and i said to lacy when she was on

09:50the podcast that when you're like a lightning rod for people's opinions you'll only gravitate towards

09:57the bad ones but i'm sure in the real world 100 anyone who comes up to isabel is going to be like

10:01oh my god i love you yeah exactly that's something that i heard of millie actually is millie from

10:06season one yeah um she was saying she because she copped a lot of hate as well she was saying and

10:13she said she's never been in public and copped hate so that just goes to show like people can't

10:18say it to your face yeah it exists in that completely separate world yeah mickey how have you

10:23found looking at people's commentary about you as the show was progressed uh i think when i started

10:30as well there was a bit of um oh this guy's a douche blah blah blah um i thought you were a bit

10:35douchey now at the start to be fair yeah yeah i watched it back and i was like what the fuck is

10:40this the first episode but but also i was like it's gonna change and it's gonna shift and like this

10:44is part of you know the character i am on love island you got to come in be the bomb be a bit of that guy

10:49and then um you know your personality will come out eventually when you're on there and just

10:53you know try and be yourself but i think yeah probably when i came in there i tried a little

10:57bit to to come across as that bombshell in a sense and like be that kind of alpha guy that looks like

11:03he's like you know i think it came off a little bit sleazy and that in that kind of vibe and i didn't

11:08really want to portray that so when i saw it i was like oh this isn't great but i knew it was going

11:12to change as well and i think um that's something i've always trusted with dead it is just like

11:16you know everyone's going to have their moments there's going to be times where everyone loves

11:20you there's going to be times where everyone hates you i think the whole first week everyone

11:23was like fuck mick he's a you know he's a loser mate like party promoter like does he does he talk

11:28about anything else all he talks about is eye contact this that blah blah blah and then second

11:33week everyone's going oh mick's my favorite guy on there now like he's so funny blah blah blah

11:37and i'm like yeah exactly so like everyone judges a book by its cover we're all guilty of it i think um

11:42and yeah you just got to get past it and get through it and and kind of like yana said like

11:47i've had hate in the past you just kind of laugh it off i mean there was a lot of things about my

11:52teeth and stuff on there that to me it's funny to read because i'm like mate like everyone's calling

11:57me a thumb sucker i've got tic tacs in my mouth this that blah blah and i'm sitting there like who can

12:01come up with the best one you know i think you've got you've got like beautiful pearly whites and you're

12:05really that's what i say mate and they're they're fucking real so everyone's hating on me saying

12:09i've got veneers mate um fuck you um but no it's look i laugh when i read it and obviously like

12:17you know there's times where i sit there i'm not gonna lie and i scroll through tic tac i'm like

12:21all right who's making some videos about me like some good ones and i'll just watch them and i'll

12:25just have a bit of a smirk to myself i'm like yeah fuck you i'm doing good baby it's such an emotional

12:29roller coaster like one day you're on top of the world and then the next you just feel like your

12:35world's crashing down like and it also just goes to show how quickly the audience can be

12:39can go from fucking loving you to thinking you're the worst person ever and it's just yeah well we've

12:46seen that with isabel obviously like everyone's like oh people hated kai at the start like and now

12:52people are loving you appeared to hate kai at the start yeah i think maybe that was as much a

12:56testament to how much they loved you yeah i mean yeah it was oh that was a ride but whatever we're

13:04going to come back to that in a sec mick i just want to ask you as well i guess one of the because

13:07you're right i saw that whole thing of like when you came in people were a bit like i'm not so sure

13:11about this guy and then they loved that you kind of were making mischief and kind of always up for

13:17creating fun and creating a bit of drama but one of the things that i have seen said is that

13:21is this guy like actually emotionally available is he actually looking for love what do you say to

13:28that bit of commentary that's been around like i'm a natural entertainer i believe like in my head

13:33like i've done it my whole life i've always liked to be the center of attention it's that so for me it

13:38was number one come in and be entertaining because people at home are watching and they want someone

13:41that's interesting so obviously i'm going on there to find someone like at the end of the day like

13:45that's that's such a nice thing like i love love i love being a romantic i love doing

13:49you know i love my movies i love kind of doing the cheesy romance gestures those kinds of things so

13:54i i don't take lightly to those comments because i'm like mate like i tried to be really genuine the

14:00whole time like if you ask all my friends when they watch back the show they're like mate you're

14:03just being yourself on there so i'll be myself if a girl came while i was being myself i guess i guess

14:08i think maybe where it has come from is kind of that idea of like when some of the girls have asked

14:15you questions i think are aiming to get past the like jokey veneer which is like a huge part of

14:21your personality in the wisecracks it kind of seems like it was almost like a protective thing of like

14:26i'm not going to let you in i'm going to avoid any questions that will make me have to open up a little

14:31bit look i'm open to being vulnerable but i think the thing with being vulnerable is you want to trust

14:36a person before you do that because i've met so many people in my life that like you know i've kind

14:40of overshared with early and things like that and you know i like talking about myself um so

14:45sometimes yeah i'll overshare and i thought coming on there like you know what stay a little bit more

14:50reserved here if there's a girl that matches my energy you know i'll put a bit more in i'll open

14:55up i'll be vulnerable but i'm not just going to do it in in two or three days of knowing someone just

14:59for the sake of it because you know sean's in the villa telling me i'm not opening up enough or

15:03something you know as the walls come down i open up but yeah you've got to get me there as well

15:07that's fair that's fair yeah now let's jump back to what we're saying about when kai came in at the

15:11start and people were hating and we had the producers on on the second episode and at that

15:16stage kai had just come in and there was a huge amount of commentary like the producers are so

15:21irresponsible this is way out of line yana's in this horrible position were you as distraught as

15:28you seemed in that moment i mean yeah like i have never felt that kind of pain before and i think

15:36you're in such like a heated environment you're lacking sleep like you're you're around people

15:45you don't have your family you don't have your phone you can't text your best friend being like

15:49oh my god what just happened and i was yelling alex why did you do this to me like why did i have to

15:55alex the producer yeah i was like why did you do this and everything but um no i totally understand

16:02what the viewers are saying in that sense but everything comes around um as you can see from

16:09now like um we we're kind of we're starting to open up to each other and everything what they did

16:15say in their defense because people were really going at them and saying she's so upset and it's

16:19not right and blah blah blah what they said was in your audition you talked about kai for 75% of the

16:26time and in his audition he did the same about you so i started filling out the application and

16:31um filmed a little tiktok as some people have seen um saying like now it's my time to maybe i apply

16:38whatever i don't can't remember what i said but i posted it and um didn't end up finishing the

16:44application and then i was in bali with a girlfriend and i was getting calls several calls saying

16:48complete the application just send it through and i was just like oh i don't think i'm ready for this

16:52like it's literally been a week i've lost the love of my life i don't know and i was so scared

16:57about the whole plumbing thing as well like i just didn't want to mix them two in um anyway ended up

17:04filming i was in the villa filmed my audition thing sent it through didn't think much of it forgot about

17:09it um got my brand going i honestly didn't think that i was going to get in i just thought like oh yeah

17:16whatever like my brain was a lot to in with kai like i wasn't over him yet and i was still trying

17:23to get over him but then i thought well if i come on love island i can get over him because there'll

17:27be new people i won't be in sydney where you know he is where his friends are i'll be able to just move

17:34on and then um yeah i did the application and i feel like i did talk about him a lot but there were a

17:41lot of questions being asked about my past relationship yeah hence why and i wasn't scared

17:47of him in the villa that's not why i was crying i was crying because i was like what the actual fuck

17:53i've come here to get away from this man that i've been so obsessed with and now he's here in my face

18:00with my girl because she was like i heard her saying like it was only four days but lacy yeah yeah

18:07okay well just in case people have missed this yeah lacy said when she was on the podcast she was

18:11like because i kind of put it to her i was like a lot of people were annoyed because you and yana

18:15were so close but you moved to kai yeah i was quite disappointed in the way that she answered that

18:20just in case people didn't hear that answer her basic thing was yeah i loved yana but like we were

18:25only in there four days and hey ho what you gonna do it's love island yeah i think very ungenuine

18:32yeah very yeah i see you mick i see you that was great mate by the way that was that was a cracker

18:38i love it very disingenuous also yeah yeah that was great that was i don't know what those words

18:42mean so i'm just gonna tap out oh yeah yeah what a surprise that's why you and lace were friends

18:46what do you what do you say to her thing of look i don't want to bag anyone out but i was quite

18:53thrown back at that because by day four just before kai came in it felt like we were in there for a

18:59month like the days go so slow because you don't have any distractions all you're doing is getting

19:06to know the people you're around you don't have a phone to pick up like you're always just talking

19:10and so lace and i think we're the youngest at this stage and we were so close like we really were very

19:16close and i felt like she was my girl in there and as much as she'll you know dumb it down that we

19:20weren't that close we were and even coming out of the villa she's tried to reach out to me and

19:25you know be like i miss you so much and all this and i just think like it's a bit rude that she

19:31comes on here and says like we weren't really that close when we really were the cameras didn't show

19:36it as much but we were so solid tell us how you really feel yana pardon tell us how you really feel

19:41yeah well you know i was a bit upset at that and um i guess i guess she might say her introduction

19:49to kai was him walking in you guys fighting immediately the girl's sitting down he gets a

19:57grilling he's basically from the second he walks in accused of doing all these things oh poor thing

20:02but i guess the impression was well yana and kai is dead in the water and therefore it's fair again

20:10but there's definitely some ways she could have gone about it i think um what would you what what

20:15what could she have done that would have made it even if you were still hurt about it that would

20:20have made it okay um i think just before i mean she's had a few comments on there that people will

20:27know but just made sure that i was okay because she clearly saw that i was distressed um and yeah i

20:34think there was some way she could have gone about it obviously with her going and kissing him straight

20:40away like as much as she'll say she wasn't the first one to kiss him but yeah like i don't know

20:46too much too soon yeah yeah she just could have she could have been a bit more there for me considering

20:51we were so close and i'm sure if the roles were reversed um it'd be world war seven so yeah yeah fair

20:58enough i'm only asking this now because she did make good tv though for a bit yeah exactly i wouldn't

21:04take anything back like i'm glad everything happened the way it did but yeah um at that point in time

21:10like i will yeah it was really fucking hard there's so there's a few different versions

21:15sorry go on please in her defense we say we're exes but she doesn't know our past she doesn't know

21:24how close we were she doesn't know you know all the like emotional trauma that we got put through

21:31together me and kai and so when i say x she could it could be a week it could be two like she just

21:37she didn't know how the bond was so i guess that's where she kind of just was like yeah whatever

21:44like yeah yeah fair enough so i do understand how she would have got carried away um but can you

21:51clarify because it's not a hundred percent clear from the conversation what happened if you're happy

21:55to share because you did this no i didn't know you did yes i didn't know i didn't like what happened

22:02did did kai cheat or not is the simple question or was it just a messaging thing oh no he didn't

22:08physically cheat that i know of um but it was a messaging thing but it had happened quite a few

22:14times and i um yeah at the the time that i broke up with him i pretty much said to him like

22:20if this happens again i'm walking away which is exactly what i did and i think me saying that the

22:25last time he did it is really what got me to put my foot down and be like i'm actually done like i'm

22:30walking away from this um because i'm not copying it anymore but our relationship was so toxic by the

22:36end of it that it was just falling apart and it it was a matter of time before something like that

22:41happened there's kind of a thawing of relations now and you're you know you're gravitating towards

22:46each other a little bit and again there's like mixed commentary some people are like oh my god kai and

22:51yana i hope i pray it'd be so great what a story if they got back together and other people are like

22:55yana run no it's destined to fail how do you feel watching it back now i'm like god i was

23:01head over heels for this man like so fast but um i think what again what people don't understand is

23:09stuff moves so fast in there when you're and also he is my ex-boyfriend he's not a random guy so it's

23:15so easy for me to fall back into that relationship and those memories and everything like that

23:21and i'm such a lover girl and i think it comes across as that on the show like you can see that

23:29i'm so so like you know loved up in in the whole situation um whereas he's a bit more like standoffish

23:38and not standoffish like he's still in it but you can definitely tell who has the heavier side

23:44the heavier feelings yeah the heavier feelings yes yeah yeah fair yeah i think i saw that when

23:49you said something like um you know this was gonna like i want to be with you forever i know

23:55and he's like and he's like forever how many drinks did i have

23:57that was funny though great scene great scene mickey you're good friends with uh with ross and boston

24:05how have you felt the whole house has reacted off the back of like the love triangle thing

24:10with sharon boston's a good girl ross is a good guy shan obviously was upset about the situation

24:15trying her best to to get through it and deal with the insecurities that come across with

24:20you know a bit of jealousy and things like that and obviously it's hard when they have a connection

24:24um that they're building i think there was bits of it that probably wasn't shown

24:29that ross and shan were as close as they probably were at the time so i feel like yeah i feel like

24:35boston's kind of come in change the game a little bit in a sense and and obviously it's made shan

24:41uneasy so i think around the villa there was yeah definitely a bit of tension with it but um i also

24:45want everyone to remember like this is so not normal for you to like be so close to someone and then

24:53someone come in want your couple and you have to sit there watching them have conversations like

24:58this doesn't happen on the outside world if someone takes your man or is interested in your man

25:04they're going on a date elsewhere you're at home like you're not physically having to watch it and

25:09i think that's what upset me with kai and lacy and shan with ross and boston that's why it hurts so

25:17much is because you actually have to just sit there watching your worst nightmare unfold in front of

25:22your face speaking of kind of like when you break up with an ex and don't watch their stories anymore

25:26because you can't because you're like you get up yeah it's like that in full 4k right in front of

25:30your face that's fair and the the striptease moment ross was a bit awkward what were the boys

25:35like in the run-up to that like are they going to be a bit of crack or are they actually shitting

25:39themselves when we got told about it i was like oh here we go like fuck like i've heard about this

25:44now and then kind of walked into the room we see our outfits and we're like oh no oh no do you get

25:48to pick your own outfit or as one well i'm just i remember thinking like mate what is this love

25:53island australia budget mate because fucking like these costumes mate like mine was cut with a pair of

25:58scissors like a crop top freaking apron mate i was i was pissed and then put me in this chef hut

26:03mate i look like a pope um yeah i wasn't happy about it mate so well that's your fault for being

26:08the de facto cook of the house isn't it you reap what you sow i know mate but they haven't showed

26:11enough for my cooking to be honest i was a bit pissed off about that like i'm trying to get some

26:14brand deals for this his omelettes unreal oh yeah you wouldn't know you never ate that

26:21cooper cooper ate that omelette and he said it was salty buddy bastard no you know what mick would

26:27always make me go on cheese toasties every night i would come up and i'd be like mick he'd be like

26:34you want a cheese toasty i'd be like yeah okay what back to ross quickly like that guy is the best

26:41like impressionist oh yeah he's good is that the right word i don't even know but um he's so good

26:45that's your genuine impressionist yeah that's the word yeah that's the one um i think yeah just the

26:52way ross moves and stuff like he's full he's running like michael jackson as a gardener like

26:57it's just crazy yeah it was he does it well like he knows what he's doing and he could he could just

27:02he could imitate anyone's voice on the fly on the spot like whoever you are which is just crazy to me

27:06hey what did you cook in the villa that you were upset wasn't shown on the screen what culinary

27:11delights you did a really good one is it coming up there's this one coming up i'm hoping it makes it

27:16like it's huevos rancheros which is a mexican dish oh my god it was unreal yeah we crisp up a nice uh

27:22flower tortilla and then we we hit it with some refried bean that we made and then some chorizo that

27:27we we fried up and then a bit of fresh pico de gallo and some guacamole on top and um yeah that was

27:32proper breakfast mate oh great in the next episode i was i was that was so good i was like how is this

27:40for free like i feel like i should be paying big bucks yeah i agree and i was working hard mate i was

27:45feeding like 15 16 people at one time you know like it's tough with one burner one induction burner

27:51and i'm doing my best but yeah there was one night i made pasta too and i rolled it out with um

27:55with the love island water bottle oh okay it would have been nice to see that that does like

28:01it takes some skill just because you mentioned now making yana toasties every night and all that

28:06is there a world in which if kai hadn't come into the villa that you two might have considered each

28:11filter a bit more closely go on mick what do you reckon look at the start i was like no chance

28:16like when we covered up i was like no no i think yana felt the same like 100 like she's putting

28:21pillows between us um first night so i was like look this is gonna be a hard one to break the walls

28:49and then two minutes later this bloke walks in mate so i'm like so fucked is this is this pre-planned

28:54or something i was like is yana in on this there's no way she no dude we were sitting there and i

28:59remember i can't i think the topic exes came up because i was talking to him about his ex and i was like

29:04well we both talked about ours too much i think that yeah we both spoke about our exes too much

29:09but um i said to mick like fuck i could not imagine my ex being out of deal with watching me on this

29:15show i was like how do you how would you feel and we were kind of both talking about our exes at this

29:19stage and then 10 minutes later he walks in like i was so rattled at that mick how would you have

29:26reacted if your ex had walked in no i think um i think yana's feelings are definitely um you know valid

29:32and i i would have been the same like looking at a kiss someone in front of me like or or start a

29:38connection with someone else in there i'd be like well firstly i'd be like well this is this is fake

29:43like you still like me i know it you know um now look i don't want to i don't want to embarrass you

29:49any further yana at all there's nothing to be embarrassed about actually it's two people expressing

29:53love for each other through a physical you know dance the hideaway oh how was that experience

30:01how is the experience of walking into the hideaway is it like do you genuinely feel you've got

30:07privacy or you're like well obviously there's cameras there so firstly i just want to say

30:11imagine you've rekindled with your ex-boyfriend that you were very in love with and you've had

30:18this sexual tension and you can't do anything because you've got 10 other people around you

32:07i want to watch them all so i just left it i haven't spoke the mum asked me to go to dinner the

32:11other night but i left her on open because i'm like let's just get this out of the road first

32:16because i was worried she was gonna book it for like the night of and then she would watch it and

32:21then i'd get a grilling um so maybe you'll just go like it'll be it'll remain this thing that is left

32:27unsaid between you and them forevermore i hope so i hope i hope so um but yeah it was very full-on

32:35and just like weird noises as well while you're doing it well can you hear thanks mick mick that's

32:41interesting can you hear what's going on in the hideaway from the mansion or from anywhere mate i

32:45was walking past nick knocking the like every couple of minutes to be honest but no you can't

34:28that gabby's not someone they would date on that he would date on the outside obviously brought out

34:33something in her but is that not fair like you know when people oh what's your type what's your type

34:39and if he got well well that's maybe that's it's not someone i would date on the outside but here we

34:44are and because i think he did say he he had a lot of affection for her yeah yeah i think it was a lot

34:50of miscommunication but i think for the first chat with a new girl that like i don't know i just feel

34:57like he could have maybe said that on their second chat when gabby when they've met gabby first like

35:02they hadn't even met gabby yet so i feel like that was pretty harsh um and he could have just got to

35:08know the girl without having to talk down on gabby or you know some people have said in retort to

35:15that that gabby was kind of giving the same vibes to alex like i really wouldn't mind if you pick me

35:20well i feel like because she saw like her and jotham they're not showing as much but her and jotham

35:25were so locked in like gabby was head over heels for jotham and um like i remember we were sitting down

35:32one time i don't know if she'd get angry for saying this but she was like guys i can just picture

35:37jotham in my labor room like when i'm delivering my kids like it's so funny like she was so

35:44obsessed with this man and i think to hear something like that obviously she may have taken

35:49it out of context but that would have hurt and she would have you know been like okay hold up i need

35:55to find someone new if he's going to go to this girl and that's why i think she put on such a front

35:59to alex but i think gabby just got hurt from the start of the whole jotham thing and that's why she

36:05kind of pulled back but um as it goes on like she actually does really like that guy yeah and so

36:12i agree with that as well i think she does like from from what i saw like she was really into him

36:17and and jotham um jotham's great with his words are just like beating around the bush like i'd say

36:22like he would never get caught doing anything that guy yeah he just knows how to talk his way out of

36:27anything um and also just not say the wrong thing kind of um so look i think gabby is great like for

36:34for reality tv at the end of the day like she's just she's a character yeah um and and she's herself

36:40and i think i judged her a bit early in there because i'd known her before she'd come to a few

36:44of my events in the past and like briefly met her a few times and i when i got in there i kind of

36:49judged her a bit just for being um kind of just like i thought she was like playing like really

36:53ditzy and stuff but you kind of get to know her and you're like she's actually just really genuine

36:58in there so i think she just yeah she just does what she thinks is right and and and and you know

37:05she loves hard and and sometimes that happens with it so look i love gabby i think um i think

37:11she's great and um yeah i'm excited for people to see more of her yeah guys before we love you

37:17and leave you we have to give an honorable mention to your acrobatics in the uh heart strips to be

37:22challenged yeah um was that rehearsed so i backstory i was um before the show i was going

37:31to a lot of strip shows and i got pulled up on stage and the stripper did that like you took like

37:37male strip shows like magic magic yeah i was going to those i knew kyle wanted to be in magic mic

37:42i was going to heaps of those before going into the show because they're just fun it's a fun girls

37:47night and i went up on stage and the stripper did that exact move on me and i said to kyle i was

37:53like oh like we should do this and so up at the kitchen it was me kai and jotham and i was trying

38:00to explain to kai how to do it and we tried it and jotham was there spotting me trying to be like no

38:06like this is not going to work like you're going to drop her on her head and we're we didn't end up

38:10getting it up in the kitchen because jotham kept catching me then when we got down the bottom

38:14we were like fuck it like let's just do it we're gonna ace it like we i don't know looking back

38:19at it like that is so dangerous but yeah we kind of just was like fuck it let's just do it well i'm

38:25glad you weren't the first pair of islanders removed from the villa in an ambulance something

38:29going wrong in the old strip challenge that's yeah there you go well i nearly burned my eyebrows
