00:00living in the basement it's been really hard getting it finally finished and
00:10looking amazing it's gonna be super my dad would probably flip his lid if he saw this
00:17he's very much perfectionist never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that something like this
00:35would be a reality it looks so different now doesn't it I mean it's definitely become way more than we
00:46had planned right well it's almost like you don't need the rest of the house we've only got a week
00:57until the kitchen is arriving so all of this needs to be done before then walls and ceilings are really
01:05important actually underrated sometimes good boy what keeps us going in between the highs and lows
01:15of the whole renovation project is when we can get together and do things as a family oh they're
01:21bringing it out I'm getting nervous now I think it's a crazy idea that's the end whose idea was
01:30it about a hundred feet of lights disaster with some guests coming in a few weeks it's going to
01:36be really nice to have the Sun Terrace finished finally the clock is ticking on the Costa del Sol for
01:55Jasmine and John's renovation there's just a few weeks to go to get everything finished in time for a
02:01special gathering that's been organized for close family and friends we wanted to do a nice little
02:07housewarming party to invite everyone back to see how things have progressed but everything's delayed
02:16um we're still hoping to have everything done by then it will be challenging but with the invites already
02:28out and flights booked a last-minute cancellation is not an option and while the entertainment room in
02:35the basement is now fully operational a lot of the family's home is still a building site I knew when we
02:41took on this project that we would have to be living here whilst the renovation was going on but I think
02:47what I didn't anticipate was that it would be so dirty
02:52so noisy so overwhelming so many people in the house and so many different demands on my headspace
03:11I think we're kind of at the pinnacle at the moment of the most stressful time and hopefully we get
03:22over this peak and then it starts getting easier and it starts getting more finished and you start to
03:27see more progress so that's what I'm hoping right now one of the biggest challenges for Jasmine is that
03:34John is away from home filming in Wales in an extreme location I'm currently working at Mount
03:41Snowden which is it seems like and is a long way from jazz and the kids in the south of Spain it feels
03:47it feels weird I'm into about 10 days of being away from them and there's a lot going on at the house
03:53and I feel slightly helpless there's certain bits that I thought I would be doing certain bits that I
03:59would be finishing but we're really up against it time-wise so jazz is having to crack on but
04:06needs must I have to work I'm looking forward to getting home and grafting and putting in a stint of
04:11trying to finish the house even in summer temperatures can be close to freezing on the
04:17peak of Mount Snowden while in Spain Jasmine's team of builders are labouring in 40 degree heat
04:29I bought a watermelon yesterday me and the kids ate about a quarter of it I've got so much left and
04:34I thought I need to give some to the guys it's so hot today I thought a nice cold watermelon out of
04:42the fridge would be refreshing I think here because of the heat and the temperature you know you wouldn't
04:54really be wanting a cup of tea and a biscuit take some of that and then take some of this something
05:01really cold and refreshing like watermelon straight out the fridge is much more appealing thank you thank
05:12at the moment the renovation team's main focus inside the house is the kitchen where the laying
05:23of the marble floor tiles has just been finished otherwise the kitchen is little more than an empty
05:29shell that kitchen just no walls no ceiling it is depressing to look at but once the plasterboard goes
05:42up then you can start to really visualize how it's going to come together when it's finished walls and
05:49ceilings are really important actually underrated sometimes plasterboarding will give the kitchen a
05:59basic shape but there's a long way to go before it's ready for Jasmine's new units to be installed
06:04the kitchen is going to be delivered in a week's time all of the electrics need to be finished the
06:16plumbing the plastering the painting I don't know how they're going to do it all in a week
06:23apart from hitting the kitchen deadline Jasmine is also on a mission to give the Sun Terrace a
06:34complete makeover originally the idea was to install solar panels up here but that would involve big
06:41structural changes with a hefty cost attached so the plan is on hold for the foreseeable future instead
06:49the Terrace has been serving as a utility area I was happy for the Sun Terrace upstairs to be somewhere
06:57for laundry because most of the time it would be too hot to sit up there in the Sun but John was
07:01adamant that he really wanted it to be like a lovely entertaining area so the idea up here is to create a
07:10really chilled Ibiza kind of vibe with lots of greenery some nice lighting lots of natural textures I got a
07:24roll of wicker fence panels to attach to the wall just to give it a bit more natural texture and I
07:32think it will be quite a nice backdrop because it is going to be so bright up there I think the dark color
07:38will actually just be a little bit less intense on your eyes the garden isn't ready it's still a
07:46building side so I've got some slight concerns about having a nice usable space for the housewarming
07:53party so getting the rooftop terrace up to speed and transforming it into somewhere that we can enjoy
08:02being outside and entertaining guests is really important when I think it's not simply a case of
08:09getting the Sun Terrace ready in time there's also the matter of budget I bought a load of furniture from
08:17a friend when we first bought this house and one of the things that that was in the bundle was a
08:24dining table eight chairs and three sun loungers all for outside use I'm gonna have sun loungers over
08:33there on that side obviously minus the washing you know if we're actually lounging up here I won't have
08:39all everyone's smalls hanging up and then the tech this is a great big area and it could easily fit this
08:47big table that we've got so the only downside is the table is got a glass top so I've asked the guys to
08:57see if they think they could get that glass top up here either up the stairs which I'm not sure it's a
09:03very big piece of glass or up the outside of the building so we're gonna see if we can do that fingers
09:10crossed it will work because then I won't have to buy any new furniture for up here to help come
09:18up with the plan Jasmine is bringing in head builder Dominic we've been looking at various solutions trying
09:26to get it up inside the house that I don't think it will go up the stairs because of the size of it
09:32and that would be fine because we can very easily take it up the outside of the building if only the
09:38table top itself wasn't glass because it's extremely heavy do you think it's possible
09:48I think it's it with something I think it's possible but risky I'll tell you why because
09:52the hardest bit is getting over over the very lip at the top one little dink on there yeah and it will
09:57explode I think it's easy just to pass it and hope someone grabs it and because that's the problem
10:02you're reaching like this and it's quite it's quite heavy two guys can actually stand closer to the
10:07edge and you've got a hell of a lot more chance than taking it up through okay as well just in
10:13case we're secure as well I don't really have a solution for the tabletop yet we do it don't worry
10:37outside the house Jasmine and her team have been brainstorming and now the lifting of the second
10:46hand table to the Sun Terrace can get underway the plan that's been devised is to attempt hoisting up
10:52the glass top using a rope and pulley system so first one of the builders Liam wants to try it out
10:59using a wooden pallet as a stand-in so the guys are just having a little test to see if it's going
11:11to be possible the tricky part is going to be getting it over those roof tiles which we've got
11:15going up the house we're trying to figure it out this is me trying to be eco-friendly reusing recycling
11:25stuff that I've already got not spending money on new furniture getting it in place but if it's
11:30going to take five guys half a day to get it done then it's not worth it the worry is unlike the
11:36pallet the sheet of glass is heavy weighing in at nearly 40 kilograms when you are pulling down on
11:44this road straight down like that the pressure is not so bad but the trouble is the ledges on the on
11:52the roof if the glass hits that it's just going to shatter so we need a second rope to pull it
11:57outwards and then that's got more pressure on which can cause it's a pop out you've got your
12:04swimming pool underneath yeah as the team sorts out the extra rope Dominic directs the lifting of the
12:14table frame which is being done by hand the frame up to the roof terrace was easy the guys just sort
12:35of handed it to each other from one balcony to the next until it reached the top the glass table top
12:40was obviously a completely different scenario with the pulley system in place and a second rope to
12:49hand Dominic wants to reassess the situation himself Dominic I'm not sure they'll grab it well you got
12:56to watch out for Ryan watch that wall that's the dodgy pit we don't think we could do it we won't okay
13:03yeah because they're also the neighbors I don't want them to get their garden shadowed in glass Dominic
13:07felt quite confident that we could get it up there safely and he really wanted to give it a go oh
13:13they're bringing it out coming in mate just bring it out it's heavy it's heavy V does Dominic it's gonna
13:23just don't worry about it crazy idea don't worry about it it's too risky what I like about Dominic is he
13:35doesn't like anything beat him he's very can do and I could see he didn't want to let that glass table top
13:43beats him he's determined I'm very good at physics but this one's pretty heavy no but I don't want it
13:51to end up in there everywhere in the pool do you know I mean I'm gonna go down and tell him because
13:58to reach that high you've got to be holding just a bottom foot and that means you've got no control
14:02over it we'll come up with prototype number two don't worry no no we'll get some suckers I'll get
14:09Steve sucker on it you can put it in the skip okay I think we're gonna ball as much as I wanted to
14:17recycle and reuse that table when we got the glass table top in place I think we all realized that it
14:26was far too risky and that we'd have to find another solution what I'm thinking is that we could maybe just
14:35get some wood and create a table top of our own up there so we can make a nice easy table out of
14:42that we'll get some you PVC decking got the frame just cut it like that trim it and put it on top
14:47it don't matter I'm happy that that frame has gone up there I'll have a look at it yeah don't worry
14:53about it just leave it like that there's a lot of excitement but nothing happened as well as project
15:01managing the renovation Jasmine is also now single-handedly looking after the door to joy
15:06and son Albion at home full-time we have really tried to minimize the amount of disruption for the
15:15kids which is difficult when you're living on a building site and now they're broken up from
15:20school and they're at home much more of the time it's even more difficult because they want to play
15:26outside they want to go for a swim or they want to have their friends over and all of that is not
15:30really possible because there's just work going on everywhere at the moment I mean at the end of
15:36the day they are very lucky kids you know they've got a lovely life and at the end of this process
15:43they'll have a beautiful home and it will all be worth it but it's it's tough actually for kids to
15:50deal with this sort of thing day in day out it's tough for adults as well with John still away filming in
15:58Wales and so much going on in the house Jasmine's decided it's time she and the children had a short
16:05break hey guys who wants a pan au chocolat me nice holiday treat want to come sit up at the table the
16:16kids and myself are in a lovely little holiday apartment on a resort just down the coast a little
16:24way I just needed to get out of the house it was getting too much the noise the dirt the constant
16:30decisions I don't think I realized how much it was getting to me until I actually arrived here it's
16:39nice and quiet here isn't it compared to at home another way less dusty way less dusty oh it's been so
16:47nice to be able to chill out have fun with the kids when we first arrived I looked out of the
17:05window and I saw a pool right outside I said kids come and look and we looked it and then we just
17:11rushed to get our swimming things on and we all piled out and had a lovely swim it's so nice it's so
17:35relaxing I just feel like instead of being at this level of intensity I've just been able to come down to a
17:45normal even keel where I feel like I can cope again
17:49down on the Costa del Sol while Jasmine and the children are away the renovation team are working
18:09hard in the kitchen to meet their deadline one of the jobs on the list is preparing the marble floor tiles
18:17for polishing called grinding this process removes blemishes for a smooth shiny finish and it's a
18:25dirty job so Dominic was keen to get it out of the way first the plan for today was the marble guy is
18:33everybody's got to get out and let him do his thing but it's all gone a bit peaked on the grinder for
18:39the floor marble can't come he's someone's ill so now we've got to basically shuffle it all around
18:45although it's not ideal with so much to do in a short space of time Dominic's cracking on with
18:52the next task I'm boarding this wall up here in the kitchen rather than lose the day I just stabbed
19:01my finger and the guys are filling sand in it's getting there so loads of little jobs do you want to
19:09do a bit this ceiling fella that's how good at you at balancing boards that's not great you can still
19:15adjust it later from the hotel she's staying in Jasmine is keeping up to date on the latest developments
19:32today they're plasterboarding the kitchen so that is ready for the plasterers to come in the plaster
19:39needs a few days to dry before we can paint it we've only got a week until the kitchen is arriving so
19:49all of this needs to be done before then hola Juan her priority is reworking the schedule starting
19:57with rebooking Juan the marble polisher there are a lot of processes that are all dependent on one
20:18another so I can actually have the headspace to do the work that I need to do to get this project
20:25across the line just by not being there and doing it remotely the problem is the kitchen is being
20:33delivered on Wednesday unless he wants to come on the weekend I was actually amazed at how productive I
20:44was able to be without people asking me different things every five seconds and I was able to focus
20:51a lot better my to-do list was going down instead of up it's now nearing the end of the family's mini
21:03break so before heading home they're exploring the nearby seaside town of Cala de Mijas
21:09me house I got the me cast is a really buzzing place it's a very popular holiday resort and somewhere
21:24that's lots of people really enjoy there's loads going on there's beautiful beach you can go and
21:30just enjoy feeling like you're on holiday chocolate oh joy that looks good yes this looks yummy because
21:43the weather is so warm here we quite often get an ice cream when I think back to my childhood an ice
21:50cream was for only special occasions very rarely when the ice cream van came around but living here I think
21:58we've been having quite a few ice creams but you know it'd be rude not to wouldn't it how's yours kids
22:04yummy I think if I remember rightly from my last visits here it was built in around the 1500s and
22:15it used to be a pirate watchtower and there's this funny story about one night a pirate who tried to come
22:22ashore instead of shooting him with bows and arrows they threw like hard loaves of bread at him
22:29and he ran away I can never quite switch off entirely from what's going on back at home because
22:37my phone never stops ringing pinging and problems and decisions and this that and the other but it is
22:44nice to just pretend for a minute that we're on holiday and have a nice little relaxing afternoon
22:51do you like it here it is very pretty it's lovely isn't it I can't believe it's so warm isn't it the
22:59ice cream's melting so fast I think the break was really needed by everyone probably even the builders
23:08they just could crack on with anything they needed to do so yes for the kids to have fun and be
23:17somewhere where they can just relax on their summer holidays for me where I can be less stressed I
23:24think it was as much for them as it was for me after her time away off-site Jasmine is rejoining the
23:37build in person first she's checking in with the team working on the kitchen where plastering has
23:43begun the ceiling and one wall are already nearly completed oh oh that's looking good guys well it's
23:52amazing the transformation it makes isn't it so what is the plan there are now only three working
24:14days left before the new kitchen units arrive so to prevent damaging or spoiling them any job involving
24:21plaster paint or other chemicals must be finished that includes prepping the marble floor so I'm
24:28thinking if the floor polisher guy wants to come would he be able to start in one area that's not in
24:33your way I'm not joking he'd be wasted his time soon as soon as he's caught plaster it's gonna go in the air and it's gonna be all open for him
24:40Tom said maybe get him to do it at the weekend on Saturday
24:43let's try and figure something out I can't delay the kitchen because otherwise I won't get the worktop because they all shut down for the summer
24:52the kitchen delivery deadline has become all the more important because of another complication
24:59that's arisen it's vital that the kitchen is ready on schedule because we have got the worktop
25:10company coming on the very last day before they closed down for the summer so if it's not done on
25:18that day we will have to wait until after the summer to get our kitchen worktop with a kitchen installation
25:26deadline they can't afford to miss they can't slow down but they need to come up with a solution for
25:32getting the kitchen tiles polished too the kitchen has to come when it's coming there's no backup plan
25:39for that otherwise we completely miss the window getting the worktop in yeah he said he can come at the
25:45weekend oh happy days then but because the marble polisher can work at the weekend while they are off
25:52site Dominic is having a rethink if he comes and does this side and concentrates on this side and when
25:59we come in Monday we're gonna be paying in putting the electric sockets and things like that and hopefully
26:07he's finished this area and he's over there because quite a messy process that's the problem there is mess
26:12everywhere having the plasterers here at the same time as the floor polisher it's not ideal really
26:19because they need to be able to have the space available to do their work but we're trying to
26:27coordinate everything so that they can do one area at a time and then they can swap so in that respect you
26:35know we're finding solutions so that everyone can get their jobs done moving on next on Jasmine's to
26:44do list is the sun terrace and the dining table we decided that we would try and make an alternative
26:51table top for up here the safe having to buy a whole new sex all these chairs and the lounges and
26:56everything all go together so this nice wooden table was able to come up in pieces and be assembled up
27:03here and it's just a really nice natural wood I think it looks even better with a little bit of
27:09this varnish on it and it will just be really hard wearing and durable it's actually quite therapeutic
27:17relaxing this kind of thing to be up here and no one talking to me no decisions to make just doing this
27:25you know I could get quite into DIY better late than never it's now been nearly two weeks since Jasmine
27:39has been project managing the renovation on her own in the kitchen the time-saving strategy she and
27:47Dominic came up with has been put into play we've resolved the marble and the plasterers they're
27:55working together now half the front room each it's working they seem relatively happy even today I
28:02didn't know they were going to plaster the whole lot so they've gone a little bit extra so brilliant we
28:08will hit the target so the kitchen will be able to go in the good news continues for Jasmine with John's
28:16time away filming in Wales finally coming to an end I find it really difficult now being away for work
28:23and I sort of hate leaving Jazz and the kids and leaving Jazz with everything to do at the house but
28:30the plus side is to get home and sort of see the fruit of Jazz's hard work and stress is amazing and
28:38it is energizing you kind of come home and you see what has changed at the house there's just so much
28:45going on that it's hard to keep on top of everything on my own so having John back is a huge help and
28:51it's also so nice to be able to have family time you know I think that's what keeps us going in between
29:00the highs and lows of the whole renovation project is when we can get together and do things as a family
29:08so before returning to the renovation John's joining Jasmine and the children with one of
29:15their friends on a visit to a local dog rescue center which as dog owners themselves they're
29:21keen to support we're all animal lovers although I have to say I'm slightly nervous that the kids are
29:27going to want to take another dog home it's not the right time for us because we're living on
29:33construction sites right now Joy's friend Asha is tagging along with us as well the kids are just
29:41desperate to come and walk the dogs even though they're not adopting right now the family have
29:47offered their help to exercise the dogs on a voluntary basis welcoming them is the rescue center's
29:53president Susie would you like to see a new puppy that's just arrived yes yeah call us we'll take
29:59you in there we'll catch up with you in a moment lovely so how long have you been running this place
30:05about three years but I've been a volunteer here for about 23 years really yeah how long has the
30:11charity been going 33 years 33 years how many dogs have you got in there we've got about 150 at the
30:18moment yes and so the dogs come from mountain from mainly the streets like dogs that are found on the
30:24street yeah all the all the dogs here all but a few or just abandoned we find them hanging on trees
30:28we find them in rubbish bins we find them in sacks and things like that we never put a dog to sleep
30:33unless it's terminally ill and we can't do another thing about it and believe me we bend over backwards
30:39to make these dogs better if a family like ours wanted to adopt a dog what's the criteria what do you
30:44look for in a family well we always ask to come you to come and see the dogs first i would say half of
30:49the time the dog you think you want in your head isn't the dog you really need so it's always better
30:53to come here meet the dog take them for a walk then you can get to see the personality then you'll see
30:59oh that that is the dog for us
31:05their new arrivals these dogs are being kept separate from the others so they can be put on a controlled diet
31:11to feed them back up to a healthy weight oh they're super hungry the problem is their tummies will
31:17just be tiny because they're not used to eating so we can only give them little bits at a time go on
31:22baby we're going to rehabilitate these we're going to get them well and we're going to find new homes
31:28for them and when you've done that it makes everything all worthwhile at the end of it yeah yeah it's
31:33amazing work that you do thank you we're proud of this because we can see the transformation i know i know
31:50to get a taste of what it's like being a voluntary dog walker jasmine and john have been paired up with
31:55two of the center's residents clancy and summer he's a good boy yes summer's such a pretty name
32:09he's happy oh look at you yes the dogs love the water and especially on a hot day like this
32:29living your best life now you've given me a little shower i think the dogs are ready now to head back
32:37back there were two lovely dogs that were just sweet-natured just need someone to give them some
32:47tlc much no much there's a dog in there called munch and annoyingly has slightly stolen my heart
32:59do you need someone to rescue you going into the evening i should be thinking about what we're doing
33:05for the renovation tomorrow but i'll probably be thinking about what munch is doing here and how
33:09much munch would benefit from a loving family like ours but i'm not sure the house is ready for another
33:15big dog yet there's 150 dogs or so in there all looking for a home
33:25you know it's quite upsetting to see them all every single one of them you know looking at you like pick
33:31me pick me pick me these wonderful people are picking up the pieces of all these poor dogs that
33:37someone else has abandoned or abused i'm glad we came and i think we'll come back again
34:01the summer sun is shining on the costa del sol and it's a big day for jasmine and the renovation team
34:07the new kitchen units are arriving and inside everything is primed for their installation
34:14seeing the space where the kitchen's going to go now it's all been painted and it's starting to look
34:19more like a livable space it's great and the kitchen's been delivered i think it's going to look
34:27amazing i can't wait to get it installed so it seems like everything is falling into place
34:36is that the whole kitchen oh there's still more coming oh look the tall columns just fit
34:42it's so nice to see the kitchen coming together because at one point when they ripped it all out
34:49there was no floor there was no walls and no ceiling and it was kind of terrifying but step by step
35:01everything is coming together and being put in place
35:09very exciting it looks beautiful it's almost better than i remember now i see it here in the house the
35:16handles are lovely the color is absolutely gorgeous i'm really looking forward to having a functional
35:22dishwasher again because we haven't got one downstairs in the basement kitchenette
35:28and uh yeah i can't wait i love my dishwasher the day also marks an achievement for dominic and his
35:36builders they've taken an empty shell and constructed new walls and a ceiling all plastered and painted within
35:43a week we've hit the kitchen target which was great bit of stress a little bit of stress so um it's all
35:51ready to go for them we've still got the splash backs the painting the decorating final touches
35:59bits of skirting board they're all little jobs but because they're finishing jobs they they're quite slow
36:06and quite you know it's got to look perfect so you know we're getting there
36:11however the pressure has now shifted onto the kitchen installers to keep to schedule
36:18the plan is that over the next two days they are going to fit the kitchen and the kitchen fitters
36:25have to finish the kitchen on time because the worktop company's final day for measuring is in two days
36:37so they have to do it then in order for us to get the worktop fitted before they go off on their break
36:44so there's no margin for error at all with the worktop company's holiday deadline in mind jasmine brings in
36:53kitchen designer rebecca to run her installation team herself all the furniture's here as you can see
37:02they arrive already assembled the guys are here now working and i've just been through with them the
37:08design so there's no question about what's on the plan and what's not on the plan fingers crossed
37:14everything goes smoothly i'm sure it will everything seems to be as it should be and tomorrow will be
37:19finished i'm kind of entrusting everything to the kitchen fitters and hoping they get it all right
37:28there's no reason why they shouldn't get it right because i've been through it enough times with
37:31rebecca and she's very meticulous leaving the kitchen installation to the person best place to
37:40manage the process jasmine enlists john's help to focus on another key area of the build the top sun
37:47terrace which they need to have finished in time for their housewarming party with some guests coming
37:53in a few weeks it's going to be really nice to have the sun terrace finished because the house is south
37:57facing i've always envisaged that once the sun is off the garden we'll spend the evenings with the
38:03last bit of sun on the roof we've had some guests in the past and i've slightly always hankered that we
38:08could take them up there for an evening drink but now i feel like the space i feel like we're proud
38:13enough of that space to sit and happily have some drinks in the evening it was originally john's idea
38:19to transform part of the sun terrace into an ibiza style lounge stroke chill out zone but in his absence
38:27jasmine's been making the design decisions yet another delivery to our house
38:34i mean i don't really order much i can't keep up with how much stuff jazz has ordered that's
38:39arriving at the moment i don't look at our bank account i keep seeing boxes around the house i'm like
38:44what is that what's that for why is no these aren't smaller than i was hoping for anyway never mind
38:52where's the end coming off coming off this is a mess isn't it put it on here and untangle it first
39:02oh my god whose idea was it about 100 feet of lights and then they're all tangled up
39:09this is a disaster surely they should have opened up easier than this this is going so badly
39:21i mean it's fine rolling out the lights we haven't actually got the
39:23i haven't actually put the posts up yet to hang them on
39:25it's not long until another one of jasmine's purchases arrives to fit in with the bamboo
39:42covering she's put up on the wall she's chosen soft furnishings with a similar beach club vibe
39:48oh look at that they just two in each yes that's eight yeah they're a vacuum bag right that's
39:56satisfying opening that's so satisfying they look nice this house needs storage just for jazz's cushions
40:03i have gone a bit overboard with cushions starting to shape up up here isn't it yeah it's good having our
40:11roof terrace as a usable space not just for laundry it will be really nice it's just such a lovely spot
40:21beautiful views of the mountains and all the surrounding greenery so yeah i'm really happy
40:29downstairs in the kitchen work is progressing rapidly and after a day with no hitches the fitters have
40:35downed tools so jasmine and john are taking a sneak preview of the units that were once the showroom's
40:41display model oh my gosh yes that is better i love it look at that oh oh it looks so nice
40:56it looks so nice all that's missing it's the worktop it feels like quite a long time ago that we were
41:14looking around kitchen showrooms i vaguely remember being on crutches and probably not paying quite as
41:20much attention as i should do so i had forgotten what the kitchen really looked like so when the
41:26units had been fitted and we were sort of 70 percent there it was impressive it looked good i was like
41:31wow we made the right decision the color is amazing it's beautiful i absolutely like it looks like the
41:41kitchen should be on target while up on the sun terrace jasmine and john's creation has finally come together
41:50it's not bad is it out here i mean you could make so much more of it be careful because it's full
41:56of dirty water oh god now after adding a few finishing touches it's time to find out if it meets expectations
42:09finally yeah and you took out the washing line i've always championed this roof terrace
42:23yes you always like we'll never use it it'll be too hot no we'll use it every single day for hanging
42:28out laundry but you had that clever idea of the um quick release washing line so you're not just a pretty
42:36face are you this is one of my favorite space in the house and i know that it's the one we've spent
42:42the least money on but that is makes it slightly more satisfying yeah exactly i want to reuse all the
42:49old lounges that we got second hand with that bundle of furniture and the table and eight chairs they're
42:57all perfectly all right just new cushions upside from the table was a stroke of genius the wooden table
43:03top i think it looks nice and rustic i'm actually really happy to be able to reuse the stuff that
43:11we already had and it still looks nice i love a fairy line of festoon i still think i could sneak some more
43:18in here in the next few weeks oh knock yourself out whatever floats your boat
43:25actually i think from the initial idea that you had you wanted to make it like chill out ibiza
43:31and i was like no we'll never use it let's just keep it as a laundry area it's kind of a happy
43:36medium isn't it yeah yeah because it's because it's lovely but we can still it can still be practical
43:44laundry i sound like like i'm obsessed with laundry i mean but yeah well i'll openly admit that the speed
43:51at which you could dry clothes up here is amazing but this is way better well done well done you it would
43:58just be a laundry area if it was down to me so it's good that's leprechaun green beautiful color i love
44:12the color is though i share but but yeah it's not it's too bright intensity at the moment so close to the
44:19end is ridiculous well if he doesn't do it on thursday it won't be done in time no no because
44:28he's only got thursday in front it's pushing it already i'm just having to leave it all
44:32all in john's hands i don't it it just couldn't be worse timing really
44:41you'll do it we're fine i think it's pretty touch and go
44:45as to whether everything will be finished on time for the housewarming party it's too close to call
