00:00Everyone is stepping up, businesses, organisations around the community, everyone's bending together
00:08to really do a good clean up around community and ensure that we're prepared as much as
00:13we possibly can.
00:14The tropical lows and possible cyclones is not new to Tiwi, but it's definitely quite
00:23alarming when we don't have a cyclone shelter or anything like that on both islands at the
00:28moment.
00:29It's still, although everyone's calm, it's still, you know, in the back of everyone's
00:34mind, it's making everyone a little bit nervous.
00:36My message is really to know where your family are, to know family, friends.
00:42The community is really good at sticking together anyway.
00:46You know, it's very family orientated.
00:48So making sure you know where people are, making sure that you don't take unnecessary
00:53risks and go out onto marine waters.
00:56You know, the stretcher's already going to be there for emergency services, so let's
01:00not put them under mobile stress.
01:03And really be mindful as you're going around town with the drainage systems and things like
01:10that.
01:10If they are overloaded with water, not to play in them, watch for your power lines being
01:16down and things like that.
01:17So really just to be mindful, you know, if it does pass through and unfortunately, if it
01:23does cause any damage, to really be mindful and stick together.
