00:02Animal welfare and biosecurity is something that we take very seriously and we have for
00:06more than 186 years.
00:08And while we think the risk is very low, we took the decision now out of an abundance
00:11of caution and to make sure that our volunteers and those exhibitors had as much time to prepare
00:16as possible.
00:17We have more than 26,000 competitive entries at the show every year, birds is just a small
00:22part of that.
00:23And obviously we felt that anything we could do to make sure we were as low risk as possible
00:26and also to provide an element of leadership for the industry was the way to go.
