00:00But for the first time this year, we are revealing the official top 10 quarterback rankings in the NFL for this year, 2025-2026, okay?
00:13Now, the only caveat I need to give you about this list is that we have polled some of the greatest football minds in the country, and we just add up their votes.
00:23And these are the results of the votes of 150 different football experts in this country from coast to coast, and it's kept completely anonymous.
00:33That's very thorough.
00:33All right?
00:34Very thorough.
00:35We have five voters in every NFL city, all right?
00:40And then if there's a city that has a couple teams like New York does, like L.A. does, then we double the voters in that city.
00:46There you go.
00:46So, to be fair, New Jersey, New York, that area, had 10 voters.
00:50California had 10 voters.
00:52Kansas City had five voters, all right?
00:55But it's totally anonymous, and the only caveat beyond that is it has nothing to do with your career success.
01:02It is this year and your performance this year and this year alone.
01:08Okay.
01:08Okay?
01:09Mm-hmm.
01:09We'll go 10 up to 1, all right, boys?
01:12The 10th best quarterback in the NFL right now is the starting quarterback of the Detroit Lions, Mr. Jared Goff.
01:20Now, let's be honest.
01:22They are not having the season they thought they were going to have.
01:25They're not.
01:26What are they, 6-4 right now?
01:28Yep.
01:28Okay?
01:29They're obviously knocking on the door of the playoffs, but Jared Goff thus far has thrown for 2,500 yards, 21 touchdowns, and only four interceptions.
01:40Their losses are not because Jared Goff is not having a good year, okay?
01:46Except of the one against the Eagles, where against pressures, 14 pressures, which has always been his weakness.
01:51He was 0 for 12 with two sacks.
01:53Okay.
01:53And unfortunately, his weakness year one is still his weakness.
01:58Yeah, and it's a lot of quarterbacks' weaknesses.
01:59Tom Brady, same thing.
02:00Get pressure on Tom, get pressure on Mahomes, and they don't play at the same level.
02:04All right.
02:04Jared Goff is number 10.
02:06Number nine, and these votes did come in prior to Sunday.
02:10They may have changed if they hadn't.
02:12But Sam Darnold, Sam Darnold is your ninth-best quarterback in football.
02:16Look, he just had a game in which he had four interceptions.
02:19They were still in it.
02:20But they have the ball with a minute to go and a chance to go tie the game or win the game.
02:27As bad as Sam Darnold was, Sam Darnold has had a great year thus far.
02:32His first year in Seattle, not a good year, a great year, 2,500 yards.
02:38And again, his TD interception rate changed dramatically.
02:41He's 17-10 right now, but four of those came in one game.
02:45In one game.
02:45All right, so Sam Darnold is number nine.
02:47Number eight, he's taken a few steps back the last few weeks,
02:51and that offense has Baker Mayfield right now is the eighth-best quarterback in all of football.
02:57He's at 2,300 yards.
03:00He's got 17 touchdowns and three picks.
03:03So his touchdown to pick rate's great, but he has to have more touchdown passes.
03:07And the Tampa Bay offense has sputtered recently.
03:11Now, they're in a division they can't lose, so they're going to be in the playoffs.
03:14They're going to get another home field playoff game, and hopefully they get healthy by then
03:18because they've had a lot of injuries specifically to their wide receiver.
03:21One thing with him is he's taken too many hits this time of year.
03:24You know he's a guy who's a lot of machismo.
03:26He's gotten too brave.
03:27I hope he makes it to the end of the season.
03:29Number seven, and this is the worst he's appeared on anyone's list ever in his entire career,
03:34maybe other than his rookie season.
03:36And I know he just came off a great game with six touchdowns, three rushing, three passing this past weekend.
03:44Josh Allen, the reigning MVP, is seventh on our list.
03:48Just go look at the Buffalo Bills offense.
03:50They benched Keon Coleman this past week because he's not acting like a professional.
03:54Yeah, misdemeanor.
03:55And it was a healthy scratch, and they're tired of it.
03:57Josh Allen probably does more with less, but even he would tell you, has not been great this year,
04:02and they need him to be great.
04:04Coming in at number six, Dak Prescott.
04:07I know the Dallas Cowboys are still trying to get above .500, and that may not happen
04:12because they've been right at or below .500 by a game, but Dak Prescott is having a great year thus far.
04:19He's at 2,600 yards, 21 touchdowns, only six picks.
04:24He's not turning the ball over.
04:25And you can see they have gotten better defensively now.
04:29When you have Pickens and CeeDee Lamb on the field together, that's unstoppable.
04:33Do not sleep on the Dak Prescott Cowboys making a little run.
04:37They have the Eagles this weekend.
04:38So if they're going to make a run, it starts against Philly this weekend.
04:41Yes, they have Philly and then the Chiefs.
04:43So these two games will decide their season right there.
04:46You'll know everything you need to know about the Dallas Cowboys.
04:47It's a good point.
04:48Number five, my guy, Lamar Action Jackson, fully back from the hamstring, was terrible.
04:55For three and a half quarters against the Cleveland Browns, but when they needed a big play and a big score late in that game, somehow, some way he got it.
05:04And now that he's three weeks back from the hamstring and they've won four consecutive games, you're about to see MVP Lamar Jackson.
05:12But even with that, I'm being honest, and the voters coast to coast are being honest, Lamar Jackson right now, the fifth best quarterback in the NFL.
05:21This is the lowest he's been on the list in quite a while as well because overall hasn't been a great season so far for him.
05:26And he's never been behind the guy that's at number four.
05:29Coming in at number four, a comeback player of the year for sure.
05:34If he doesn't play another snap this year, former New York Giants quarterback, Mr. Daniel Jones.
05:41Say what you want about Danny Jones.
05:43The Colts are a potential one seed.
05:46It's them and the Patriots right now.
05:48And if you watch any Colts games, and I don't, but I watch them on Red Zone every time they're going in for a score.
05:54They're winning games because of Daniel Jones, not in spite of him.
06:00They also have a great running back, of course, to Jonathan Taylor.
06:02But Daniel Jones is the man, and he is the fourth best quarterback in football today.
06:08This is the first one where I'm going, ah, 15 to 7 as far as touchdowns to interceptions.
06:14Yep.
06:14He's handing the ball off in every important spot.
06:17I think you may look back at this one.
06:20This is, yes, 150 voters coast to coast that work for the Cardinals.
06:23All right, that brings us to number three.
06:26Now, you could argue this one.
06:27He should be higher maybe on some people's boards.
06:29But how can you argue that Drake May right now is not playing like a top three quarterback in the NFL?
06:35He's doing everything and then some.
06:37He's getting great coaching, obviously.
06:39Both McDaniels, the coordinator, and Mike Vrabel.
06:42And the Patriots offense is bludgeoning people.
06:45They are putting their foot on people's necks and putting them out of their misery.
06:49The only caveat is they don't play anybody good.
06:52They will have two wins at the end of the season against teams over 500.
06:57But that's not his fault.
06:59He's balling out Drake Mays, number three.
07:00He's currently the leader.
07:01It completes the percentage yards and, most importantly, yards per attempt.
07:05He's somehow being super accurate while getting chunk plays.
07:08You can make an argument that he should be first.
07:102,800 yards, 20 touchdowns, five picks.
07:14The numbers are MVP less, okay?
07:17Brings us to number two.
07:19Number two, 27 touchdowns, two interceptions, and 2,600 yards.
07:27Matthew Stafford, who is having an MVP quality season.
07:31And the reason the Rams right now are the number one seed in the NFC.
07:35I mean, he's been tremendous.
07:36You're talking about a guy who's 37 years old, had to deal with all those Lions years where he got just yards.
07:41This is his best season so far at 37, and he's back on track to perhaps set some records.
07:48And correct, he has his record over 500 after all those Lions years.
07:52He's doing great.
07:53He might be the best quarterback, but on this list, he's number two.
07:56Yeah.
07:57Which means that there's a chance that Patrick Mahomes is not on this list.
08:00There's a chance right now that Jordan Love's not on this list.
08:04Jackson Dart's not on this list.
08:06A lot of good quarterbacks.
08:07Some of them are going to get left out because there's only one spot left.
08:10And the number one quarterback right now on this list is a guy that is currently completing 67% of his passes.
08:21He has thrown for just under 2,000 yards.
08:26He has only thrown one interception the entire year.
08:32And he's got 16 passing touchdowns to go along with a boatload of rushing touchdowns as well.
08:40The number one quarterback in the NFL today, according to 150 NFL experts, is the embattled current Super Bowl MVP, Mr. Jalen Hurts, everybody.
08:58That's what I'm talking about out there.
09:00When you get the experts involved and you cut out people like our producer Ethan and people like that, the haters, and you just go to the football people.
09:08That's it.
09:09It's a clear answer.
09:10Yep.
09:11Jalen Hurts is number one.
09:13When they trust him to throw it, he throws it well.
09:16That's right.
09:16He doesn't turn it over.
09:18He's the complete quarterback.
09:20Jalen Hurts, number one.
09:22Let's pray.
09:41Go ahead.
