00:00Look ahead to some of the snow that has fallen here. This mostly coming from yesterday. Gosh, really just taking over the entire state of Vermont. We see another report here. Just a trace of snow outside of the Syracuse area. It disappears. And that's because it was less than 24 hours ago. We have seen the winter weather advisories. Those have expired this morning and some of those stormier conditions moving back across the Midwest today with rain, thunderstorms and that thin layer of rain and snow that we've been tracking.
00:30For this morning, that may be slowing you down a bit. New York City. I mean, the sun's shining, but it's a chilly sunshine. 48 degrees for a high, which is below that historical average of 54 this time of year. Showers into D.C. raining in Columbus. The rain moves into Pittsburgh with temperatures only into the 40s. A cold rain. Nothing quite worse than that. All right. We take you into future radar and clouds where the heavier precipitation is going to stay further south. We'll talk about West Virginia and Kentucky, even where we've been dealing with thunderstorms.
00:59Meanwhile, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, you'll get another round of precipitation through late tonight. And there may be just enough cold air for a transition back over to snow early tomorrow morning across the northern tier of Pennsylvania.
01:11Then by Wednesday afternoon, we are dry. It's probably one of the nicer days we've had in quite some time here. Not going to be as much wind. And we'll still have some clouds sticking around, but no precipitation to contend with, at least by the afternoon. Again, some may still be dealing with that early tomorrow morning.
01:27Thursday will be a dry day as well, but a chillier air mass takes over, especially eastern Pennsylvania to New Jersey and across most of New England.
01:35And the next storm starts to make its way in from the west. But out ahead of that, temperatures start to come back on up.
01:41So Pittsburgh, 49 Wednesday, 51 Thursday, mid 50s by Friday. D.C. will be close to 60 degrees by Friday.
01:48And even New York City and Boston get back into the 50s by the end of the week.
01:53All right. So in the northeast, we just can't break the chill in the south central. It's like we can't break the heat.
01:59No, we can't break it. What will eventually break it a little bit is rain. And we have plenty of that on the way.
