00:00Hey, it's Coop from Big 98.1, live aboard the incredible Disney Destiny.
00:04Remember, you can win your very own vacation. Just go to Big98.1.com.
00:07I'm here with Jim Cummings, who I guarantee you know who he is.
00:11Maybe not by the face, but you'll certainly recognize his voice.
00:15Jim, thank you so much for the time today.
00:18One of the voices that you do is Winnie the Pooh,
00:20and I wonder if Winnie the Pooh has had a chance to experience the ship
00:24and what Winnie's thoughts are.
00:25Oh, gosh, you know what?
00:26You know what? Let me ask him.
00:28Big, can't you tell me?
00:29Oh, well, thank you for asking, because, you see, I think it's just lovely.
00:35The view is very wonderful,
00:37and although I can't see the hundred-acre wood from here,
00:42but they do have plenty of honey.
00:45They do have honey, that is for sure.
00:46We've got plenty of sunshine, too.
00:48Hercules, we saw the show last night.
00:51It was absolutely incredible.
00:52I wonder if Hercules knows where the fitness center is,
00:55perhaps a gym on this ship, maybe?
00:57I'm sure Hercules does, but Nessus, the big blue centaur, definitely does.
01:04I've been working out.
01:05I've been lifting Rhode Island all day.
01:08Oh, I believe it.
01:09And we went to Pride Lands, which, of course, Ed the Hyena,
01:13another one of those boys.
01:14That is absolutely incredible.
01:22Absolutely incredible.
01:23Unbelievable.
01:24I hope you were prepared.
01:28That is, by the way, Coop, it's a law.
01:30When a bad guy sings a song,
01:32he has to do an evil laugh at the end of it.
01:34Can you teach me how to do a proper evil laugh?
01:37I'll show you what I got.
01:38I'm going to come up with one now, and you tell me.
01:40Okay, here we go.
01:41Whoa.
01:44Okay, that sucked.
01:46What do I do?
01:47That was pretty good.
01:48That was pretty good.
01:48That was pretty good.
01:49No, you know, I found out the secret a long time ago is get rid of most of the air
01:54because it's tempting to go.
01:55And then you end up sounding kind of like Bill Farmer's Goofy.
02:01And we don't know what.
02:02That's not.
02:03It's just not evil.
02:04Right.
02:04You're right.
02:05It's the opposite of evil.
02:06But if you blow out all the air, and then you leak.
02:10All right, let me see where I can do it.
02:11Okay, let's see what we can do.
02:15Getting more evil all the time, ladies and gentlemen.
02:19Hot tips from Jim Cummings, everybody.
02:21Now we know how to be mischievous when we want to, right?
02:24Absolutely.
02:25You can go from all these different voices.
02:27Is there one that is your absolute favorite that you've ever done?
02:32Well, I have to tell you, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.
02:35You know, Tigger, they're wonderful things.
02:36I don't know if I told you that.
02:38And Darkwing, the terror that flaps in the night.
02:42He's way up there.
02:43And then I have to tell you, Ray, from Bridges and the Frog,
02:46you know, because the women, they love a man with a big back porch.
02:50And if you wanted to go to a galaxy long, long ago, far, far away,
02:58you would run into my dear friend, Hotdur Naka.
03:02And I have good news for you.
03:04Give me all of your money, and I will invest it for you.
03:08You're welcome.
03:09It's absolutely incredible.
03:11As a fan of all of those characters, I just have to, do you just, is there,
03:16do you just sit around and create a voice?
03:17How does that process work?
03:19Gosh, I don't know.
03:20I can tell you that I've done things, these are really inside info here.
03:27I hope you understand.
03:28Yeah.
03:29But, no, I've done impressions of my Aunt Grace, God love her, and my Uncle Sam.
03:36And my Uncle Sam was good if it needed a dragon or somebody like that.
03:41Sounds a little bit like Sam Elliott.
03:42Yeah.
03:43Yeah, the wrong Sam.
03:44But, and then, one of my favorite guys is Hondo Onaka.
03:50And if you, well, first of all, I've always said,
03:54if you do a perfect impression of someone famous, that's good.
03:57And if you do a terrible impression of someone famous,
03:59nobody even knows what you're doing, that's good.
04:01You have a new character.
04:02Right.
04:03And I put two characters together, like Charles Bronson and Yul Brynner.
04:07And that is where I came up with Hondo.
04:10Wow.
04:10So, you put two famous people together, kind of mix them up,
04:13and there you have it.
04:16But just don't tell anybody.
04:18No, no, I won't tell anybody.
04:19Okay, good.
04:20Rather than the people that, the million people that I was in, right?
04:22Oh, okay.
04:22Well, that's good.
04:23We'll keep it in the house.
04:25Jim, thank you so much.
04:26You put smiles on so many people's faces with your voice.
04:29We appreciate all that you do.
04:30And thank you for the memories that all the kids,
04:32a grown man now who's grown up with Tigger and Winnie the Pooh and all of that.
04:35Thank you so much for all that you do, man.
04:37We really appreciate you.
04:38God bless, Coop.
04:38Thank you very much for having me.
