00:00Hey, it's Coop for Big981, live aboard the Disney Destiny, and you have got to, whatever you're doing right now, stop it, go to Big981.com, enter to win your very own cruise aboard this ship because it is immaculate, it's incredible, and the kids are going to have a great time.
00:15How do I know this? Because my three kids are aboard the Disney Destiny right now, and it's funny, I'm with Andres, who we talked to yesterday, now my kids are 12, 10, and 7, okay, so we've got a big little range there of ages, and we went to Pride Lands last night, it was so fun.
00:29And we thought maybe the kids would want to stick with us tonight because we took them to Disney's Oceaneer Club, and the older ones went to Edge, and as soon as we were done with dinner, they said, we want to go to the kids' clubs right now.
00:41Really? You just want to leave us? But that's how much fun it is, so let's start with the Oceaneer, Disney Oceaneer Club, and all of the things that it has to offer.
00:49Definitely. Hi, Coop, how are you doing? And yes, as you say, there's a lot of things to do for the kids, so let's start with the Oceaneer's Club.
00:55So the Oceaneer's Club is a club that's for kids 3 years old, up to 10 years old, and the way you get into the club is you slide, you go through a slide, and the slide ends inside the club, which is amazing.
01:08And the club is divided in multiple areas, so it has an area for superheroes, which is Marvel Superheroes Academy, where your kids are going to be able to train as the next generation of heroes.
01:19So cool.
01:19Alongside Spider-Man, Ant-Man, or the Black Panther. Then you also have Star Wars Cargo Bay, so this is another area that's themed to the movie Star Wars, or the nine movies of Star Wars.
01:30Yeah, right.
01:31And basically what you do is you're able to train on how to handle creatures from other galaxies, so it's pretty, pretty cool.
01:40And then for girls, there's also an area that's called Fairytale Hall.
01:45Fairytale Hall is divided into three different spaces, one themed to Frozen, another one themed to Rapunzel, and another one themed to Belle from the Beauty and the Beast.
01:55Lastly, there's also another space for the kids who are more into technology and science and want to learn more, which is the Imagineers Lab.
02:04And the Imagineers Lab has a simulator where you can design your own roller coaster and then get to ride it yourself, so it's pretty cool.
02:12I know all about that because it's all that my 10-year-old was talking about, about how he made this roller coaster and then got to ride the roller coaster.
02:18So, I mean, it is incredible.
02:21Edge, which is where my son and daughter, who are 12 and 10, went to.
02:25And had a phenomenal time there.
02:26Tell me about that.
02:27Yeah, so the Edge is a space for a little bit of, for mostly the tweens, so 11 years old to 14 years old.
02:33And it's designed as a New York loft.
02:36And it's pretty cool because all the kids will go there.
02:39There's activities that are regulated by counselors, by trained counselors from Disney.
02:43So they get to do a lot of activities, hang out together, get to know and make new friends.
02:48And it's just a great space for people, for kids of the same ages to be and hang out together.
02:54And then finally, you have Vibe, which is for those teenagers, right?
02:58That is correct.
02:58So Vibe is on the 12th deck of the ship, which is one of the most upper decks in the ship.
03:05And it's basically for kids that are between 14 years old and 17 years old.
03:11So if you have a kid that's 14, they can choose to go either to the Edge or go to the Vibe.
03:16And this space is also for the, yeah, as I said, older kids.
03:20They have games for them to play.
03:22They meet each other.
03:23They can go in and out of the club.
03:25So you will see all the teenagers once they meet together.
03:28You'll see them roaming around the ship, going back into the space and having a lot of fun.
03:33And I got to tell you, if you're a parent listening to this right now, you're probably, because this is my first cruise, you're probably thinking what I thought.
03:38My kids, maybe you're going to go in for a little bit and then they're going to want mom and dad back.
03:42They don't. They don't because not only is it so much fun because it's Disney and it's magic and it's amazing, but the people that you have there are trained for that.
03:50And, okay, so let's talk about the younger, younger ones, because I guarantee right now there's someone listening and they're going, I've got a toddler.
03:55They're not going to want to be around those older kids.
03:58What do I do?
03:59Definitely. So there's a service that the ship offers, which is it's a small world nursery.
04:04And that's a space for toddlers that are between six months old to three years old.
04:10And so they go to that space.
04:13You can reserve times that you want to leave your kids with the Disney counselors.
04:18And then you can go and have some time with your spouse and be able to have some adult time.
04:23Well, that's what it's all about.
04:24The kids making their memories, mom and dad.
04:25They want to maybe go have a cocktail, go enjoy a show or whatever it is so that everybody can have a phenomenal time and make memories and dreams come true aboard the Disney Destiny.
04:34Andres, thank you so much.
04:35Thank you very much, Coop.
