Disney Chats Live Entertainment in The Grand Hall aboard the Disney Treasure

00:00It's Coop with Big981 here on the beautiful, the stunning Disney Treasure,

00:04which is the latest cruise line from Disney, and this place is absolutely unbelievable.

00:09All right, so I'm with Ben, who's with the live entertainment team at Disney.

00:12Before we get into the entertainment, which is what Disney's known for,

00:15right, can we talk about all the things around us right now?

00:17It's Aladdin and Jasmine behind us. Talk to me about this.

00:20It's insane. This is the Grand Hall, right? This is the kind of heart of the entire ship.

00:25And when you walk in, this is the first thing you see.

00:28So it opens up and, I mean, first impressions are everything.

00:31And this is Agrabah. I mean, this is coming into Agrabah.

00:34This is the characters kind of coming out of the architecture.

00:36Of course, the unmistakable statue. And what this really is, I mean,

00:40if you're going to start to think kind of entertainment or imaginary terms,

00:43this is the promise of what the next seven days are.

00:45And the promise is adventure, intrigue, romance.

00:49It's kind of everything wrapped in one.

00:51You know you're off to a good start when you walk into this Grand Hall.

00:53So the first thing I noticed when I came in, obviously, is this big chandelier.

00:56And I don't know if you can hand up to see that thing or not, but it is unbelievable.

01:00And there's some really cool special touches, Disney touches, that I could talk about.

01:05We'll talk about that at a later time. You've got Aladdin behind you.

01:07You've got a stage right here. And that's your thing, right?

01:09Live entertainment. Can you talk to me about what kind of things

01:10happen on this stage when you come into the Grand Hall?

01:12Listen, like you said, Disney's known for live entertainment.

01:14And we're used to seeing it in the theater.

01:16We go to the Walt Disney Theater and we see our incredible shows.

01:18Beauty and the Beast, our Seize the Adventure show,

01:20and the new one we're debuting, Moana.

01:23But also, it doesn't end there.

01:25We now, on the Treasure, extend our entertainment out into the various spaces of the ship.

01:30And we're introducing two new characters on this ship.

01:33World travelers that get on board with you.

01:34Their name are Coriander and Sage.

01:36And they're unpacking their bags the first day.

01:38You see them here in the Grand Hall, unpacking their bags.

01:41And story items are coming out.

01:42You're going to see them throughout the seven days, kind of unpack stories,

01:45these found objects from these steamer trunks.

01:47And you may even see them in the Sarabi Lounge, our kind of hidden,

01:52secret space, where they're going to tell a tale for adults.

01:56A nightclub show that is all five Indiana Jones adventures in a madcap comedy act.

02:02It's the first time we're really taking an Indiana Jones adventure to the stage.

02:05Wow, that's incredible.

02:06Yeah.

02:06Do you have something, obviously, you're here for the seven day cruise.

02:09There's a lot to take in.

02:11Yeah.

02:11Moana.

02:12There's just, there's so many things that you can take in.

02:14Do you have something for you that's your personal favorite?

02:16Well, I'm partial to an Indiana Jones show.

02:18I mean, for me, Indiana Jones is adventure.

02:21And again, that's what this ship is.

02:23But really, you can't go wrong.

02:25I mean, imagine going out, going to one of our incredible restaurants,

02:28which were infused with story and live entertainment,

02:30going to see a show at Coco with mariachi dancers,

02:34then going to see the tale of Moana.

02:38And then afterwards, as you're wandering through the ship,

02:40going to get a nightcap for our older cruisers in the Sarabi Supper Club,

02:45the Sarabi Lounge, and seeing an Indiana Jones comedy.

02:48I mean, for me, that's like, that's everything.

02:50It's everything, you're right.

02:51And then we even got a chance to see the Haunted Mansion.

02:53Oh, man.

02:54I mean, it's just, Disney thinks of everything.

02:56Yeah.
