00:00with Milton Williams, Keefe.
00:01Let's say he's back, he's healthy,
00:03they're ready to go for the postseason.
00:05Is it a championship-caliber defense with Milton Williams?
00:07Yeah, I think it is.
00:09You know, that's another thing from this weekend
00:10watching all the other teams.
00:12It's not just, you know, the skill position, guys.
00:13It's also watching all the defenses,
00:15and some certainly a lot better than others.
00:17I don't think the Buffalo defense, for example,
00:19staying in the division and your one true rival,
00:21I don't think there are any great shakes.
00:22Good point.
00:23I think you could make the argument here
00:25where the schedule comes in
00:26and they haven't exactly played a murderer's row.
00:29I get it.
00:29So, them being fifth in points allowed.
00:32All right.
00:33Like, you've played some bad quarterbacks.
00:35Okay.
00:35But you've also played 11 games.
00:37This isn't just, like, three games against Cam Ward.
00:40Like, you've played 11 games.
00:41And their run defense, Williams is a huge part of that,
00:43but their run defense has shut people down all year.
00:45And great running backs.
00:46Like, legitimately great running backs
00:48have been held to under 50 yards.
00:50They obviously have that opening drive thing,
00:53which is bizarre,
00:54but they've been able to overcome it
00:56just about every single time.
00:57Even in, like, their loss against the Steelers.
01:01Like, not really putting that on the defense
01:03when the offense turns it over five times.
01:05So, I've liked what I've seen from the defense.
01:07I think, especially if Milt Williams comes back,
01:09between Williams and Barmore,
01:11that's as good of a duo on the defensive line,
01:14probably in the league.
01:15Gonzalez and Davis.
01:18I've been a little underwhelmed with Davis,
01:19but I still love that cornerback duo.
01:22I thought they could have maybe improved
01:24a little bit more at safety at the deadline.
01:25They chose not to do that,
01:26but a lot of people felt like edge rusher.
01:29And you saw Jalen Phillips again last night
01:30was a absolute monster for Philly.
01:33These two games since they got him.
01:34Oh, he's been awesome.
01:35Yeah, but the Pats just don't have a lot of depth there,
01:36but, like, the guys that they play are good.
01:38Like, I have no problem with the guys right now
01:39that are out there.
01:40So, no, one of the many reasons for the turnaround,
01:44right, like, it's go from 4-13 to 9-2.
01:48Yeah, a lot of it's Drake May,
01:49but it can't all be Drake May.
01:50Like, this defense is dramatically different.
01:53So, yeah, I think it's a championship defense.
