00:04And I just find that so unsatisfactory in a year where I think, again,

00:09the AFC is wide open and to not deviate from your plan.

00:12The plan you came up with when, what, we'd be happy with nine wins

00:17in the playoffs, we'd be ecstatic about ten wins in the playoffs,

00:20and you're ahead of schedule.

00:22You're doing great.

00:23You guys are on to something.

00:24I acknowledge all those things.

00:25Yeah.

00:26But this idea that we can't deviate from our plan that we came up with

00:29in April, why not?

00:32For a sixth-round pick and a rental player or a fourth-round pick

00:36and a rental player, that is not going to change the overall trajectory.

00:41You're not ruining your future, mortgaging your future to be all in this year.

00:46We're talking about like a fourth or a fifth or maybe a sixth-round pick.

00:50That is not mortgaging anything to try to win this year and reward your team,

00:55reward your fans, reward yourselves for being ahead of schedule

00:58and not being willing to deviate from that or alter your thinking in any way,

01:04shape, or form to me is really, really, really frustrating and annoying.

01:08I would have been mad about it but not as mad if they even just kept Keyon White

01:13and Kyle Duggar because then you'd be like, well, they didn't sell.

01:16They just kind of stood pat and they sort of took their team.

01:18Maybe the asset prices were too high or maybe they just felt good with the group

01:23and they moved on.

01:24But the fact that you peeled off a couple of players, and I know they weren't starters.

01:28Don't get me wrong.

01:29I know they weren't the best fit and neither you or I even really like them.

01:32But you're swapping those guys out for practice squad guys.

01:36That seems like you're taking away from the team.

01:38And then you have a week to go for the deadline.

01:40And it's probably not the same thing as like the baseball deadline where there are 100 moves

01:45and every team that's contending is like, all right, who did we add?

01:48Who did we add?

01:49And you see every team around you add, you know, relief pitchers or in the case of the Mariners,

01:54two big bats.

01:54Like, it's not like that.

01:56But still, you knew you had a few days to add to the team and also show some belief in the team too.

02:03And you choose not to do it.

02:05And we've seen already this year.

02:06They've been relatively fortunate, I would say, injury-wise, where their depth hasn't been tested.

02:12However, it started to pile up a touch.

02:14Stevenson, Booty, even our guy Christian Ellis, the only real injury they've dealt with this year,

02:18and it was a significant one, was Gonzo to start the year.
