00:00I'm trying out the Magic Quiche.
00:01This is more of a formula that came from Julia Child,
00:04and if you memorize it, you can make any quiche you want.
00:07You crack three eggs into a two-cup measure.
00:09Give those a little whisk.
00:10Now all you do is add enough liquid
00:12until it reaches one and a half cups.
00:14So no matter what, this is the ratio.
00:16It's three eggs plus however much milk you need
00:18to make one and a half cups.
00:19All right, let's see if it works.
00:21I'm just doing ham and cheese.
00:22I've got some green onions.
00:23I guess you just eyeball the fillings
00:25to whatever would fit in your pie plate.
00:27In goes the Magic Ratio.
00:28Which is damn near perfect.
00:32Just in case.
00:34400 degrees for 30 minutes.
00:36Looks pretty perfect.
00:38Probably could have cut that back a few minutes.
00:39I'm gonna let it stand before we slice it.
00:42Oh, I be darned.
00:43How does it taste?
00:46That's a perfect quiche.
00:47That actually is quite magical.
