00:49As you can see you it can get a little dusty

00:53We are currently under the House of Blues

00:56In Chicago and there's like seven layers of stairs and we are in the subterranean level where it is quite dirty

01:05But yeah, welcome. My name is Garrett. Our band is called Silent Planet. I believe we've done one with you

01:12This will be our second. We're still not in a bus, but it's closer to a bus than the last time

01:18Somewhere between a van and a bus here in this very unique one-of-a-kind bandwagon. So welcome

01:24Here's our television

01:28We've been watching some some like 80s 90s horror movies this tour a bit

01:34It gets used on occasion. It's also has a ghost that operates it because it turns on randomly at night

01:40Like three or four times every single night

01:43Basically every time we wake up it's on because the ghost watches it

01:47Um, and there's really weird stuff that the ghost watches. But anyways, um, yeah, we got, uh

01:53We so most bandwagons would have like a kitchen, but we actually just have a lot of seating

02:00Um, we have so much vinyl with us on this tour that we're using this for like storage

02:06We got our fan to try to suck the dust out of the air. We got our soccer ball

02:11um, which, uh

02:14Big fan of kicking around the football

02:16Um, we have oh looks like we do have a I I don't I haven't seen anyone play yet

02:23But we do have a nintendo switch we got we got cubbies for the whole squad

02:28um, there is like sneaky storage

02:34That under these seats

02:36We got a bunch of super bloom vinyl

02:39I think i'm supposed to sign this

02:42And uh, I our daily food buyouts go into these different things. So hey look

02:49I got my lunch money. So this is my cubby. Uh, I got some coats which I haven't had to use yet

02:57Because the weather's awesome. I got my airborne my vitamin c. That's the most important

03:05I got my fiber because sometimes pooping's cool

03:13I got a people's history of the united states by howards and more important than ever to read in these times

03:19It's really cool. He tells the story of

03:23What history looks like not just from the eyes of the kings and the generals

03:26But what like a common person's life would have been like in different times of history

03:32I got a nebulizer in my hydration packets like inhaled salt water

03:39love that

03:43I got a brief history of everything by ken wilbur my roommate levi gave this to me

03:48And I just got started race in the cosmos. I have not read this yet

03:53But I'm excited to

03:56That's some you know some digestive aids. I think there's a there's a tummy

04:02Motif that's occurring and my show clothes

04:05I wear this every day and it stinks for sure

04:09Our team I think specifically our merch gal

04:12Destiny and alex like decorated this put up led lights

04:17Even when we make it dark we got kind of like a nightclub vibe going on in here

04:22We usually keep it pretty dark in here

04:24You know this is actually a rare thing in the kitchen

04:30It looks like we have some beer

04:31The reason this is rare is I always joke that you'll never find a beer on our bandwagon

04:36Like no one in our band really drinks. We're not like

04:39We're not like anti-drinking. We're not straight-edge even

04:42We just I don't know no one really ever drinks

04:44So I swear this is like the first time I've ever seen beer on our bandwagon

04:48But hey look at that we got beer on our bandwagon

04:52We got a lot of coffee. This looks like kind of like the Japanese you see this a lot in Japan

04:56It's kind of black coffees. We do have a lot of coffee on the bandwagon for sure

05:01We stay stocked on bananas absolutely

05:07I got some sunflowers

05:09I think I'm gonna throw these in the crowd tonight

05:12When we play our song wick

05:14No, I I don't do tea, you know, I know a lot of singers like swear by tea

05:19I I never really I never really got much out of it

05:23I'm not much of a tea person unless if I'm like in a lot of pain, but

05:28We do have a we usually have a lot of

05:30I don't know if this is it

05:31We should have a lot of vegan protein bars because our bassist is vegan and he loves his protein so

05:38We got that um, we got like a we got some spooky Halloween

05:44uh decorations this was on the wall, but um something about a bandwagon is when it's driving

05:51You're basically doing this the whole time like that meme of the kid the sunglasses in the club

05:57So uh that was falling off the wall, but yeah, we got a fridge over here. Uh

06:02I don't know what what do we got? We got some arizona iced tea. We got a red bull

06:07We got a coke wow

06:08We even got a claw look at that always a lot of usually have a lot of protein drinks in there

06:13Blueberries big fan of trying to have antioxidants as much as possible

06:17And I think the thing we have the most of is uncrustables. We have an insane amount of uncrustables because

06:24They are vegan and even the non-vegans everyone likes them. So lots of uncrustables up in here

06:30Um, normally this is a junk buck, but we have such a full wagon that we are sleeping

06:36So we got our driver

06:39John he sleeps in the in that area and then we have one two three four five six seven eight

06:44We got eight bunks and then we actually have someone else who sometimes sleeps on this couch

06:50His name is josh. He's in reflections, but he also sometimes rides with us because he's also attacking for us

06:55So we will at any given point have like 10 people in this place, which is wild

07:01um

07:02I just want to point out how much nick loves his plant-based protein

07:05He gives so much protein and what do we got? We even got creatine in here. Whoa

07:10Uh, big gains. We got a snack cupboard up in here. Uh, always talkies lots of talkies

07:17Um, it gives gives us something to talk about, but no seriously dudes love talkies

07:23This looks like dog food, but I think it's beef sticks. I don't know. I oh gummy bears

07:29This is I I don't know where this came from they're hiding it from me because

07:34Uh, when i'm not on tour. I'm a total sugar fiend

07:37Uh, when i'm on tour, I don't really allow myself to eat sugar because inflammation is my enemy

07:43Uh, so yeah

07:44Um, I do sometimes we we get a lot of protein bars. Sometimes people are really kind and they give us protein bars

07:51I'll eat that from time to time

07:53We even got some honey

07:56Even though I don't know I I don't use this if I ever do get honey. I try to get the manuka honey. That stuff's so good

08:01Uh, highly recommend it for singers who have scratchy voices

08:07We got our microwave

08:08Uh, true story our sound guy newly set this bandwagon on fire a couple days ago in philly he uh

08:17There was like a he had a burrito wrapped in paper and he didn't realize that there was foil under the paper

08:22And so he pulled it out and there's literally two large balls of fire that got thrown out

08:27But true story uh that almost took this whole thing down

08:31These are I think these are thornhill dice actually. Yeah, so these are these are thornhill die

08:36from our homies

08:37Which I think we get to see them tomorrow in minneapolis because they're on tour sleep token like some small band playing arenas or something

08:43Um, so uh, they're yeah, they're playing with sleep token and we're playing in minnesota

08:48So like two people will go to our show and two million will go to the other and I think we're gonna hang out with them

08:53But yeah, I uh, we did a tour with them last year

08:56And I think ever since they kind of have been our lucky die. We I think we hang them every time

09:00We got a little privacy curtain. I don't know why. Oh, I think we do this for our buddy josh who sleeps here

09:06To block it out. But yeah, so this has been the living room. Uh, let's now show you the bunk alley

09:14So as you'll see normally these are like white bright lights

09:18But we put like orange or red gaff tape on them to kind of make them more of a vibe

09:23Um, everyone has like a fan and a light and a little power station

09:30And they're gone

09:32Bumps bunks. Uh, this is mine. Uh, this is my magical lucky blanket

09:37It's gone everywhere with me since like 2017

09:40I I don't know why I it looks like the kind of thing I would have had since I was a baby

09:45But I actually just like found it at my friend's house in like 2016 and he gave it to me

09:50I I like to pretend that it's my childhood blanket though. It kind of looks like it would be it's great

09:56Yeah, so bunk selection. I

09:59I think that middle or bottom is most popular

10:03I

10:05I think that I can't do top bunks because we I've once tried to do a top bunk

10:10And I found that like the movement was making me a little carsick

10:14um, I think our top bunk squad's doing fine with it, but um

10:19Yeah, i've also heard of people falling out of them that that would suck. I I don't know though

10:24These are fairly big. I I can't imagine falling out of them, but they have a nice little blackout curtain. So

10:31Honestly, I I get kind of spoiled on tour like you get home and you're like oh sunlight like it's nice

10:36You never have the sunlight with these you just

10:39Just black it out and you're good to go

10:42Um, but yeah moving on we got we got this nice little throw rug trying to like

10:48Limit dust we have our little shoe rack that everyone can hang their shoes

10:54and

10:55Like I'll like every once in a while like this will just fall off in the middle of the night

10:59We'll wake up to like a million shoes, but otherwise a pretty good time. Wow. This is clever

11:05It looks like our videographer has like a little ipad station, which is pretty sick

11:11Um people got clever stuff nick's got a really cool eye mask for when he sleeps. That's pretty awesome

11:18But yeah, we got we got a lot of a lot of uh little sleeping devices

11:23We have the pee room which smells like pee

11:26Don't hide with could recommend it too much and we got a little bit of fuse boxes over here, I guess

11:32And that is the oh man

11:38That is the pee room uh

11:40fun fact uh one time

11:43I hired someone to drive a bandwagon for my friends

11:48In day seeker and on day one that person pooped in the pee toilet

11:54Which I I guess you know maybe I yeah, I thought he knew he didn't know

11:58Uh, so you don't poop in the pee toilet. Um, that can be a that's that that's a big no-no

12:06Um, which is kind of fun to talk about in Chicago because this of course is the city of the infamous John Mayer bridge incident

12:34That we don't want that happening here in Chicago here. We have

12:38My favorite room actually which is this is the sink room

12:43with

12:44Well, it will be all show you in a sec. We got a shower behind it, but um, yeah

12:47Destiny really made this like a spooky vibe. It's pretty cool like when you're in here

12:52It's just and this is where I do my vocal warm-ups every single day

12:56I don't know. I just love this room. I feel like I spend I spend more time in this room than anywhere

13:01We got this cool rug. Yeah, this is all props to our merch gal destiny

13:05She really made this made this place sick. You even got like cool little towels in there

13:10Some storage

13:12Um

13:13We got a candle

13:16We have some dude wipes

13:19And then yeah, like you we have a um, there's a shower in here

13:23Uh, I've never used the shower

13:25Uh, we've rented this for like almost two years now

13:28And I've never used the shower. I'm afraid of the shower

13:31I probably look like someone that would say that too

13:33But no, I just I think like I can't help but to not open my mouth and like gargle

13:39That's part of part of being in the shower for me is like enjoying the water

13:44In that way, and this is the kind of water you do not want to get in your mouth is my understanding

13:49So knowing that I I can't be restrained in a shower. I just don't use it. I've never used it

13:56Um, and yeah, that probably says a lot more about me than the shower

14:00But uh, never have used that shower before I'll use the venue shower from time to time

14:06But yeah, the we got the bunk alley we got the we got the the tiny kitchen

14:11I this is this is a weird bandwagon. Uh, this is a one-of-a-kind bandwagon that um

14:18Used to be the skullcandy uh bandwagon on warp tour where folks could have like a

14:23Um, like they would try to sell I think skullcandy earphones inside of here and people could like have little listening parties or something

14:31I'm not totally sure how it worked, but they I think they would open their doors to the public for this

14:35So in a way this might be the most

14:38More people have been in this bandwagon

14:40Potentially than any other bandwagon in history due to the way that skullcandy used to use it

14:46Um, but yeah now it's now we rent it and um, it's been really good to us

14:51Sometimes it's kind of I like to go gremlin mode

14:54I get really excited after shows and I still have like energy

14:58And so I like to climb in it because it's a really easy bandwagon to kind of like climb around

15:04I can just sort of like go from from part of it to part of it and even this like

15:10It's a very sturdy bandwagon you can like

15:13Kind of just like hang on it. So like we'll be like driving and I'll just kind of like

15:22You know just kind of like do some um, do some parkour in here, but uh

15:27This has been your bandwagon tour of

15:35We've been living in this pretty much for all of 2024 and 2025. I hope you've enjoyed

15:40Also, by the way the ceilings really really soft. I know that because quite frequently got

15:47Hit my head with it and it's it's not it's not a bad time

15:50But yeah, um, I'm glad you're here. I think you know, we've done this before with the van

15:55But that van well, we've had a few vans and then a van flipped and we almost died and now we use bandwagons

16:01And we have thankfully this one hasn't flipped yet because this would be pretty wild upside down

16:06But yeah
