00:00This is a cheetah print monster energy hat, pretty swag.
00:05If you see us next tour and we have a cooler, please yell at us.
00:36What's up Bus Invaders, we're SirEcho, we're on tour with ShyEye and Ally Nicholas and we
00:40just put out our debut EP.
00:41Let's check out our ride.
00:43This is the, this is Big Momma, alright, and this is where I sit.
00:49My name is Amelia, this is Jeremy, he's getting comfy for sleep, and to sleep while driving.
00:55We've got a towel here, we have Starbucks from before, we have face masks.
01:03These are nice when the AC is really hectic in the car.
01:06We have purified water for humidifiers.
01:10So we went to an Indian grocery store yesterday, which was really sick, and I got these chips,
01:17potato sticks.
01:21Everybody knows and loves potato sticks.
01:25This is where I do the navigating, a lot of the time we have this, which is nice, we don't
01:29usually have this.
01:30I also wanted to mention, we used to have a 2008 Town & Country, her name was Bessie, and
01:36she didn't live to see the day that we made it onto Bus Invaders, so this, this is for Bessie.
01:41So my name is Jeremy, I do some of the driving.
01:44We split up the driving between three of the members in the band, David in the back and
01:48Gia also in the back.
01:50And then typically in terms of just like what we listen to, we are blessed that this has
01:56Sirius XM.
01:57And I'm kind of like, I like cycling through the different channels, we all listen to like
02:01all sorts of different genres.
02:03So I like listening to Willy's Roadhouse, that like old school country channel.
02:08It's just kind of good, it's so calming and nice, and there's a couple of good like jazz
02:11channels too that I like.
02:14And yeah, it's, it's where we do all the driving right here.
02:18All right, back here, we have Gia and David.
02:21What's up?
02:22Hi.
02:23What's up, I'm David.
02:24I'm Gia.
02:25Well, usually back here, most, most of the time someone is either sleeping or doom scrolling.
02:32Whereas, we've got this pillow here.
02:36Yeah, so comfy.
02:38There's not much talking that goes on in the back here.
02:40Well, it depends, it depends, after the show usually we'll have like a, a, a, oh, like
02:45a yapsesh hour.
02:46Yeah, the first, the first hour is, yeah, it's crazy.
02:49It is yapsesh.
02:49First show.
02:49And then that second hour of driving is usually just silent.
02:52Everyone's catching up on sleep.
02:54Yeah, pretty much.
02:54Yeah.
02:55Except for you, because this guy is always editing.
02:57Yeah, we're filming every show and recording, so I'm mixing and editing all the footage from
03:02every show after the show.
03:04Which usually if I'm doing that, I'm all the way in the back cage, in the back seat.
03:09We're going to do a hat tour.
03:14I don't travel without my hats.
03:16This is a cheetah print monster energy hat.
03:22Pretty swag.
03:23Pretty cool.
03:26Then, I have my alternative press, my alt press hat.
03:30I never worked for them.
03:32I just found this somewhere and I remembered when I used to get alt press magazines sent to
03:36my house.
03:38Specifically, I was really into the issue that they did about the band called Creeper.
03:41And I had every single poster that was in that issue hung up on my wall.
03:46So this is my alt press hat.
03:48It reminds me of those days.
03:50And this is just like a fox racing hat that I got in Arkansas when we were on tour there.
03:57And I just thought it was sick.
03:59It's my hat tour.
04:00We've got our own AC control back here.
04:02We're living in luxury.
04:03Our old van, Bessie, used to have no AC.
04:06So, I mean, being able to have AC.
04:10I don't know if we shouted out my mom, but my mom and my dad let us use this car
04:15for this tour.
04:16We love.
04:17It's got what we need.
04:19Which is awesome.
04:20It's been perfect.
04:20We're living lavishly here.
04:21Yeah.
04:22All right.
04:23So, in the trunk.
04:24This is where things get interesting.
04:28Because we have a cooler that is just taking up space.
04:31If you see us next tour and we have a cooler, please yell at us.
04:35We don't need a fucking cooler.
04:38Oh, no.
04:42Everything in here went bad.
04:43And we've yet to find a trash can that will...
04:46We don't have to talk about that.
04:48Don't look there.
04:49It's okay.
04:49This one is also a cooler with spoiled food inside of it that we've yet to deal with.
04:58So, yeah.
05:00Next time, if we have a cooler, you have permission to yell at us in the comments, okay?
05:05We have a roll of toilet paper.
05:06You never know.
05:07You really can't be too sure when you will have toilet paper and when you may not.
05:13Necessity.
05:15In our snack bag is a hoka.
05:19My hoka.
05:20Your hoka?
05:20In our food?
05:23What else is in here?
05:24I think those are snacks.
05:26Again, we haven't touched any of this, really, the entire tour.
05:29Hey.
05:29I have some of it.
05:31You guys can snack it.
05:31Okay, you guys can snack it.
05:33I haven't been able to get to over here.
05:34This is kind of fun.
05:35This is the Hayley Williams Good Day Young Tea.
05:38It's called Steep My Sunshine.
05:40It's allegedly what she uses backstage.
05:43You want to give it a whiff?
05:46Ooh.
05:47Does it smell good?
05:48Smells good.
05:50So, you have that electrolyte drink and chia seeds.
05:56It's like an ingredient household.
05:59We have ingredients.
06:01No snacks.
06:02We have ingredients.
06:03This is the back back seat and this is good for when like David is editing or like someone
06:13really wants to sleep for like a long time.
06:15It's a good spot.
06:17We're traveling with a fifth person for the first time.
06:20So, this worked out really well where everybody was able to have like a little bit of room.
06:24When we traveled with five people, we did a small run of shows in Australia in September.
06:29And we were five people in two rows for like 10 to 12 hour drives.
06:34Not complaining.
06:35Not complaining.
06:36It was amazing and perfect and beautiful.
06:38But when we were planning this tour, we were like, it would be awesome if we could navigate
06:42another way to accommodate five people without being squished for 10 to 12 hours.
06:48So, that's where this seat came in really handy and obviously we're very thankful to
06:52Gia's parents for letting us borrow their car for miles on it.
06:57I was going to say, I like to call this seat the nosebleeds.
06:59The nosebleeds.
07:00Because I can't sit, well I sit back here, but when I do, I never stop talking and the
07:07people in the front can't hear the person back here.
07:09So, I'm pretty much always yelling when I'm back here.
07:11She's screaming.
07:12She's literally screaming from back then.
07:14We're like, Gia, what?
07:15Always screaming.
07:16Thank you so much for watching our Bust Invaders.
07:19We are called Sir Echo and we just put out our debut EP called To Fly With Clipped Wings
07:23out on Equal Vision Records.
07:25And we're so excited that you came along for the ride.
07:27Thanks for being here.
07:41Bye.
07:43Bye.
07:50Bye.
07:51Bye.
07:52Bye.
07:52Bye.
