00:21An active soldier is among those being investigated in connection with personalities
00:27allegedly behind the destabilization efforts against the Marcos Jr. administration.
00:33According to Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff, General Romeo Browner Jr.,
00:38the intelligence community's investigation is ongoing and they are taking the report seriously.
00:45We want to make sure na walang active member ng art forces who will be involved in any of his non-constitutional activities.
00:56Browner again emphasized that the AFP remains professional as an organization.
01:02The AFP chief also has a message for those who continue calling on the military to revolt.
01:08Huwag na po kayong umasa na ang armed forces of the Philippines ay gagawa ng unconstitutional activities.
01:16We will stick to the rule of law at hindi po tayong lalabawp ito.
01:22Hindi tayo magpukudeta, hindi tayo mag-military punta.
01:29Dahil ang kawabaw po ay ang ating bansa. Magginawa po namin ito.
01:33Defense Secretary Guibot Eodoro also downplayed the destabilization rumors and said political issues have no effect on the AFP.
01:42He added that the sentiments of a few retired soldiers do not represent everyone.
01:48So let's not, let's also not glorify these people and putting them on a place where they shouldn't be regarded by the public.
