00:00In relation to that, AFP and PNP welcome the President's Executive Order No. 1017,

00:07which mandates the increase in the base pay and subsistence allowance for military and uniform personnel, or MUP.

00:15The Armed Forces of the Philippines stated that the move will boost morale and reaffirms the government's trust.

00:22Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police expressed gratitude for the continuous trust given by the President

00:28and assured that they will also protect the public's trust.

00:32Both agencies committed to ramping up their service, security implementation, and mandate to protect the country and communities.
