00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines, or AFP, has reaffirmed its professionalism and non-partisan stance

00:06following the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte over charges filed against him at the International Criminal Court, or ICC.

00:14The AFP denied speculations of any planned military action or unrest within its ranks,

00:20emphasizing its adherence to the chain of command and the country's democratic institutions.

00:25Despite the heightened political climate, the military assured the public that the security situation remains stable.

00:32However, they continue to monitor developments and are prepared to respond to any threats to peace and order.

00:39Philippine Army Chief Lieutenant General Roy Galido reiterated that the AFP remains focused on its mandate and responsibilities,

00:48ensuring the nation's safety and stability.

00:52It's a waste of time.

00:54At this point, the Armed Forces of the Philippines is very professional.

01:00The Army is very professional and we follow the chain of command.

01:04We focus more on why we exist.

01:06We exist to protect the sovereignty of our country and most especially preparation for our defense.
