00:00After all of the preseason harrumphing and consternation and back and forth on what was or was not being done by the New England Patriots,
00:12Curtis, I cannot believe I am here this morning to tell you that your New England Patriots are 9-2 on this NFL season after a win last night.
00:24When you see guys, whether it be Brady or Tiger Woods is a good one, guys that won all the time when they first got into their professional career,
00:35and then you see a lull, you know, one was done because of Perkins, another was done because Kraft and Belichick didn't spend on the team.
00:43And then when you win again, the elation increases.
00:48You are so much more grateful when you've won before, when you win when you lose a lot versus when you just win when you arrive.
00:57I got to tell you, it's also so much sweeter when you get to my age.
01:03I didn't know we'd ever get back here during my lifetime.
01:07And we're dynasty forward.
01:09Like, I feel, Wiggy, do you not feel like we're dynasty forward around?
01:13I feel like you have, and I think I heard it might have been Jones and Keith talking about it or the afternoon show.

01:59And the best part about last night is, and this was a headline immediately after, it was like,
02:04in a season of upsets, the Patriots still continue to win.
02:07Like, that was a game that you look at what the Chiefs have done, what the Bills have done this season,
02:12and the games that they've given up, that they absolutely should have won.
02:15Right.
02:15The Pats, it wasn't their best game.
02:17It wasn't their cleanest game.
02:18No.
02:19But they just, I was never worried about them.
02:22Not once.
02:23They remain with the issue of giving up points on their opponent's first drive, and doesn't
02:30seem to, I'm not going to complain about it, because it doesn't seem to affect the way
02:34they play afterward.
02:35Right.
02:36They are able to, Drake May is able to utilize everybody in that wide receiver room.
02:44And so, Matt Collins.
02:45Except Kyle Williams.
02:47Yeah.
02:47Well, he tried.
02:48Wrong shoulder.

02:51Well, I mean, they missed, what, three times?
02:53Kyle Williams cut off a route.
02:54He should have kept going down the field, because the safety dropped into the, to cover

02:58And then Drake May, Drake May threw it left shoulder.

03:01And Kyle Williams turned to the right.
03:03And Kyle went, went, turned to the right on that.
03:05The one on the sideline?
03:06Yeah, the second one.
03:08And then the first one was just a mess.
03:10Yeah, I think the sideline one was just, they were, because you never catch a ball over
03:15the left shoulder like that when you're running a goal route.
03:18So, that one looked like maybe he didn't widen it a little bit, because you're always
03:22supposed to look at over the inside shoulder, your right shoulder, or your inside shoulder,
03:26because if you're on the right side of the field, it would be your inside.
03:29And I think that one, I think that one just was like, maybe he could have got a little
03:34bit wide.
03:35So, you're putting it on, you're putting that on Drake.
03:37No, I'm not necessarily, I don't know, I don't know what the route, I don't know.
03:41He ran a goal route.
03:43And I know from running a million goal routes, you never catch the ball looking over your
03:47left shoulder when the quarterback's inside of you.
03:49Okay.
03:50The X, the Z, vertical route.
03:52Trying to get deep in the weeds for you.
03:54I mean, great game.

04:01Maybe my favorite moment of the evening was Steph Diggs after catching the pass for the
04:07first down and tossing it to the cheerleader.
04:10On the day he became a dad, that is the next level.
