00:00you can put up with, and they're trying to improve this, I think,
00:03by bringing in a run-blacking tight end, a fullback to be more physical.
00:07Vera Tuck will help there as well.
00:09And so you want him to pick up the third and shorts, don't get me wrong,
00:11second and shorts.
00:12But you have to keep giving him the football to hit the upshot
00:16of the 60-yard touchdown, the 70-yard touchdown, the big play.
00:20You have to keep going to him.
00:21You have to keep feeding him.
00:22I think you saw that with Seattle in the Super Bowl and Ken Walker.
00:24I mean, I think you see that with some of these backs.
00:26James Cook is another one.
00:27You can limit James Cook, but if you give it to him 20 times in a game,
00:30he's going to break off a 20- or 30-yarder.
00:32He might break off a 50-yard touchdown.
00:34And you might need to do some of that with Travion Henderson.
00:37So, yeah, I wonder if some of their moves this offseason speak to who they want
00:42the lead back to be this year.
00:43Stevenson was good in the playoffs.
00:45I don't think he's special.
00:46They may think Henderson has a chance to be special if they build the offense
00:49the right way.
00:50Well, it's funny because they got a little bit predictable, I feel like, at times.
00:52Remember, we would sort of monitor Steph Diggs' snaps, for example,
00:55and it felt like he never really got significant high percentage of the snaps,
01:01but they were usually the passing downs.
01:03And so you wonder, like, in Josh McDaniels, even when he's had some good offenses,
01:06it was that way for a while.
01:08When James White was out there, they were throwing it.
01:09When Sonny Michelle or somebody else was out there, they were running it.
01:12And that's why you wonder, like, all right, Reggie Gilliam's out there
01:16and Julian Hill and some of these others,
01:18especially when you go, like, with extra offensive linemen.
01:20And that might be better for Travion Henderson, but is that going to also lead to,
01:24oh, we know what you're doing?
01:26So we'll see.
01:27But, yeah, I would say, despite the great finish that Ramondre Stevenson really had,
01:32I mean, at the end of the year, he was one of their best players.
01:35It feels like they would like to turn the thing over to Travion Henderson,
01:38let him go a little bit, give him, I think he averaged, like, 10-11 carries a game
01:43last year in the regular season.
01:45So maybe up that number a little bit.
01:47He doesn't look like he has the build of, like, a 20-carry guy by any means.
01:52But if he's getting in the low teens and he's got the fullback in front of him
01:55for a lot of them, I think that's a good idea.
01:57And think of the frame-wise, some of the backs he's compared to, his build.
02:02Jameer Gibbs, who I think is going to be the bell cow in Detroit this year.
02:05James Cook, they have, like, the same frame.
02:08James Cook is a bell cow now in Buffalo, although it took him a little while.
02:12He was splitting with some of the other backs there two years ago.
