00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, despite threats from President Trump,
00:04New York's newly elected mayor says he wants to work with the White House for the good of the
00:08city. And a new investigation into whether the head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency
00:13improperly accessed the mortgage records of President Trump's political rivals.
00:21Welcome to Media Miss Minute. I'm Craig DeGrelli. And today we're looking at two stories missed or
00:27ignored by partisan media outlets. First, a story left-leaning outlets are overlooking. New York
00:33City's mayor-elect Zoran Mamdani is hitting the ground running, and he says one of his first calls
00:38will be to President Trump with the message of unity. Watch. Well, I'll say that I'm here to work
00:44for the benefit of everyone that calls the city home and that wherever there is a possibility for
00:49working together towards that end, I'm ready. And if it's to the expense of those New Yorkers,
00:52I will fight it. Trump previously threatened to withhold federal funds if Mamdani won,
00:58while Mamdani, in his victory speech, vowed to stand up and take on Trump.
01:03Now to a story right-leaning outlets are mostly ignoring. The Wall Street Journal reports that
01:08Fannie Mae officials were fired after they began investigating whether Trump's housing finance
01:13chief used his position to dig into Democrats' mortgage records. Among the records he allegedly
01:19accessed, those belonged to New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is facing federal
01:24charges in a separate mortgage fraud case. She has pleaded not guilty. For more stories missed or
