00:09Today, we're all about the new KG Mobility Action, an exciting SUV coupe that's making its debut in South Korea and is based on the Taurus.

00:22The KGI Mobility Action is a further development of the Korean brand, which was previously known as Sangong.
00:32With a length of 4.70 meters, a width of 1.90 meters and a height of 1.860 meters, the action presents itself as a spacious and modern vehicle that stands out with its angular design and muscular beltline.
00:45The interior is also well thought out and offers modern technologies.
00:55Two 12.3-inch displays serve both as driving information and to control the infotainment system.
01:02The high-quality leather interior can be selected in two colors and combined with wood or carbon fiber trim.
01:08The adjustable lighting, with a choice of 32 different colors, creates an atmospheric ambience.
01:15The generous trunk is also practical, with a capacity of 668L and can be expanded to up to 1,568L by folding down the rear seats.
01:29Under the hood of the new Action is a 1.5L four-cylinder turbo-gasoline engine that produces 170 horsepower and offers a torque of 280Nm.
01:38The engine is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
01:44Depending on the market, front wheel or all-wheel drive is available.
01:48An electric version is not yet available.
01:51However, an emission-free action could follow in the future, as the TORES is already available in an electric version.
01:57The starting price in South Korea is around 23,000 euros and the vehicle is expected to be introduced in Europe from 2025.
02:08Interestingly, the action platform supports both combustion engines and electric drives.
02:12The electric version of the TORES, the TORES EVX, for example, uses a 207-horsepower electric motor and a 73.4 kWh battery, which comes from BYD in China.
02:27It is therefore quite possible that the action will be offered with similar specifications.
02:31The name action stands for dynamic and combines the terms action and young as well as act and on.
02:38And pre-orders are already possible there.
02:42In Europe, however, the model is not expected until 2025, as KG Mobility is currently setting up the import structures and revising the existing dealer contracts.
