00:00I'm devastated by the whole affairs of the NHS at the moment. I think it's tragic because
00:06it's a wonderful, wonderful institution. I've worked for the NHS for 29 years and I want
00:14out. If not, the hospitals aren't big enough, we're not paid enough, there's the staff shortages,
00:20it's tragic.
00:21NHS can do it, but we all have to work together to make it happen. Yes, it's struggling, but
00:26why is it struggling? We know why. There have been funding issues, there are so many
00:31people who need help and there are only a few doctors and consultants and the NHS staff.
00:37And I see them all working really, really hard. Maybe we can increase their pay, make
00:42it better for them, because they also have to pay their bills right.
00:45I was pretty good, because people work hard and they do the work because they like doing
00:51the work, it's not for the pay. I don't think it's ever about the pay. I do think that nurses
00:58deserve more money, and I'm not a nurse, but I do think they deserve more money. Especially
01:04the lower ones, when they've come out from qualifying, the work they do and the hard
01:10work, they need to be paid more.
