The White House and GOP lawmakers have slammed Democrats for releasing a new batch of Jeffrey Epstein emails, calling them a “con job” and politically motivated attack aimed at smearing former President Donald Trump. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted that the “unnamed victim” referenced in the emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, who has publicly stated Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing, and noted Trump had expelled Epstein from his club decades ago for inappropriate behavior. The emails show Epstein telling Ghislaine Maxwell that Trump “spent hours” at his house with one of Epstein’s victims, and also seeking advice from author Michael Wolff on handling Trump’s potential statements.
