Emails released by the House Democrats on Wednesday show the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein alleging that President Donald Trump “knew about the girls” and “spent hours” at Epstein’s house with one of them. Trump has long denied having any prior knowledge of Epstein’s conduct.

Members of the House returned to Capitol Hill on Wednesday, setting the stage for a key vote to compel the release of all the government’s files related to Epstein after weeks of delays from Speaker Mike Johnson.

00:00We're going to get the 218th signature today. That means by early December we're going to get
00:04a full vote on the Epstein files. And today there were bombshell emails that came out
00:10showing that Jeffrey Epstein and Blaine Maxwell had emails about Donald Trump's knowledge of
00:18what was going on. So we need a full release of the files. Finally, that's going to happen.
00:23I mean, it's not surprising. I mean, this is a world that he was very much part of. It's not
00:27clear to what extent he was a part of that world, but they interacted with each other.
00:32They seemed to be friends. The guy who sort of let Epstein off ended up in Trump's cabinet.
00:37So it's not surprising at all that there's more information that connects these two.
00:42My sense is that it helps with the ongoing interest and transparency. Most people want
00:47to see full transparency. And the fact that days after Trump was named, was told he was
00:56in the Epstein files, he then went and fired these prosecutors who were handling the case
01:01at DOJ and removed them from the building and their offices. And it raises these questions
01:06like, did they do that to take the documents? And if so, what happens when we vote for the
01:13release of the Epstein files? Are they going to be able to produce it all?
01:16Why not release these files when Democrats were in power before? And why not before the election?
01:22Well, obviously, I don't know what was there. But that's a good question. Because I also
01:26think that during the last administration, all the files had been released. And so I would
01:30love to ask Merrick Garland and others, why weren't all these files released when we had
01:36them in our possession? What I know today is that Donald Trump is the president and he campaigned
01:40on releasing all the Epstein files. Obsessed about it. His vice president obsessed about
01:45it. And now the White House is involved in a massive cover up. And we want to know why
01:49won't they release the files? All of this can get solved right now if they released all the
01:53files. Did the president ever spend hours at Jeffrey Epstein's house with a victim?
01:58These emails prove absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong.
02:04And what President Trump has always said is that he was from Palm Beach and so was Jeffrey Epstein.
02:10Jeffrey Epstein was a member at Mar-a-Lago until President Trump kicked him out because
02:15Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile and he was a creep. And this email you refer to with the
02:21name of a victim that was unredacted now and has since been reported on in this room. So
02:26I will go ahead and say it. Virginia Guffrey. And it was CBS's own reporting Ouija that recently
02:31wrote that Miss Guffrey maintained, and God rest her soul, that she maintained that there was nothing
02:37inappropriate she ever witnessed, that President Trump was always extremely professional and friendly
02:42to her. And so I think it's a question worth asking the Democrat Party, and you should all go
02:47ask them after this briefing, of why they chose to redact that name of a victim who has already
02:52publicly made statements about her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and is unfortunately no longer
02:57her with us. This administration has done more with respect to transparency when it comes to Jeffrey
03:02Epstein than any administration ever. In fact, this administration, the Department of Justice,
03:08has turned over tens of thousands of documents to the American people. We are cooperating and showing
03:14support for the House Oversight Committee. That's part of the reason you are seeing these documents
03:19that were released today, because of the House Oversight Committee's and Republicans' efforts
03:24to get these out to the public. This administration also moved, the Department of Justice also moved,
03:28to unseal grand jury testimony, which we know, unfortunately, a judge declined those requests.
03:35So this administration has done more than any. And it just shows how this is truly a manufactured hoax
03:41by the Democrat Party, for now they're talking about it all of a sudden, because President Trump is
03:46in the Oval Office. But when Joe Biden was sitting in there, the Democrats never brought this up.
03:50This wasn't an issue that they cared about, because they actually don't care about the victims in these
03:55cases. They care about trying to score political points against President Trump.
