00:00Donald Trump appeared in newly released images from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein from before
00:06his time in office, part of more than a dozen photos released Friday by Democrats on a congressional
00:12oversight panel. In one, Trump is seen smiling with several women whose faces are redacted.
00:18A second shows him standing beside Epstein. A third shows him seated alongside another redacted
00:25woman with his tie loosened. The House Oversight Committee Democrats say they are reviewing more
00:30than 95,000 images produced by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein, who was a convicted sex offender
00:36before his death. Democrats said the tens of thousands of photos include what they call
00:41images of the wealthy and powerful men who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein, and that more will be
00:47released in the coming days. Former President Bill Clinton, Trump aide Steve Bannon, Bill Gates,
00:54and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers appear in some images. Filmmaker Woody Allen also appears
01:01in multiple photographs, and billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson appears in one.
01:07Other pictures feature sex toys as well as a $4.50 Trump condom with the president's face on it.
01:14A spokesperson for the committee, which is led by Republican Chairman James Comer of Kentucky,
01:19said Democrats were, quote, cherry-picking photos and making targeted redactions to create a false
01:26narrative about President Trump. The congressional Democrats said they redacted the woman's faces to
01:32protect the identity of Epstein's victims. White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said Trump's
01:38administration has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have. Trump and Epstein were
01:44friends during the 90s and early 2000s, but Trump says he broke off ties before Epstein pleaded guilty
01:50to prostitution charges. The president has also consistently denied knowing about Epstein's abuse
01:56abuse and sex trafficking of underage girls.
