00:00Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Boying Rimulya affirms that the International Criminal Court or ICC
00:06has a warrant of arrest for Senator Ronald Bato de la Rosa.
00:10Meanwhile, the case against former Representative Zaldico regarding anomalous flood control projects linked to him
00:16may possibly be taken to the Sandigan Bayan next week.
00:30This was the statement of Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Boying Rimulya following his pronouncement last Saturday
00:40that the International Criminal Court or ICC has already issued a warrant of arrest against Senator Bato de la Rosa.
00:47This, even as the Department of Justice or DOJ said they had not yet received the warrant of arrest.
00:53More than 100 days since the issue broke out regarding the flood control project's anomaly,
01:11the Office of the Ombudsman expects that this week or next week,
01:14the case against former Representative Elizalde Co. will be filed before the Sandigan Bayan.
01:23Also expected to be filed before the Sandigan Bayan are the cases against several DFWH officials in Region 4B
01:31and officials of San Luis Construction Company.
01:34This is in connection with the substandard flood control project in Norental, Mindoro.
01:39The Ombudsman is convinced of the findings of their investigation,
01:42saying the officials themselves signed the documents for the questionable project.
01:46According to Rimulya, once a court order is issued,
01:50there are measures to ensure that court returns to the Philippines.
01:53The passable charge they may face is malversation of public fans.
02:06Meanwhile, Rimulya insisted that former House Speaker Martin Lumualdez is not yet cleared of other serious cases.
02:14This was after stated last week that the only passable charge Lumualdez may face is cross-inexcusable negligence.
02:21As of now, around 15 cases related to questionable flood control projects are under preliminary investigation.
02:47After that, they will be submitted to the Sandigan Bayan.
