00:00I thought yesterday, on top of being a great ball game and a really good win for the Patriots,
00:05was a showcase for Mike Vrabel.
00:07And, you know, ironically, I think in some cases where the wrong decision might have
00:13been made, but it worked out in the end, players bailed him out, if you want to say.
00:18But, you know, some pretty interesting circumstances where his decisions were put right out there
00:24and they came through.
00:25Obviously, the end of the second quarter one where he gave up on first down to bleed the clock.
00:31Players ended up proving him right on that.
00:33Drake made a Steph digs for the touchdown.
00:36And then, you know, having Trayvon Henderson look over to the bench on that long touchdown run
00:41in the fourth quarter, asking whether I should go down or go into the end zone.
00:44Turns out he should have gone down.
00:46I got it.
00:46He should have gone down.
00:47I got it.
00:47I got it.
00:48I got it.
00:48I got it.
00:49I miscounted the timeouts.
00:50But he should have gone down.
00:51You guys screwed it up.
00:52But either way, just him looking over there is something we've never seen before.
00:56It just shows you how selfless the player is, how well coached they are, how cognizant of
01:01every situation they are.
01:03That was a showcase for Mike Vrabel.
01:05Being ready on the Philly special, you know, you just heard Romo give him a whole little
01:09tongue bath on that.
01:10The coach is here and they're ready for it.
01:12They're back.
01:14And then you had all the injuries.
01:16And Mike Vrabel has been doing this all year.
01:17He did it in Tennessee.
01:18He makes a point to go out there personally every time a player goes down, take a knee.
01:23In this case, he held Christian Barmore's hand.
01:26And when they came back from the commercial, they showed it on the broadcast.
01:29And that's what you heard right there.
01:30Murray, you have thoughts on that?
01:31I do.
01:32And maybe I'm a sucker for this kind of theater, but I loved it.
01:34His immediate on-field attention to players like this, specifically Barmore, I think is
01:39genuine.
01:40And I think that's the kind of thing that's getting this team to buy in as much as they have
01:44and getting to all play as well as they have.
01:46He cares.
01:47So they care.
01:47It speaks to that thing that Steph Diggs is now saying, we all we got, we all we need.
01:52It's a little bit corny, but maybe this is what's happening here.
01:54And winning helps, obviously, and something like this might have a shelf life, but for
01:58now it works.
01:59And keeping in mind, the Barmore one specifically, he just got benched for a quarter a couple
02:03of games ago.
02:04It was the Cleveland game.
02:05And when he went down today, and it looked, the other day, yesterday, it looked bad, you
02:10know, and you had enough that Vrabel's holding his hand like that.
02:13I just, for a guy that just got disciplined by that very coach, how many other red-assed
02:17A-hole coaches, or like Belichick, would have done that kind of display to show that he
02:21cares that much?
02:21Final word on the Buffalo Bills, Mark.
02:23Oh, they're a mess.
02:25I mean, I don't know how you can go into Miami and lose the way that you did yesterday.
02:29And if you see some of the clips of this, Josh Allen's not on the same page with any
02:32of these wide receivers.
02:34The offensive coordinator, the Bills fans are ready to see the guy get fired.
02:37Like, they seem like there's real problems there.
02:39I'm not writing them off, but I think the Patriots kind of have the division at this
02:43point.
02:43You're up two.
02:44You have the tiebreaker.
02:46It feels to me they're in the driver's seat for the AFC East, at least.
02:49It's theirs to lose.
02:50It feels to me they're in the driver's seat for the AFC East.
