00:00As a member of the 2024 New England Patriots, I think you are uniquely qualified to talk about
00:08something. And that is, how much better do you believe things are culture-wise, accountability-wise,
00:18just functioning as a football team day-to-day now versus where this team was a year ago?
00:24Well, obviously you would have to say there's something. I'm not in there, so I cannot
00:31directly say what that is, but you can't deny that something is going on. And I think they did a good
00:40job. Like, Stephon Diggs, to me, whatever, he could go for 2,000 yards this year. What I've seen from
00:47him on the leadership side, to me, is greater than whatever he'll do on the field.
00:54I'm stunned by it. Not stunned that I didn't believe in it, but you read everything.
00:59You just didn't know what you were getting.
01:00You heard people in the league talk about it. Breers talked about it, where he was unhappy
01:04and this and that. Things didn't work out in Buffalo. It didn't work out in Minnesota. It
01:08didn't work out, obviously, in Houston because he got hurt. He's taking it by the horns and
01:12just taking it to another level.
01:13And I think, to me, the play that, like, I don't know, I loved it was the onside. Him
01:19being in there on the onside kick. Taking that hit. I think it just shows the buy-in.
01:27Just, like, that's a dirty play. Like, you could have had someone else do it instead of
01:32your star receiver, but there he is. I don't know. I just, I love that. So, I think they've
01:37done a good job with the coaching staff, the whole building, some of the vets they've brought
01:43in. I think they've done, you know, a really, really good job. And I think when I looked
01:50at the team, if I was going to say, oh, one worry would be, you know, what is the culture
01:56going to be like? Because you're starting up, like, it was a brand new culture. And they've
02:01done a great job of that.
02:03You still have friends there. You must be hearing good things, though, right? I know
02:06you're not in there, but you must be hearing good things about what's happening.
02:08Yeah, but, like, I also, like, you know, I texted Hunter last week because Ford, we took
02:15Ford to the game, and all he cared about was where Ace's dad was. And, like, you know, it
02:21got annoying almost. And so, I had to, like, text him and be like, dude, like, my son is,
02:27was obsessed, like, trying to figure, and, you know, he'd be like, we're sitting there
02:31looking at him. He'd be like, where is he? I'm like, he's on the sideline. Well, where
02:34on the sideline? And then you're trying to point to a four-year-old, you know, this guy
02:38standing there, which was, made the game interesting. But, I don't know, I just, those guys don't
02:43want to be bothered. I'm not trying to bother. I didn't, you know, I didn't want to be bothered
02:47during the season. That's nice to you. Thanks. Yeah, no, it is.
