00:13that they haven't discussed A.J. Brown in a long time.
00:16Now, it wasn't clear whether that was internally
00:19or with the Eagles,
00:21and then if they not discuss it
00:22because it's not going to happen
00:23or if they not discuss it
00:24because they know nothing's happening
00:25until June 1st anyway.
00:27So it's a really weird situation
00:29because the Eagles can't move him
00:30without that massive cap hit,
00:31but I still think they should find a way to get it done.
00:33We were talking about it before.
00:34If you put him outside at the X
00:37and he's the guy that's dictating coverage,
00:39you're going to get Romeo Dobbs one-on-one,
00:41you're going to get Pop Douglas one-on-one,
00:44Kyle Williams one-on-ones,
00:45and those are guys that can win
00:46when they have those opportunities.
00:47You just need the wide receiver who's going to force it.
00:49I thought regardless of whether it's this year or next year,
00:52you're going to have to give up a one for A.J.

01:14So what burns them having to wait
01:16is you trade A.J. Brown,
01:17you lose him for the 26th season,
01:19the pick doesn't convey until 27.
01:21That's a spot you've just lost
01:23on your roster for this year.
01:26Maybe the Patriots send a player back
01:28and that's how you avoid giving up that one.
01:30Because they have a lot of NFL-caliber receivers.
01:33They're not top-of-the-depth track guys,
01:35but they're legit players.
01:37Maybe you send one back
01:38and that's how the Eagles close that gap.
