00:00We're going to the phones, as promised.
00:02And it's Scott in Rentham, currently sitting in Denver.
00:08Scott, good morning.
00:10Good morning.
00:10We're trying to get back.
00:11We're currently on the buses.
00:13Now, we pulled up to the starter area, and we've got to go through security now.
00:18I guess the plane's going to take off in about an hour here.
00:21Okay.
00:21And then we'll see what the hell happens.
00:23How's the road back home?
00:24Not great.
00:25I'm not going to lie.
00:25It's still snowing.
00:27It is not still snowing.
00:30I think what it was is, like, we should have boarded the buses,
00:33and it started to pick up.
00:34You saw what, you know, the conditions I've changed in the first,
00:37but the second, or third, and fourth quarter, you couldn't see anything.
00:40And we got heavy snow here last night, but we could have gone on a plane
00:43if somebody had to de-ice about three times
00:45and probably would have had about a four- to five-hour delay on the plane.
00:50And it took us landing late last night,
00:52and probably a two-hour commute to Oxford, which sucks.
00:56So, I think it's a smart thing, get the players back to the hotel,
00:58same hotel we stayed at, same room, let them sleep, get up,
01:03and then get on the plane.
01:04That's what we're doing right now, trying to get back.
01:05Yeah, I don't think you had much of a decision there last night.
01:08They may have freed up as a decision,
01:10but I don't think that there was a decision we made.
01:12I don't know how they would –
01:13I don't know how you guys would have made it back and landed here.
01:16Well, I know, he has a head guy that runs the airline,
01:19but it's on our charters, and they're charters.
01:21They're carpooling the storm, and I'm watching it,
01:22and I saw him on the phone there, trying to make, you know,
01:25half-hour by half-hour decisions on what to do.
01:27And it's the right decision.
01:28Stay here.
01:28It's just the safety of everybody.
01:30So, I mean, I know we saw it on TV,
01:32but how bad did it get in those third and fourth quarters yesterday
01:35when you were there live?
01:37It got bad to the point where you didn't see Matt Collins in the game.
01:39I think that's what they did.
01:40They kept fullback in.
01:41They kept Matt Collins in.
01:42That means they're running the football.
01:43It got to the point where you could throw it, you could catch it.
01:46You could drink the ball, just died, and it was just going into the ground.
01:50And even Stenum's last throw was Thornton that Gonzales and stuff did.
01:55How about him cramping up Thornton again at the end, though?
01:58How the hell do you cramp up?
01:59No conditions.
02:01Yeah, there's just crazy things.
02:04We heard Turt Warner was thinking about it's a shame that weather dictated
02:08who goes to a Super Bowl that way.
02:10Like, this is the way it should be played.
02:12I've never heard in New England.
02:12I've never heard the clip, but, I mean, if that's how he feels,
02:21the game was decided, I would say there were plenty of other ways
02:24that Denver could have decided the game that had nothing.
02:29They had to come in the fourth quarter.
02:32Yeah.
02:32Roma wouldn't shut the hell up about it.
02:35Oh, my God.
02:35Yeah.
02:36I don't even know if it was a win.
02:37It was just the way the snow was coming down left or right.
02:39It changed the whole time for the game.
02:42They went down to Tracy Wolfson where she was like, well,
02:45the wind is coming this way, and I turn around, and then I,
02:48if I'm looking, did you guys see this?
02:50Yes.
02:50And then I have snow in my face.
02:52It was like, this is the most reporting they've ever seen.
02:55Then Evan Washburn having snow in his hair, too.
02:58That was the other one.
02:59Yep.
03:09I don't know.
