00:00Do you think A.J. Brown is a realistic guy for the Patriots?
00:03I do.
00:04Yeah, I think, yeah, it's certainly more than them.
00:07You know, maybe it sounds like the Colts are going to end up putting the franchise tag on Alec Pierce.
00:12But if they didn't, I would see them trading for A.J. Brown and picking up his freight rather than
00:16going out and spending a lot for someone like Alec Pierce.
00:19So I can see it, although I don't know if I can see it on his current contract.
00:26And I need someone to tell me, it says that his option bonus, or that $29 million in 2026 compensation
00:37fully guaranteed last March, last March 14th.
00:41On Spotrack it says $29 million in 2026 compensation fully guarantees on 3-14-25.
00:49So he was on the Eagles last March 14th.
00:54So I read that as $29 million is guaranteed this year.
01:00You know, if A.J. Brown agrees to restructure that and spread that out, maybe he has a chance.
01:07But again, I'm going on the assumption, Maz, they're not spending this offseason.
01:11That they're not going big.
01:12And I hope I'm wrong.
01:13And they've certainly surprised me before.
01:15And so you can tell I'm trying to be careful not to get them in trouble for something they haven't
01:19done yet.
01:20But I just have this feeling, I know Bedard has written about it and others have talked about it, that,
01:24you know, they spent a good deal last year.
01:26They are a team that won't spend over the cap, even though they could.
01:29They obviously could.
01:30Tons of teams do.
01:31The Eagles do.
01:33Teams do it over a 10-year period.
01:34You don't need to do it over a three-year period.
01:36But the Crafts have put an artificial governor on the spending at the cap.
01:42And so I just think they're going to spread out and even out what they've done or what they did
01:48last year.
01:51You
