Jeremy White explains how the Bills WR issues have finally come to a head.
Transcript
00:00It's a four-year problem coming to a head.
00:04It came to a head last year.
00:05They were able to get through it.
00:07Amari Cooper, the trade of Cooper, the surprise of Hollins,
00:11the freshness of Joe Brady's offense, how well Allen played.
00:15They never turned the ball over.
00:17They were able to get through it, even though it was obviously a problem last year.
00:22And now, it's all come home.
00:25And if you think about the four- to five-year timeline, like you said,
00:27four-to-five years, I know it's four-to-five years because for four-to-five years,
00:32they've needed it, and went all the way back to when they drafted James Cook,
00:35and it was think of him like a receiver.
00:37Then they drafted Kincaid.
00:38It was think of him like a receiver.
00:40Then they drafted Keon Coleman, and it's think of him like a receiver that he isn't.
00:45He can't be on the outside.
00:46But what if he could?
00:48All right.
00:49Let's see it.
00:51So it's been obvious.
00:53And people talk to me a lot about the receiver because, you know,
00:58I drive the train, play this gimmicky bit where we hit a horn,
01:02I've got a board behind me because I'm leaning into the idea that they go,
01:04all right, let's go do this.
01:05Let's make this thing happen.
01:06This team really needs somebody at this spot.
01:09But it wasn't ever a hot take.
01:10It was always very clear.
01:12Everybody knew it.
01:13Everybody knew it.
01:15And it's, you know, it is where it is right now.
01:17And if Josh Palmer and Dalton Kincaid come back,
01:21then maybe the Bills can, you know, get this thing over the line
01:23and get this thing back on track.
01:25But, man, you're just really praying for what?
01:29For Josh Palmer to be the thing that rescues you.
01:32And the Kincaid injury, like, he's probably out this week, right?
01:36He's out this week.
