00:00Welcome back Jalen Green, the guard for the Phoenix Suns, has been declared unavailable

00:05for the game on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a recurrence of his right

00:10hamstring strain, which he sustained during Saturday's victory.

00:13According to John Gambadoro, from Arizona Sports, Green is expected to undergo imaging

00:18tests on Monday, and it is anticipated that he will be sidelined for a period of four

00:23to six weeks.

00:24The injury occurred with just 40 seconds left in the first quarter of Saturday's match,

00:29against the Los Angeles Clippers, as Green drove towards the basket and passed the ball

00:35to an open teammate Ryan Dunn, he suddenly reached for his right hamstring, indicating discomfort.

00:41He limped through the remainder of the play before trainers assisted him off the court

00:45and into the locker room.

00:47Shortly thereafter, it was confirmed that he would not return for the rest of the game.

00:52This is not the first time Green has faced issues with his hamstring.

00:56He initially strained it during training camp and then aggravated the injury, while in China.

01:02As a result, he missed the first eight games of the season, before finally making his debut

01:07in the Suns' victory on Thursday.

01:09In the game against the Clippers, Green had an impressive performance on Thursday, scoring

01:14a game-high 29 points, with a shooting accuracy of 10 for 20, in just 23 minutes of play.

01:19He also established a new franchise record for the Suns, by making six three-pointers in

01:25his debut.

01:26However, during the game on Saturday, Green managed to score only two points, along with

01:32one rebound and one assist, in seven minutes before leaving the game.

01:36It's worth noting that Green participated in all 82 games during the previous two regular

01:41seasons.
