00:10for the Phoenix Suns, is set to have season-ending surgery to repair a fractured hip. As reported by

00:16ESPN's Shams Karania on Wednesday, Beal joined the Clippers after the Suns bought out his contract

00:21last offseason. His time in Phoenix was largely affected by injuries, leading the team to make

00:27significant changes, including parting ways with him and Kevin Durant. The Suns had a financial

00:32commitment to Beal, owing him $110 million for the years 2025 to 2027, and he held a no-trade clause.

00:40In a move to facilitate his release, Beal agreed to forfeit $13.9 million, allowing the Suns to

00:47waive him and spread the remaining contract over five years. During his brief stint with the Clippers,

00:52Beal participated in six of the first 10 games, three of which were against his former team the
