00:05NBA rookie Rashear Fleming is well aware of the efforts the Phoenix Suns made to select him

00:10with the 31st pick in the 2025 draft. His performance in the team's preseason finale

00:16against the Los Angeles Lakers, particularly his defense against star player Luka Doncic,

00:21highlights the reasons behind the Suns' determination to secure him.

00:26Standing at 6 feet 9 inches tall with an impressive 7 foot 5 wingspan,

00:30Fleming shared with Arizona Sports Bickley and Murata that many of his on-court actions are

00:35driven by instinct. He mentioned, I got a deflection on Luka, just doing little things like that I feel

01:53One of the things I've noticed most about Brooks defensively is how he makes his opponents feel

01:58uncomfortable. He doesn't allow them much space to maneuver. Meanwhile, Suns rookie Kaman Malawach is

02:04known among his close acquaintances for being, quite, talkative. Although he hasn't fully showcased this

02:11aspect yet, Fleming is aware of Malawach's communicative nature. The seven-foot player,
