03:19Đó là không có thể trở lại được.
03:20Do you know what the Pomeroy Trophy cost?
03:22No.
03:23Đó là 10,000.
03:24Cảm ơn các bạn đã có thể trở lại được.
03:26No, không có thể trở lại được.
03:27OK.
03:28I'll think of another way.
03:29OK.
03:30Probably already happening.
03:31OK. Good man.
03:32See you in a bit.
03:39RELUCTANTLY,
03:40bạn phải có thể nói,
03:41Adrian's probably right.
03:43I can't be spending workshop resources
03:46on that.
03:47It's not like we're awash with cash at the best of times.
03:50But,
03:51there's an issue.
03:53I have kind of already committed to
03:56a race at Silverstone.
03:58Coming up very soon.
04:01It's awkward.
04:03Bugger.
04:05While I let that little problem percolate,
04:07I'm hoping a trip up north
04:09to see an old mate called Ellis
04:11will help show Adrian
04:12I'm not a complete idiot
04:14when it comes to business.
04:15So,
04:18I used to sell antique pine furniture
04:20and then deliver it in my little van.
04:22And I worked alongside Ellis.
04:24OK.
04:25Such a small world, eh?
04:28Ellis and I shared a love of bikes
04:30and now,
04:31nearly four decades on,
04:32he's launching a new boutique
04:34British motorcycle brand
04:36and wants our help.
04:37This is awesome.
04:38This is going to be
04:39Smallest Cog's first collaboration
04:41with a manufacturer and a brand.
04:42Yeah, it would be.
04:43Yeah, it would be.
04:44I can do with some social content.
04:45Oh, yeah.
04:46We're going to their big factory there now.
04:47No, no, no.
04:48It's not Honda.
04:52Ooh.
04:53There's motorcycles, you see.
04:54Straight away.
04:55I'm happy.
04:57The prototype bikes
04:58have been designed and built
04:59in a home garage
05:00with the help of business partner Ian.
05:02Hello.
05:03Hello.
05:04Ian.
05:05Nice to see you mate.
05:06This is Lewis.
05:07Hiya.
05:08Nice to meet you Lewis.
05:09Hi, how are you?
05:10Nice to see you.
05:11Nice to see you.
05:12Nice to see you.
05:13This is Lewis.
05:14Hi, pleased to meet you.
05:15Pleased to meet you.
05:16Right, so we had the initial chair.
05:17I haven't seen one yet.
05:18Can we have a look at the bike before we do anything else?
05:19Of course.
05:20So is this number one?
05:21It is number one.
05:22It is number one.
05:23Genuinely?
05:24Yeah, yeah.
05:25So these guys, because they're mad,
05:27at a time when the motorcycle market is...
05:30Struggling.
05:31Yeah.
05:32And the record of small independent manufacturers succeeding is...
05:36Disastrous.
05:37Um, you're launching...
05:40Will you stop it now?
05:42I think this is great.
05:43Positivity and all that, yeah.
05:44I think it's actually brilliant.
05:45I mean, I would never have forecast this
05:47when we knew each other 30...
05:4940.
05:50It's not 40, it's 50.
05:5150.
05:52Shut up, Ellis.
05:53Some years ago that you've been doing this.
05:55So what is it?
05:56What's the story?
05:57Where's the engine come from?
05:58The engine's from Italy.
06:00What capacity is it?
06:01600.
06:02Parallel twist?
06:03Single.
06:04Single?
06:05Yeah, and we just wanted to make something like the bikes we used to ride when we were kids.
06:08We just tried to be as lean as possible.
06:10How many are you hoping to make?
06:11If we got to the point where we were making a couple of hundred a year, it'd be great.
06:15Right.
06:16Can I have a set on your motorcycle?
06:18You can.
06:19You can.
06:20Valet.
06:21Yeah.
06:22You can be nice to me now because I was always scared of you when we worked.
06:25You were bigger than me.
06:27That's it.
06:29Ooh.
06:30You sound quite naughty, doesn't it?
06:33Yeah.
06:34I like the layout of it.
06:35It's quite off-road-y feeling.
06:37So what's this one in here?
06:39So this is the same engine but different bodywork.
06:42It's got slightly more duck tail on it.
06:44It has, yeah.
06:45So it's more of a flat tracker type style.
06:47It's quite cool.
06:48Right, so what, when and how can the smallest cog help?
06:52We are looking for someone to paint the tanks.
06:54Yeah.
06:55But we also need some suggestions for colours.
06:57What have you got so far?
06:58So we've got the blue, the black and the red.
07:01And how did you arrive at those?
07:02He looked at the internet for ten years.
07:03I was thinking about my felt tip.
07:05OK, so blue, black and red, these incredible new colours you've discovered.
07:09We'll come up with some suggestions.
07:11I'd love us to have a think about some sort of special finishes as well.
07:14When are you hoping to be in production?
07:16This year.
07:17Right.
07:18I can see it being quite a good launch with the smallest cog as well.
07:21Yeah, some sort of launch and get the press to see it.
07:26Um, Ellis, I think you might be able to shed some light on a particular photo.
07:30I was doing a little bit of reading.
07:33When did you last read the book?
07:35Well, it had pictures in it.
07:37Hold on.
07:38Oh.
07:39Ready for this?
07:40That's not what I think it is.
07:41Oh, wait a minute.
07:42Firstly, let's look at the first one.
07:44This was a long time ago.
07:46Now, there's a particular page.
07:48You might be able to tell me about this van.
07:51Well, firstly, that is an intact works van.
07:54Right.
07:55And on Richard's commute, one particular bend, there was a very old oak tree.
08:00I went off the bend and hit the tree.
08:02The van was totaled.
08:03Oh, my God.
08:04The following week, a new van was delivered.
08:05And history repeated.
08:06No way.
08:07Yep.
08:08The following week.
08:09Brand new van.
08:10Same tree.
08:11Same tree.
08:12Same bend.
08:13I wasn't expecting that.
08:14Two vans.
08:15Consecutive weeks.
08:16Oh, my God.
08:17So that's crashing from day dot then?
08:18Yeah.
08:19Yeah.
08:20It's actually to see a one piece reno van.
08:22That's the only content he's got.
08:23I'm taking that off you.
08:24I don't know where you've got it.
08:25I'm going to go out and get one of those books.
08:27That's a sale.
08:28Yeah.
08:31This is kind of the ultimate men in sheds, and I'm not being rude to them when I say that,
08:34because they want to be in full production.
08:36And I think we're about ready to give this a go.
08:38Here we go.
08:39A sense of fun.
08:41So the guys at MAC can go to any body shop, and they've decided to come to us.
08:59So I really want to show off what we can do, and hopefully we get the contracts.
09:03I'm not taking any pleasure in watching this video, because I know there's a race car crash coming,
09:24and I know it's my mate in the car, but I'm going to watch it anyway.
09:28And here he comes.
09:29He's lost it.
09:30Oh, that went over.
09:31That's in the wall.
09:35Yeah.
09:36Well, actually, he's more than a mate.
09:37He's a colleague, Mark, sound man.
09:39I've worked with him for, after measuring decades, on Grand Tour and Top Gear.
09:44He's a mad keen racer in his classic Mini, and, well, as I just saw, he bent it at an event.
09:52But the good news is, he's brought it to me to get it mended.
09:56Right, I'm going to go and see the wreckage.
09:58Nice to see Mark as well.
10:00Here he comes.
10:01All sound men have a van.
10:02And there's his van.
10:03There will be a soldering iron in there, lots of different types of tape, but more importantly,
10:16behind it, there's his little race car.
10:18Look at it.
10:19Hi, mate.
10:20Hello, Richard.
10:21Isn't it lovely?
10:22Oh.
10:23Wow.
10:24It was a bit lovelier.
10:25This is the problematic corner.
10:26Oh.
10:27Oh, it's bruised.
10:28Hmm.
10:29Yeah, what that is, is the wrong shape now.
10:31Yes.
10:32Has it bent the shell?
10:33It has bent the shell.
10:34If you open the door of truth here, it bolts in at the back fine.
10:38But here, it doesn't want to line up.
10:41It is definitely a bit wonky.
10:42Oh, mate.
10:43We've got to get it right.
10:44It's a shame.
10:45But it's all right.
10:46It's been a rally car since the early 1990s.
10:48It's got these lovely Monte Carlo stickers, because this car won the historic Monte Carlo
10:53in 2003.
10:54All we need to do is get Matt to go over it, because he likes nothing more than getting
10:58things the right shape.
10:59That is the job for him.
11:06Think about it.
11:07It is interesting time, Mark's Mini coming in, because, well, it's kind of proof that
11:12there is work to be had from the racing world.
11:15So, I am going to take on board Hadrian's suggestion.
11:19But he didn't say, don't do any more racing.
11:23Specifically, he said, don't do any more racing using cog resources and money and people.
11:28Yeah, I think of a way around that.
11:30My amazing contacts.
11:34If this business becomes, like, a huge success, it's down to me.
11:39Hello.
11:40Hello, Les.
11:41How are you?
11:42I'm all right, mate.
11:43How's yourself?
11:44How's the mirror?
11:45Is it raining?
11:46Not as we speak.
11:47If it's not, check you're in the right place, mate.
11:50I've got a quick question.
11:52Yes.
11:53How do you fancy a trip to Silverstone?
11:56That sounds brilliant.
11:57You won't be standing around like spectating.
11:59You'll be closer to the action.
12:01Oh, hang on.
12:02What do you mean, closer to the action?
12:04Ah, you see, I've piqued your interest, haven't I?
12:07You'll have to bring the smaller of your farmer's hammers.
12:09Yes.
12:10And perhaps a screwdriver.
12:11Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:12I'll let you know.
12:13I'll let you know.
12:14Bye.
12:15Bye-bye, bud.
12:17Right, let's see who else I can rope in.
12:20Zog, how are you doing?
12:21I've put two coats of colour on.
12:30I'm really happy with the outcome.
12:33Anyone can do this.
12:34It's just a standard straight colour.
12:36And we've got ten tanks for me to have a play with
12:38and I can literally do whatever I want.
12:40so that's where you've got to show your skill.
12:51Ah, Jamie.
12:52It's a bit early for lunch, isn't it?
12:54You wouldn't want to eat this.
12:55That's not paint, is it?
12:57No, this is urea.
12:58Urea?
12:59Yeah.
13:00From what animal?
13:01Normally a pig.
13:02So that's a pot of pig pee?
13:04Basically, yeah, but it comes in a crystallised form.
13:07So what we do, we dissolve that in water,
13:09reacts with the paint and cracks the paint.
13:11It doesn't come out the pig like that, does it?
13:12No, I hope not.
13:13Because it would sting.
13:14Yeah, that would be good.
13:15Have you done this before?
13:16No.
13:17Are you taking the piss?
13:19You are, literally.
13:24Dip that in, get that nice and wet.
13:25Oh, it's warm.
13:26It's warm, Pete.
13:27You don't mix this with the paint then?
13:29No, no.
13:30So this is going to re-crystallise on the tank.
13:33Is that the idea?
13:34Once it crystallises, you put a coat of black on it.
13:37And we won't know what pattern we've got until we've wiped off the crystals.
13:42Yeah, you can see slightly, but you won't get the proper effect until we put the black on.
13:46Plenty of pig pee.
13:48Right, am I doing this?
13:56Yes, please.
13:57It's a brilliant theory.
13:58It works on the internet.
13:59Now, let's have a go in a professional workshop situation.
14:03Nurse!
14:04I've just been told Hammond is putting his hands on a paint gun.
14:10So, content for the Mack Motorcycles, content for the workshop because Richard's on a gun.
14:14Let's go.
14:15Just, erm, clean it off now.
14:26And I mean to take just the crystals.
14:28Yeah.
14:29Leaving the silver to shine through from below.
14:32Right.
14:33And then just gently...
14:34Very gently, yeah.
14:36Ooh.
14:38It sort of reveals itself.
14:40That is the random effect you get from the crystals.
14:44And these look like ferns here.
14:45Look at that.
14:46It is a natural effect.
14:48Crystals form naturally.
14:49It sort of nature did that.
14:51And then the last phase is we then paint special type of paint over the top of the whole thing.
14:55Yeah.
14:56And where the silver is, it'll shine through that paint.
14:59That's exactly right.
15:00And this is the smallest cog in action, hey?
15:03Teamwork, making the dreams work, yeah?
15:06It's quite artistic, this process.
15:16This is what I want us to do.
15:18Do that bit more.
15:19Add value.
15:20Do something clever and a bit special.
15:22I've no idea what they'll make of it.
15:23I really haven't.
15:24And they're coming tomorrow.
15:26I'll have to explain how we did it.
15:28That'll be interesting.
15:36Just got to be careful when we unveil it.
15:48Just put it there.
15:50As I watch everybody getting ready for the guys to arrive from Mack Motorcycle,
15:56I'm just beginning to wonder, have I overdone it?
15:59Because Ian and Ellis are, they're actually quite conservative in their outlook.
16:03They're not going crazy.
16:05They want to just set up a good, functioning little motorcycle company.
16:09Then I've presented them with a variety of options,
16:12including a petrol tank painted using pig pee.
16:25Gentlemen, hello. How are you?
16:27We're in good shape. How about you?
16:29We've painted some tanks.
16:30We've got some different stuff to show you.
16:31Should we just go and have a look?
16:33Let's go and have a look.
16:34Right, here we are.
16:36Are we going down?
16:38Have you picked me up a little bit?
16:40Oh my goodness.
16:41That's a selection.
16:42Yeah, that's why we've tried all sorts of stuff.
16:45Just to see how they come out.
16:46Twin colour looks good.
16:48Good look nice.
16:49Yeah.
16:50So we've got another experimental one that we've dressed the bike up with.
16:53More?
16:54Yeah, I mean, you may not like it, you may like it.
16:56I don't know, but it's just worth trying.
16:58Oh my goodness.
16:59Look at that.
17:00Put it in a different outfit and it's a different bike, isn't it?
17:02Do you know, I would never have thought that colour would have produced that effect.
17:06No.
17:07But there's one last thing.
17:08Come and have a look at this.
17:09We'd love to come round.
17:10Because we went a bit berserk.
17:12Wow.
17:13It's amazing, isn't it?
17:14I want this one.
17:15I'm just wondering, can we try it on the bike?
17:19We might all go...
17:20Have you not popped it up on the bike yet?
17:21No.
17:22Shall we try it on?
17:23Definitely.
17:24Oh my goodness, look at that.
17:29God, that looks cool.
17:30That's completely changed it again.
17:32Cool.
17:33That does look reassuringly expensive.
17:36That is good.
17:37We can do more.
17:39This is the first time we've tried something that's really different.
17:42But it definitely works.
17:44So what we'd really like to do is take it somewhere where we can show it off.
17:48And where do you want to do it and when?
17:49It'd be really cool if we could do something like the TT.
17:52There's a lot of bikers there.
17:54It is the biggest motorcycle event in the world, isn't it?
17:57It's not a lads trip.
17:58Well, we could make it a bit of a lads trip.
18:00I'm totally up for that.
18:09No, I can't do that.
18:13Lewis?
18:14I refuse to knock on your door because it wouldn't be right.
18:17Okay.
18:18So, quite exciting.
18:19Mac boys, they're thrilled.
18:20Happy day.
18:21And a really good idea has come out of it.
18:22Okay.
18:23We've launched them at the Isle of Man TT.
18:25Wow.
18:26I mean, what better place?
18:27Yes.
18:28And that's where, God help us, you come in.
18:30Because it's an event.
18:31It's got to happen.
18:32Okay.
18:33We'll have people there.
18:34I want press there.
18:35Social media.
18:36How long have we got?
18:37Ah, well, soon.
18:38But internet, that is your thing.
18:51Okay.
18:52We've got this little mini in.
18:54Rear corner damage.
18:55Subframe isn't lining up anymore.
18:56Just in this corner.
18:57We can clearly see that we're probably at least 10 mil out.
19:02The best way to straighten it is obviously to strip it to a bare shell.
19:05Put this car on a jig and they can reverse the impact.
19:09However, it's not a concourse car.
19:12It's been raced through most of its life and there's no point in spending thousands of pounds.
19:18So we're going to try and do an alternative way of kind of fixing it.
19:22Matt's hoping his improvised contraption will do the same job as a frame jig, which stops a car twisting during heavy repair work.
19:35I'll feed this bar up to you, Isaac.
19:38This looks like a seven arm operation.
19:41The bolted on aluminium frame should prevent excessive movement when the 10 ton hydraulic ram pushes the body shell square again.
19:50Well, that's the theory.
19:53If it doesn't work, it was your idea, was it?
19:56Oh, yeah.
19:57Right.
19:59So, after looking at it earlier, so it's got to be 8 mil further.
20:06It might look a bit odd measuring Mark's Mini, but actually it's really important because of the way a Mini is built.
20:13Up until the Mini arrived, most cars had been built with like a separate chassis and then the body bolted onto that, whatever body you want.
20:20So the two were separate.
20:22The Mini was groundbreaking because it's a very early monochrome car.
20:26That means there is no separate chassis. The body kind of is the chassis.
20:30It relies on its shape for its strength.
20:33Are you ready?
20:34Yeah.
20:35Let's go.
20:40I don't normally get nervous, but I'm quite nervous.
20:45Are we moving?
20:46Yeah, let's move in.
20:47How much?
20:48You've gone 3 mil so far.
20:50It looks like it's pushing the back quite squarely.
20:53I can see it moving the arch.
20:56And it's straightened this kink out from the outside.
20:59That kink's virtually gone now.
21:01You're 0.8 now.
21:03So you've gone 6 mil.
21:056 mil.
21:06That's getting pretty tight now.
21:08That's pretty good.
21:09Look at that.
21:12Oh, yeah?
21:13Yeah, we've got 7 mil, haven't we?
21:14Yeah.
21:15What do you reckon?
21:16I'm quite happy with that.
21:17I'm quite happy with that.
21:18That's about right.
21:19That's bang on.
21:20Yeah, I think we're quite good there.
21:21That's straightened up.
21:23Really happy with that.
21:24Like, super happy.
21:25It's actually paid off.
21:27I'm quite relieved now.
21:29I need to relieve myself.
21:31So we're pulling this dent out.
21:40The plan is to put your claw on there.
21:43Use the upright as a tensioner to pull.
21:46Kind of the method of straightening it out when you don't have a jig.
21:52Right, shall I get Richard to just hold the car just in case it slides on the tires?
21:56That wouldn't be a bad show.
21:59Richard Hammond off the TV.
22:01What?
22:02Can we use your assistance, please?
22:04Oh.
22:05I wonder when you'd ask.
22:07Right, this is primitive, isn't it?
22:09Yeah.
22:10This is Mark the Sandman.
22:11He loves this mini and you've got it on the rack.
22:14You ready?
22:15Yep.
22:18Oh!
22:19Oh, it's moving.
22:20It is moving.
22:23Slowly, slowly.
22:26That is amazing, actually.
22:29You might have to give this a bit of a tap from the inside as well.
22:35The original logo for this company featured the legend of classic car craft.
22:39Well, yeah.
22:43That is not bad, is it?
22:44That's come out really nicely, to be fair.
22:46Well, I enjoyed that, chaps. Thank you very much.
22:48I'm going to try to forget I ever saw it.
22:51Good luck.
22:52Thank you.
22:53Thank you.
22:54Bye.
22:55Thank you.
22:56Thank you very much.
22:57Thank you.
22:58Thank you.

26:35As well as boosting team morale
26:36Zog's on social media duty
26:38I'm Zog
26:40I'm director of public
26:41My hair's a mess
26:43I'm director of public relations normally
26:46But um
26:47I've been called in to do
26:49The social media things
26:50You're also helping me with mechanics
26:51Oh good luck with that mate
26:53And that ends the first part of social media
26:57Look at you
26:57Don't you look good man
26:59Slightly windswept
27:00Windswept and interesting
27:01And Lenny's holding the machinery
27:04You were born to it
27:05You were absolutely born to it, Zong
27:08Now we just need to upload, don't we?
27:10Right, that's brilliant
27:11That's our first bit of social media
27:13Cheers, Les, couldn't do with that
27:15Right, chaps, now, the mission
27:18Let's us not lose sight of it
27:19The whole point of this exercise
27:21Get signatures on my license
27:22So I can race at the next level
27:23Okay, let's get it warmed up then
27:25Get it warmed up
27:25I have to say, this coming racing
27:32With a sort of stripped out crew
27:33With no real engineers
27:35Just those two idiots
27:36I'm loving it
27:37Supposed to be just having a day out with your mates
27:39I couldn't find any
27:40I bought those two
27:41I've never been a mechanic
27:42I've been to lots of motor races
27:44But you can fiddle, you can
27:45Oh, yeah, yeah, I can fiddle
27:46I don't know what the devil I'm doing today
27:48But I'm happy, so it doesn't matter
27:49This is our racer
27:53Hello
27:53Ready to go in his wrong pursuit
27:55Dinky little booties
27:57Right, little MGB
28:05Let's both get through today
28:07Victory will be getting the signatures on my license
28:10That I need to move up a level
28:12That's all I've got to do
28:14So it's going to be one more lap to the start line
28:28We form up in grid order
28:29Got our numbers ready, Zolt
28:36We know our stuff, mate
28:38Red lights are on
28:40Handbrake is off
28:41I think my clutch is on the way out
28:51I had a bad start
28:53Just get it round, remember
28:55It's all you're after doing
28:57Here he is
28:58Here he is
28:59He's in the game
29:01Be nice to get past this other MGB
29:06I did
29:09Second from last
29:13Ah, Mini
29:14I reckon I could probably get that
29:16Yep
29:16I'm through
29:18He's made another place
29:21Marvellous
29:22This could be risky
29:23If he runs wide
29:25I'm going to go inside him
29:26Ha ha ha
29:30One of us is going to have to concede
29:32And it's him
29:36Yeah
29:37Wait a minute
29:39Richard, do not overdrive yourself
29:42And break the car
29:43I'm just trying to complete the race
29:45Oh shit
29:50I'm getting hot
29:51Oh god
29:54It's flashing red now
29:58It's gone over 100
30:00I think I am just going to back right off
30:03It doesn't look very fast
30:06Oh, it's starting to smell hot now
30:08I'm going to kill the car
30:10You're working yourself into a lava, Les
30:14This is stressful, Zolt
30:16I know, I can see
30:17Six minutes
30:18So that's like four laps
30:21Please
30:23Please make it
30:24Oh, this is agony
30:27One more lap
30:28One more lap after this
30:30And I'll have done it
30:32That's what we like
30:34Oh, I've done it
30:41I've done it
30:42I've done it
30:46Thank God
30:48Yay
30:48Woo
30:49Never has last place been celebrated so fine
30:53Next stop, Gin
30:55Wow
30:56Gentlemen, thank you
31:02My race team
31:04Well done
31:05What a race team
31:07It was really hard
31:08Not to get carried away
31:10And blow the car up
31:11But
31:11If I hadn't finished
31:12Then I wouldn't get the signature I needed
31:14So
31:14Okay
31:14I nursed it
31:15And I had a great time
31:17Just what I do
31:18Zog
31:21Zog
31:22Yes
31:22One of the pit boards that you and Les put out said cog pint
31:26Yes
31:26Yes
31:27Can we do that bit
31:28Yes, please
31:28Right, we'll pick this up later
31:30Enough of mechanical sympathy
31:31Sodding
31:32Thought you'd never ask
31:33Customer coming in
31:45Mark
31:45My sound man I've worked with for about 25 years
31:48To get his racing mini
31:50And he's already here
31:51Hello, mate
31:55Hello, hello
31:56Boys, I'd like to see a customer working on their own car
31:58That's good
31:59It's good, doesn't it?
32:00It looks fantastic
32:01Are you happy?
32:02Yes, I'm very happy
32:03Good
32:03The thing I'm particularly excited about
32:04Is that I tried to bolt the suspension up
32:06After I crashed it
32:07And it didn't fit
32:08And now
32:09It fits
32:10It's a great sign
32:10I'm very pleased
32:11Because I was involved in straightening it
32:13I played it
32:13As I recall
32:14Pretty pivotal role
32:15Pivotal
32:16I heard it was pivotal
32:17It was
32:17It was largely down to me
32:19I'll probably check that it
32:20Works
32:21Yeah, check that it works
32:22The other thing about this car, of course
32:24Because it's a race car
32:25How would it be up against my little MGB?
32:27This would be a hell of a lot faster, wouldn't it?
32:30I don't know
32:30Come testing
32:31Can we just be quite clear
32:33Until I get a lot better
32:34There is no way
32:34Am I going up against you on a track?
32:36Because you've done this a lot
32:37And it would be annoying
32:38I've done it a bit
32:39I'll be very rude if you overtake me
32:41I can accidentally
32:43Oh no
32:44And I know where to get it fixed
32:45You could take out
32:46An entire field of race cars
32:48And bring it back
32:49And have six months worth of work
32:50They've done a really nice job of it
32:54And they've treated it with love and care
32:56Which is the important thing
32:57You know, it's a really special car to me
32:58I've known it a very long time
33:00So I'm really pleased what they've done
33:01Today we are packing
33:17Ready to go to the TT
33:19And in 39 years of motorcycle riding
33:23That's something I've never done
33:25I've never made it to
33:26Possibly the most famous motorcycle race
33:28And one of the longest running
33:29In the world
33:30But we're not all going as tourists
33:32This is work
33:33We've arranged a little bit of a launch event
33:36For Mack motorcycles
33:37But obviously I'm packing my bike kit
33:40Because you can't ride the TT
33:42And not ride the bike
33:43The plan is to cross to the Isle of Man by sea
33:49After meeting Ian and Ellis at the port
33:52Jamie, a lot of bikes
34:05Hell of a lot of bikes
34:06Yeah
34:06These are our people
34:07Gentlemen, good morning
34:14You managed to navigate your way north
34:15We did
34:16I am very excited about this whole mission
34:19I didn't think I'd be this many people to be honest
34:26Obviously it's big
34:27But it's absolutely crazy
34:28Let's check in
34:30And let the fun and serious work
34:33Launching your new brand begin
34:35To the right, thanks
34:39To the right
34:40This is pretty cool
34:45That's a lot of bikes
34:50And I love being around bikes and bikers
34:53So I'm having a great day
34:54Right, so we are at sea for a little while now
35:07Yeah
35:08I think we've organised everything
35:09But let's just go through it
35:11So it's at the Paramount City Cafe
35:13We've got the bikes
35:15Journalists have been invited
35:16We'll get awareness of the brands
35:18Awareness of your bikes
35:19And have fun
35:20Yeah
35:21There's a bit of a social bit to do
35:22To just say
35:23We're on our way
35:24Please come down to Paradise Cafe
35:26I won't say that
35:27Because it's the wrong place
35:28You know, we know
35:28It's Paramount
35:29Come to Paradise
35:30Come to Paradise
35:31That's all they need to say
35:33I really hope Lewis' social media expertise
35:38Outweighs his attention to detail
35:39A lot is riding on this
35:41See what I did?
35:42Go on then
35:43Right
35:43I'm on my way to the legendary TT motorcycle race
35:47But it's not just the racing to be excited about
35:50There is a launch
35:51What's amazing is there's thousands of bikes below deck
35:57But everyone's looking at my work
35:59Saying how good the paintwork is
36:01It just makes you proud to put my name to them bikes
36:13What makes the Isle of Man TT so famous
36:17Isn't just the fact that it's the oldest motorcycle race event in the world
36:21It's also the most dangerous
36:23With riders getting up to speeds of over 200 miles an hour
36:26On a track consisting entirely of public roads
36:30This is motorcycling's hallowed ground
36:34Nearly 40,000 bikers make the annual pilgrimage
36:38Can't believe we made it
36:49Looks a bit like Blackpool doesn't it
36:52We're officially launching the bikes tonight
36:57Getting the attention of these diehard biking aficionados won't be easy
37:02But Lewis assures me it's in hand
37:05I've had a look on the phone
37:08And we've hit just nearly 175,000 views
37:12On the little video that Hammond did on the ferry
37:14Spreading the word about our event this evening
37:16Now I was doing some schmoozing last night
37:23Right
37:23And the TT have said that we can lead the legacy lap
37:29So these four are going to lead the 1,000 motorbikes
37:33Around the full 37.5 mile track
37:36Really?
37:37Yeah
37:37Never
37:38That's quite a cool launch
37:39Just say that again
37:41We're going to be at the front
37:42We're going to be at the front
37:43Showing off the bikes
37:44Cool
37:44I don't know the way
37:46I'm lucky I have done a lot of stuff
37:56I've never done this
37:57I mean you can actually feel the ground shaking
38:00That's mental, isn't it?
38:03I'm going to stall
38:04And then the whole thing
38:05Everyone on their sides
38:08Soz
38:09Oh movement is happening
38:11Literally we're off
38:12Oh that is incredible
38:21Yes man
38:22Sometimes the queue behind is 8 miles
38:25I know
38:26It's nuts
38:26It's just forever
38:27Absolutely
38:28It's incredible
38:29Miles and miles of bikes
38:31Every possible height you can imagine
38:33Is this the circuit?
38:38This is the course
38:39Oh yeah
38:39But it's stone walls
38:41And they pull like 100 and whatever along here
38:44An average of over 130 mile an hour
38:47It's insanity
38:48This manhole covers
38:50Oh my god
38:52That's tight
38:53Imagine that
38:54Oh I've got it wrong
38:55I've hit a church
38:56They're actually waiting to cross the road
39:03Did I see the sign for 19 miles back there?
39:08Oh I don't know
39:09Means we're only half way
39:11I need a wee already
39:12Me too
39:13So now we're going to go out up into the mountain
39:19Looks a bit misty up there
39:21It must feel suddenly very lonely when you're racing
39:24It's all busy
39:25And then suddenly big speeds coming up
39:27The legacy lap pays homage to the incredible bravery
39:38Of the riders who put their lives on the line
39:40To race at the TT
39:41I could get a little bit emotional about this
39:52I'm a biker
39:53I have been all my life
39:54And look at this
39:56We're coming down now to Balacrane
39:58Which is a really famous turn
40:00Wow
40:01Right now it's quite graceful and flowing
40:04What it must be like at race pace
40:06I cannot imagine
40:07I think we need to do more bikes at the smallest cog
40:14It's a fact
40:15So the lads are on their way down from the circuit
40:23We're here at the Paramount City Cafe
40:25And here we come
40:26I can see Jamie's flashing beacons leading the pack
40:29It's like the red arrows
40:31How's it feel having your bike running up and down at the TT then?
40:40This is the most extraordinary sensation
40:43It really is
40:43It's cool isn't it?
40:4436 or whatever years ago
40:46Working in your dad's antique pine place
40:48To here
40:49I'm speechless
40:50Absolutely speechless
40:55Respect duly paid
41:01Time for business
41:03We all look lovely
41:05We're fresh and ready
41:06But what's the plan of action?
41:08You've got a plan for
41:09If we get five
41:10Or 50 people
41:12Yes we do
41:12The power of social media
41:14Something tells me it's going to be quite busy
41:16Feeling good
41:21All my paint works on display
41:23Which is really nice for the guys to see
41:25Bike's looking amazing
41:26There's a lot of people coming in now
41:29They're actually stopping people at the door
41:30So it's getting really really busy
41:32So it's quite good
41:33Lewis
41:34Try not to run over any of the attendees
41:36With the bike they've come to see launched
41:38It's an amazing turnout
41:40I can't believe there are people queuing outside
41:42Standing room only
41:43Why don't we hide?
41:46Ladies and gentlemen
41:47Welcome to the Paramount City Coffee House
41:48For the official launch of Mack Motorcycles
41:51That's your coming
41:52Thank you
41:53This is their launch
41:57And I want it to work for them
41:58Because he's an old mate
41:59Also for the smallish cog
42:00Let's be honest
42:01We're all here
42:03Because I'm guessing
42:04We all love bikes
42:05But few of us love bikes enough
42:07To set up our own mark
42:09But there are two guys here who did
42:12This is great
42:13I mean
42:13This is great for our socials
42:15I mean
42:15The videos I'm getting now
42:16Are just going to pop off online
42:18Setting up any kind of mark
42:20Sounds like utter insanity
42:22Such a reaction
42:23A couple of hundred people here
42:24Probably more
42:25Everyone giving us great compliments
42:27About the bike
42:28Thank you so much for coming along to see us
42:30Enjoy the rest of the races
42:31And that's your coming
42:32Thank you
42:33How did that go?
42:36Just a massively positive reaction to the bike
42:38Yeah
42:38To the paintwork
42:39The style
42:40People loved it
42:41It's pretty spectacular what you've done
42:43Yeah, yeah
42:44We could literally paint it any colour we wanted
42:46Do whatever designs we wanted
42:47Out of this
42:49I think we're going to get a lot more work
42:52So tell us about this bike then
42:53So this one
42:54Is set up as a cafe racer
42:56I think seeing people
42:58Love the bike
42:59Say how different it is
43:01We never thought that it would be this good
43:03People are looking at the bikes
43:05And really it's down to those two now
43:07It's their business
43:08It's their creation
43:09And also, you know
43:11How fabulous the paintwork is obviously
43:13Because if you're a specialist in painting vehicles
