00:26of go through the timeline here a little bit for everyone Kyler Murray was banged up and Jacoby

00:30Brissett had to take over against the Indianapolis Colts and Kyler was trying to work his way back

00:35practicing they figured he'd be back following the bye week and Jacoby Brissett looked kind of good

00:41against Indy and Green Bay they figured maybe let's just give Kyler a little bit of time

00:46though going into the game against Dallas we were told Murray might have a role which is insane to

00:53say about a franchise quarterback who has a foot injury known as a runner we're going to bring

00:58him in for RPOs he's healthy enough to do that they said never mind never mind he's not going to have

01:03a role Jacoby's going to start for us this game we'll see what happens after that well what happened

01:08was Kyler Murray was put on the IR and instead of their coach Jonathan Gannon telling everyone

01:16that Jacoby Brissett will start as Kyler gets healthy or we'll reevaluate Kyler when we can he goes

01:23just so everybody knows Jacoby would have started even if Kyler Murray was 100 percent healthy not

01:31great gotta be honest not great to have that said about what is supposed to be a franchise quarterback

01:39so the reality is Jacoby Brissett has completely taken over this job and we'll talk about what that

01:44means for Arizona in a second but what it means for Kyler Murray Joe I'm pretty much positive I'm curious

01:49where you land on it is next year he'll be playing for a different organization good now I mean I have

01:58been very critical at K1 okay I have been very critical of Kyler Murray this year again he he

02:05hasn't he hasn't displayed the leadership that I you would expect a franchise guy to buy into and again

02:12when you see that he's only thrown for 962 yards on the year granted he's completed 66 percent six

02:19touchdowns three interceptions he doesn't have the consistency from week to week and you could talk

02:25about the loss to Tennessee being on Demarcado and that fumble and granted they should have been up

02:31and that could have been maybe a different maybe game-changing and season-changing win if they picked

02:37it up yeah Kyler Murray still struggled in the second half he doesn't give you when he's out there

02:43four quarters of consistent play right and that has been the problem with Arizona and this team

02:50and this organization were headed in there they were progressing right they got eight wins last year

02:56they should have won that game or they had an opportunity to win that game against Carolina

03:00they blow it on the road and all eyes on this year were like okay year two with Marvin Harrison

03:06we have one of the best tight ends in Trey McBride we solidify our draft with two defensive players

03:13Will Johnson a lockdown corner we're headed in the right direction to maybe knock down that playoff

03:19door and what happens they start 2-0 they lose five straight Kyler was hurt okay I get that but the

03:28body language the lack of leadership that the inconsistent quarterback play and then you bring in a journeyman

03:35in Jacoby Brissett that's basically on his 10th football team in the last 13 years and he lights up

03:43one of the best defenses or one of the best teams in Indianapolis beats Dallas on a Monday

03:49night and he's getting the football not to just Marvin Harrison but Trey McBride and the other guys

03:57Michael Wilson in that offense that you say this is what we should have had from the start of the regular

04:02season and Kyler Murray just can't bring it for whatever reason and Gannon's at a point now where

04:10he has to win he has to win otherwise he's on the hot seat
