00:00We are going to New York to promote our November issue of Playboy.
00:09It's important for us to do press in New York because there's a lot of TV shows and radio out there that are not available to us out here in L.A.
00:18We're doing so much press and we're going to be on The View, so there is no way to really prepare for a trip to New York with our schedule the way it's going to be.
00:28Come help me pack, honey.
00:30I'm going to try and pack well enough ahead of time and not stress myself out.
00:34Perfect.
00:35I am so excited to go to New York. I've never been there.
00:39I hope within those two days I could see a lot.
00:42Like the Statue of Liberty, freaking, you know.
00:53What else is there?
00:58I'm going to give you candy.
01:02Come on to my house, my house.
01:05I'm going to give you figs and dates and grips and cakes.
01:11Come on to my house, my house, come on.
01:17Hef is a little high maintenance when it comes to travel.
01:20You know, we always take a private jet, which is fine with me.
01:22The staff has to stock it with all kinds of snacks and food that he might want.
01:29Bottle Jack.
01:30I got Hefner's drink kit here, so this should help explain it, make it a little bit easier for them.
01:36Oh, man.
01:46We put this rack up in his dressing area, and Mr. Hefner just picks out the stuff he wants to wear on the trip.
01:53And then when he's ready, I go up and gather it all up and make a list.
01:58And a lot of these suits, I've numbered them, because he's got five identical Armani suits.
02:03So it makes life just a little bit easier.
02:06That's it.
02:07He's packed.
02:08I was so sad to leave Gizmo behind.
02:12I just felt really bad for her.
02:15Giz.
02:17I'm going to miss you, sweetie.
02:19Am I going to miss Mama?
02:21Are you looking for the puppy?
02:22No, come back!
02:24Giz.
02:27Come here, silly.
02:28Do you know Mama's leaving?
02:29I'm going to miss you, Giz.
02:30Come give me love.
02:32Come here.
02:36Giz.
02:37I got a foot.
02:38I got a tail.
02:39I got two feet.
02:40Come here.
02:41You were the one crying at me.
02:42I want to spend quality time with my kitty.
02:44Come here.
02:49The one thing that sucks about traveling is I hate leaving my dogs.
02:53I feel so bad for them.
02:56Harlow, are you dogs going to have a party while home?
03:00Don't invite your friends over.
03:01Don't have a party.
03:02Don't trash the place.
03:04Daddy will be mad.
03:07Yeah.
03:10Oh, gotcha.
03:12Gosh.
03:13Hey.
03:14Gizzy.
03:16Silly.
03:20That's it, Gizzy's out of here.
03:21She's had it.
03:22I'm going to miss you, too.
03:24Oh, me.
03:26You're a big pain.
03:28You going to come out?
03:29I'm going to miss you.
03:30Ah!
03:32Hi.
03:33Joe says he wants your luggage.
03:34Oh!
03:36Are you finished packing, Kendra?
03:38Once I find my fucking shoe.
03:42Oh, this thing doesn't work.
03:43Oh, this thing doesn't work.
03:44Oh, it works.
03:48Um, how about less playing around and more packing?
03:50All right, well, can you help me find my shoe then?
03:52Where is it?
03:56No, not here.
03:57It sucks.
03:58Packing sucks.
04:00How many carry-ons can I take?
04:01I think two.
04:04Haters.
04:06Two carry-ons?
04:10Assholes.
04:12Brian, I got him.
04:14Sweet.
04:15Once Kendra finally got packed and had her bags downstairs, we were ready to go.
04:20Now, I know I'd forgotten something.
04:22Me too.
04:23Oh, I'm sure.
04:24I think I brought my whole room.
04:26Well, I'm taking along whatever really matters.
04:28Aw.
04:30Your briefcase?
04:36Hef won't fly commercial.
04:38It has to be a private jet.
04:40Because he can.
04:41That's why.
04:47Yay!
04:49Yay.
04:50The plane is really cool.
04:51It's huge.
04:52This is the biggest private plane I've ever been on.
04:54This is the way to go.
04:56I mean, look at this.
04:57I feel like I'm in a spa.
05:00Okay.
05:01This is cool.
05:04This plane we went on, it made me feel like a pimp.
05:08It's like a house.
05:10It's crazy.
05:11I think it's the best plane ever.
05:13Nice.
05:14Very nice.
05:15We can all agree on one thing.
05:16Very nice.
05:17Very, very nice.
05:18I'm completely at home, in the air.
05:20I'm even a member of the Mile High Club.
05:22How about that?
05:23You know, that's a time when you've got to find the right partner and you join the Mile High Club.
05:29Ah!
05:31What do we sign up?
05:32Where do we sign up?
05:33You have to recruit somebody.
05:34I was looking for volunteers, but no one.
05:37You recruited me.
05:39It's a sexual thing, Kendra.
05:42It is?
05:43If you get laid in an airplane, that's the Mile High Club.
05:47Oh, if you get laid on an airplane?
05:48Yeah.
05:49Well, maybe we could join the Mile High Club on the way home.
05:51Yeah.
05:57We have such a big day ahead of us today.
06:00We're starting out with the Statue of Liberty and then an autograph signing for our magazine
06:04and a ton of press at Virgin.
06:10It was my first time to New York and I was so excited when he landed.
06:14As soon as we got to New York, there was two limos waiting for us on the tarmac.
06:17The girls and I headed straight to the Statue of Liberty and half-headed back to the hotel
06:21to get started on some press.
06:23It's so weird how different, like, places are.
06:26Especially back east.
06:28Oh, look! The Home Depot!
06:32Is that the statue I can see?
06:34Yeah.
06:35The statue is very masculine-looking, don't you think?
06:38She's not hot.
06:39I love it.
06:47I love the masks.
06:48Yikes.
06:51Courtney!
06:52Hey!
06:53Pilar!
06:55When we went to the Statue of Liberty, we met our friend Courtney, who's a playmate,
06:58and Monica, an upcoming playmate.
07:00And our friend Pilar, who's a playmate who is working out in New York.
07:04The more the merrier.
07:05I would feel like I would have seen you in forever.
07:08So, in order to go to the Statue of Liberty, you have to meet first at Battery Park to catch the ferry.
07:12Okay, okay, I want to, uh, meet you.
07:15Kendra, we gotta go!
07:16Okay, okay!
07:18I feel like we're little kids on a field trip.
07:19Now, don't get lost, kids!
07:24Wait, I got Mr. Hefner on the phone.
07:25How you doing, pal?
07:26Very well.
07:27We're signing the November issue.
07:28The November issue just came out, and it's got my girlfriends on it.
07:31Good lord almighty, they're perfect, too.
07:33Yes, they are.
07:34I knew that Hef was doing a phone interview with Howard Stern.
07:36And in New York, there was this big rumor in one of the papers that I was pregnant.
07:40But you're thinking of maybe getting this one girl pregnant.
07:43Are you talking about the story in the Daily News today?
07:45Yeah.
07:46Oh!
07:47Well, Holly's my number one lady.
07:49And the reporter wanted to know whether or not there'd ever been a conversation about having a baby.
07:52And I said, yes, there's been some conversation.
07:54Oh!
07:55I don't feel like I have that much time to have kids because I want to have kids at 30.
07:59That's my ideal age.
08:00And I'm 25 right now.
08:01I don't want to wait until I'm 40.
08:03I just don't.
08:04So we will see what happens.
08:07And always a pleasure speaking to you soon.
08:09My pleasure.
08:10And we will see you soon.
08:11Thank you, Mr. Hefner.
08:12Okay.
08:13Have a good day.
08:14There was a guy that was asleep on the ferry and so Courtney kind of snuggled up to him.
08:18And I was taking pictures of her posing around him.
08:21And he didn't know.
08:22Stop it.
08:25Look at the statue.
08:26It's so cool.
08:28He woke up and when he saw Courtney, yeah, he was up for it.
08:31Kendra, can you take a picture of us?
08:33What is this for?
08:34My computer.
08:35Oh, okay.
08:36That's good.
08:37That's you.
08:38Oh, God.
08:39Oh, that's awesome.
08:40Here we go.
08:41Oh.
08:42Ready?
08:43Cool.
08:44She looks tiny from far away.
08:46I know.
08:47Is the Statue of Liberty a real person?
08:49No.
08:50I asked them, like, is that made after you're a real person?
08:52And they're all laughing at me like I was stupid or something.
08:58Yeah, they asked to make the mold of me, but I said no.
09:04The torch that's in here is the actual original torch that was placed in the Statue of Liberty.
09:08The torch was brought down and they actually dug the ground out and brought the torch in whole
09:12and brought it in.
09:13Wow.
09:14So I'm just trying to give this to you because I'm trying to give you a quick briefing.
09:16Oh, it's a real woman?
09:17Yeah, it is.
09:18A real woman that's in there.
09:19She's very big.
09:20No.
09:21No.
09:22Was the Statue of Liberty a real woman?
09:24Like, was it...
09:25You know, I don't...
09:26No one answered me.
09:27She knows the truth.
09:28Is the Statue of Liberty created after a real woman?
09:31The face is modeled after the sculptor's mother.
09:33They said, made after a real person.
09:34And I was like, hold you.
09:35Hello.
09:36Now we're talking.
09:37Oh, cool.
09:38Look at it.
09:39It's a cool one.
09:40I thought the Statue of Liberty was really fun just because Monica and Courtney came along
09:43with us and Pilar.
09:44I like each other.
09:45Let's flash with people.
09:46I behave with Courtney.
09:47Oh my goodness.
09:48Look at those people over there.
09:49I don't think I can spit that far, man.
09:50You with the red hat right there.
09:51Yeah, here we go.
09:52Here we go.
09:53Is she going to spit?
09:54Yeah.
09:55She's getting ready.
09:56I don't like it.
09:57I am not.
09:58My eye drops are Statue of Liberty color.
10:00The Statue of Liberty color.
10:01The Statue of Liberty was really fun just because Monica and Courtney came along with us and
10:05Pilar.
10:06I like each other.
10:07Let's flash with people.
10:08I behave with Courtney.
10:09Oh my goodness.
10:10Look at those people over there.
10:11I don't think I can spit that far, man.
10:12You with the red hat right there.
10:13Yeah, here we go.
10:14Here we go.
10:15Is she going to spit?
10:16Yeah.
10:17The Statue of Liberty was pretty cool.
10:20It was everything I thought it would be, but I think I need to give her a makeover.
10:38Our schedule was really busy in New York to promote our Playboy cover and a lot of the
10:45press will center around the three of us girls.
10:47So we're going to have to be on top of our game.
10:49Our schedule was so hectic.
10:51We had tons of publicity and promotions to do at Virgin.
10:55I just feel like my hand is going to fall off after all these signings.
10:58You are more free than the TV.
11:00Aw, thank you.
11:02I've been buying Playboy since I've been about 12 years old.
11:05Haunted, I'm right under my mattress.
11:06Ha, that's great.
11:07I mean, all the more power to him, you know?
11:09Happy birthday.
11:10Is it today?
11:11Yep.
11:12Cool.
11:13He's a great guy.
11:14He's a nice guy.
11:15Pleasure to meet.
11:16And the lovely ladies.
11:17Who wouldn't want to be him?
11:19We're having a lot of fun with it.
11:20And then behind where we're signing the autographs, they're setting up a press thing where we did
11:29different newspapers, magazines, talk shows, a lot of press.
11:35It was very tiring.
11:36So there has to be some jealousy.
11:39Bridget, tell me about that.
11:40There really isn't anymore.
11:42Tell us the realtor.
11:43Come on.
11:44It's true.
11:45What do you think your four children would make of the fact that you had another baby at the age of 80-plus?
11:48Oh, I think they're used to the unique nature of my life.
11:52So how does it work?
11:53I mean, there's...
11:54Works very well.
11:55Are you guys all sleeping with him?
11:58No.
11:59Are you sleeping with your wife?
12:00Yes.
12:01I am.
12:02We don't ask you about it, though.
12:03You could.
12:04I don't know.
12:05How is it?
12:06What's your favorite position?
12:07It's great.
12:08I'm actually fairly boring.
12:09Do you actually appear in the show?
12:11Oh, yeah, sure.
12:12It's about the girls.
12:13I'm the wizard behind the curtain.
12:14It's still a little secret.
12:15Between Dorothy's.
12:16Toto, too.
12:17Yeah, Toto, too.
12:18Yeah, nine Totos.
12:19A lot of Totos.
12:20It is through the eyes of the girls, and that takes the pressure off of Daddy.
12:23Let them do all the work.
12:24Yes.
12:25So to speak.
12:26Great.
12:27Thank you very much.
12:28You take care.
12:29Good luck.
12:30I mean, I knew it was going to be a lot of press and a lot of publicity and a lot of fun,
12:33but it was unbelievable.
12:35Oh, you're such a sweetie.
12:37Best of luck.
12:38Let's do it.
12:39Let's do it.
12:40Did everybody see the cup of noodles?
12:42That's my favorite thing.
12:45Jekyll and Hyde is Bridget's favorite place in New York because it's all Halloween themed.
12:50Hey, let's get this freaky Frankenstein experiment rolling.
12:53Moop.
12:54You're welcome to the club.
12:55My name's Miss Scarlet.
12:56I'm going to audition for the Playboys.
12:57That's what we're looking for.
12:58There's like freaky monsters and the maids come and dust you off, and it's just a really,
13:08really cool themed restaurant.
13:10We had such a good time there.
13:11I'd like to take a little more time and explore your feminine set.
13:14Oh, my.
13:15All right.
13:16All right.
13:17Yes, I am.
13:18Then we went to go see a Broadway show called Spamalot, which is based on the Monty Python
13:25movies.
13:26Spamalot.
13:28Hef and I had just watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so I was in on some of the
13:33jokes.
13:34It was so funny.
13:37I totally loved it.
13:38These guys are cool.
13:40I had a great time, but we were so tired, so we were anxious to get straight to bed after
13:49that.
13:50The girls are all dressed very nice for today.
13:57Kendra's really stressing about today.
14:00Why?
14:01I guess the lady who did the pre-interview was pretty frank about a lot of things.
14:08Oh?
14:09So she was very nice with me.
14:10And Kendra's saying, I'm not going to talk about sex on TV.
14:14I'm not going to, you know.
14:15No.
14:16I mean, she couldn't have to.
14:17I'm excited to go on The View, but they are haters.
14:24I mean, I've never seen it, and I've never even heard of it, but all I know is they're
14:27haters.
14:28I'm nervous about my reactions to the questions, and if they ask me anything stupid, then I'm
14:35going to give them a stupid answer.
14:36I'm like Kanye West.
14:37Kanye West always, like, tells the damn truth.
14:39If I see them, like, in the green room or something, I'll be like, yo, come over here.
14:45Uh-huh.
14:46Yeah.
14:47When the lady from View, in the pre-interview, was she asking questions that you felt were
14:56curious or out of line?
14:57No.
14:58I mean, the other girls are nervous about it, but...
15:00That's why I wondered.
15:01I think the reason I wasn't that nervous about going on The View is because our schedule
15:05was just so packed.
15:06I didn't really have time to be nervous about one particular thing.
15:09Well, Kendra and Bridget said they didn't want to talk about sex, and I think the lady wasn't
15:12really thrilled with that.
15:14Are you nervous?
15:15I'm really nervous to do The View.
15:18I'm hoping that the ladies are really cool and love us to death, but it could be the opposite,
15:24and they could just be very cynical and like, what are you girls doing?
15:28I think I'm also afraid they're going to ask a lot of personal sexual questions.
15:33Yeah, yeah.
15:34And it's not that I'm afraid to talk about that kind of stuff, but I think it's inappropriate.
15:38Inappropriate.
15:39Inappropriate.
15:40And rude, because I feel like if Katie Holmes went on there, they wouldn't ask her...
15:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
15:45...about how Tom is in bed.
15:46Like, if it was universal, like on Howard Stern, I'd expect to be asked that stuff.
15:57If I ask something that you want to answer, just say it.
15:59Okay.
16:00Personal.
16:01Okay.
16:02Just do your usual...
16:04Okay.
16:05...laugh.
16:06You know that Barbara Walters is very much connected to, and maybe a producer of a co-pulsor of the show.
16:14Who is Barbara Walters?
16:16Who is that girl?
16:17Who is Barbara Walters?
16:18Yeah.
16:19She always does like the big celebrity interviews right before the Oscars.
16:23I was so nervous about doing The View.
16:28I don't really know what I expected.
16:31When we got backstage, I was so excited to meet Barbara Walters, especially since broadcast journalism is my major.
16:38And I was a little bit disappointed.
16:40I was like, oh, I'm Bridget. It's so nice to meet you.
16:42And she was like, and you are?
16:47I don't really want to go on a show who isn't positive about what we're doing, so we'll see.
16:53The View interview went fast. It was just like lightning. I blinked and it was over.
17:03It was less than 15. I know that.
17:05I think it was less than 15.
17:06I think it was 10 minutes.
17:07I feel like I was going to faint.
17:08I was so worried about it ahead of time. That leaving there, I felt so relieved.
17:12And I thought, okay, it wasn't so bad. It wasn't so bad.
17:14I feel like I barely even had to talk.
17:16I just smiled, giggled, nodded my head.
17:19But then when I got home, I started reading the emails from just fans and people and everyone felt that they were very mean and unfair to us.
17:26So bad that I don't even want to watch the footage.
17:28I thought it was weird that we were kind of sharing one chair.
17:31I was surprised we all fit.
17:33They made us do that and then we got out there and they go, do you always sit like this?
17:37We like to be near to one another.
17:40Excuse me, but who's the one who made us sit like this?
17:43And then they made a comment too about all of us having silicone breasts.
17:48And I'm very proud to say that my boobs are 100% natural and that offends me.
17:53I said to myself, I can't believe we're talking about stuff like this so early in the morning.
17:58They need boob jobs because they need help.
18:01They need reality checks.
18:03Yeah.
18:04You're right. Good idea.
18:06They were trying to make it seem like they were being nice, but it wasn't nice.
18:10It was not nice calling half a dirty old man.
18:13Oh, you should have handled those questions.
18:14Oh, no.
18:15I felt like I rarely had the opportunity to even speak because they wouldn't allow it.
18:19They didn't really need us there to say what they had to say.
18:22They were very unfair to us.
18:24I think after this, I'll be fine with anything.
18:26Yeah.
18:27They are haters.
18:28And I hate the view.
18:29Fredrick's right here already.
18:33Good evening.
18:34We went to a party at Fredrick's to promote our new issue, kind of announce it to New York.
18:50Hi, sweetie.
18:51Welcome back to New York.
18:53I love you.
18:54Hi, sweetie. Welcome back to New York.
18:58They did a private party for us.
19:00It was all themed out with Playboy stuff,
19:02Playboy balloons, Playboy carpeting.
19:04It was so cool. Our magazine was everywhere.
19:07It was totally Playboy themed,
19:09and not only just Playboy themed, but themed us, too.
19:12It was a Bridget, Holly, Kendra party.
19:15Good evening.
19:17I know almost everybody in this room, but I'm Christy Hefner.
19:20Christy Hefner, who is Hef's daughter,
19:22she got up and gave a speech, and it was so sweet.
19:26It's actually a great pleasure to welcome the girls and my father here.
19:30And what I want to say, for those of you who haven't seen the show,
19:33is that this show is successful
19:35because of the extraordinary personalities of these three women.
19:39We couldn't be more pleased that you are a part of the Playboy family.
19:43Now, there is another reason why the show is successful,
19:46and that's the gentlemen sitting here.
19:49It is with great pleasure that I just say to my father that we love you,
19:55we are honored to work for you,
19:57that everybody here is a friend and an ally,
20:00and if anybody knows how to throw a party, it's Playboy.
20:03So let's let the party go back to beginning.
20:10Christy's speech at Fredericks was just so sweet,
20:12and she said the nicest things, and she's such a great speaker.
20:15And Hef got a little teary-eyed.
20:17I think it was just a reflection of how great Christy's speech was.
20:21It made me almost want to cry.
20:23It made me feel really good.
20:25It made me feel so good.
20:27The New York visit was amazing.
20:29I was really impressed with the party
20:30that Christy and Playboy threw for us.
20:33Like, that moment meant so much to me,
20:35but yet we're whisked away just like, wait!
20:38I think we took New York in fine fashion.
20:41I hear my pajamas calling my name right now.
20:44Oh, I hear them too.
20:46All I want is a pillow.
20:49Howdy, howdy, howdy.
20:50Hello, welcome back.
20:52My first visit to New York was awesome.
20:56I give it an A+.
20:57I would not change one thing about it.
20:58New York was so rushed.
21:00I wish we had way more time.
21:01There's so many things that we want to do and couldn't do.
21:04We were there for a couple of days,
21:06and we just had to see everything as fast as we could.
21:09And it was such an honor to sign those magazines today.
21:12I mean, every once in a while I'd kiss one.
21:14I was like, yes!
21:15And then someone would be like,
21:16can you kiss mine too?
21:17Can you kiss mine too?
21:18Yeah, they did.
21:19I was like, okay.
21:21Lip gloss, please!
21:23That's funny.
21:25I think.
21:26Come on in, my house, my house, I'm gonna give you candy.
21:33Come on in, my house, my house, I'm gonna give you figs and dates,
21:40and grips and cakes, ay!
