00:00In Nicaragua, Co-President Daniel Ortega affirmed that the peoples of the world face a weakened U.S. imperialism as a common enemy.

00:07The commander's statements were made during the ceremony held to promote general commissioners of the Ministry of the Interior,

00:15as well as to pay tribute to the 49th anniversary of the passing of Commander Carlos Fonseca Amador.

00:22Also, the heads of the Nicaraguan executives reaffirmed their commitment to continue building a better revolution in the world,

00:29aimed at giving dignity to the peoples despite the constant threats from the North American government.

00:36On the other hand, the leader reflected the position of several allied governments in Latin America

00:42that see cooperation with China as an alternative for development

00:46and a way to challenge Washington's historical interference in the region.

00:59We are witnessing a period in which it has become an enemy, no matter how much military power it had.

01:13No matter how much economic power it had, has disappeared, has been diminished, has been discredited, has been weakened.

01:20And in the meantime, other forces have been growing, and among these forces, the People's Republic of China stands out.
