00:00Meanwhile, in Brazil's social movement, political parties and other popular organizations demonstrated
00:05in Porto Alegre, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, against the imperialist invasion
00:10of Venezuela by the United States and demanded the release of President Nicolás Maduro.
00:19Today we stand in solidarity with the Venezuelan people and the workers of Venezuela, who are
00:25defending Venezuela's mineral wealth. It is therefore very important that we workers stay
00:33united against imperialism. We are reviving our engines for the mobilizations that are necessary
00:44to confront Trump's imperialist aggression against Venezuela and Latin America. We do not accept the
00:50kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro. We do not accept the US invasion. It has nothing to do
00:56with the restoring democracy. What they want from Venezuela is oil, gold, the riches of that country.
01:03Therefore, we Brazilians know that broad unity is necessary to defend the self-determination of
01:10peoples. Latin America independence need the anti-imperialist struggle more than ever.
