00:00We want the Lips!
00:15We want the Lips!
00:24We have Gavs!
00:27Who are we?
00:28Magic!
00:29What do we want?
00:30Pussy!
00:31When do we want it?
00:32Now!
00:33When I say snitch, you say cock!
00:36Snitch!
00:37Cock!
00:38Cock!
00:39We have Gavs!
00:48We want the Lips!
00:49We want the Lips!
00:51We want the Lips!
00:53We want the Lips!
00:55We want the Lips!
00:57We want the Lips!
00:58We want the Lips!
01:24Come on!
01:32Yes, of course.
01:34Thank you so much.
01:35The next thing I want you to do is just take a deep breath.
01:41Okay.
01:42So, scab is...
01:43Absurd.
01:44Eclectic.
01:45Intense.
01:46Delightful.
01:47Not like nonsense, but, well, kind of nonsense.
01:49Scab is the world's largest annual scavenger hunt.
01:53It's been running since 1987, so that marks 38 years of scab,
01:58and it's a four-day long scavenger hunt.
02:00In spring quarter of 1987 at Snitchcock Dorm,
02:04four students found that UChicago was really hard
02:08and they wanted to make it more fun,
02:10so they decided to do this
02:11and found out that people liked it more than they expected.
02:14During scab, teams are asked to not only bring items,
02:18but they're also asked to craft items to perform events
02:21and do other types of challenges.
02:23My favorite item in the history of scav
02:26was to steal a manhole cover from Indiana.
02:29A Michelin tire signed by a chef at a Michelin restaurant.
02:32A nuclear reactor, which one team successfully did in 1999.
02:36Your mom.
02:38We got a lot of moms.
02:40Since 1987, the first item has always been the list itself.
02:44So the first event of scab is list release,
02:47where scabbies have to do an insane task to get the list.
02:50And this year, it was getting the list out of frozen t-shirts.
02:53It's not supposed to be orange.
02:54Oh, damn, that's it.
02:55Okay.
02:56I had to get the fuck out of here.
02:57Okay.
02:58South scab here.
02:59Why is it orange?
03:00Let's go, South! Let's go!
03:01Let's go, South! Let's go!
03:02Let's go, South! Let's go!
03:03Let's go!
03:04Let's go, South! Let's go!
03:06Many of the scab teams are dorm teams,
03:08which is the whole dorm.
03:10Students from the dorm participate,
03:12as well as sometimes they pull in their friends from other buildings.
03:15South is kind of known for being the team that lives in their own world.
03:32Who needs sleep? We'll sleep when we're dead.
03:36but they got second place last year
03:39because they were able to complete
03:40such a sheer volume of items.
03:42So I know they're feeling quite competitive
03:44and they want to bring the trophy home this year.
03:46Get off the list!
03:48By firmly holding onto your teammates' ankles,
03:51roll down a hill or grassy knoll
03:53while staying as one mass.
03:54One point per teammate.
03:56Okay, let's try.
03:57No limit!
03:59I think that the South Scav team
04:02is simultaneously one of the most ramshackle,
04:06bodged together groups of people I've ever met
04:09and also one of the most dedicated.
04:10We need a signature from a current Big Four U.S. athlete
04:15obtained during Scav.
04:16A signature plus 20 points for every cue in their name.
04:20We've taken in people who didn't have a Scav team
04:23or didn't feel welcomed in their own house,
04:25so we're kind of like a hodgepodge melting pot.
04:28We're open. We'll accept anyone from wherever.
04:30It's hectic. We have a lot of people.
04:31Last year, we had kind of some, like, not infighting,
04:34but we had a little bit of that.
04:35South has a lot of number of people,
04:38but what we've struggled with in the past
04:40is to bring those people out.
04:42So if we're able to have a diverse set of captains
04:44to bring a ton of people out,
04:46that's how South is going to work.
04:47Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
04:52My first year, we got ninth place.
04:54My second year, we got fifth place.
04:56And last year, we got second place, which was huge.
04:59I never expected to get that far.
05:02Now that I know what we can do together,
05:04we have to go first.
05:05There's no other option.
05:07Is everybody listening to me?
05:09Everybody listening to me?
05:10I'm going to literally need everybody
05:12to, like, sit down with your laptop,
05:14and I'm going to give you all a sheet or a page of the box.
05:18It is stiff competition.
05:20I mean, obviously, I think our two biggest competitors
05:23are Snell Hitchcock and Max P.
05:25Oh!
05:26Yes!
05:27Yes!
05:28Yes!
05:29Yes!
05:30Yes!
05:31Yes!
05:32Yes!
05:33Yes!
05:34He's got the list!
05:35He is the list!
05:36He has the list!
05:37He has the list!
05:38He has the list!
05:39He has the list!
05:40He has the list!
05:41Max P brings it.
05:44That's all I can say, really.
05:45They won last year.
05:46They have almost 200 people in their Discord server.
05:49I know they are ready for this hunt.
05:51They are gearing up.
05:52They're going to bring incredible completions
05:54and a lot of energy.
05:59Several of the members of that team are now judges.
06:02Others have decided to stop doing SCAV.
06:04They have already won.
06:05We'll see if the undergraduate population
06:07can really pick up where those people left off.
06:09Max Pussy is going to win, obviously.
06:12Why is Max P going to win?
06:13Because we're Max Pussy.
06:17Our team name last year was Max Pussy,
06:19and our team name this year is Max Pussy 2,
06:22Pussy to the Max.
06:24That's a great name.
06:25I know, it's great.
06:26Really bold to see so many people.
06:28Yeah.
06:29This is, like, so much more than we've ever had in the past, so.
06:31In the past, we haven't ever really been a serious contender
06:35for the top slot.
06:36It's generally been, like, Snitchcock and, you know,
06:39who's going to get second.
06:40It's been South some years.
06:42And then last year, we were able to move up to first place,
06:45and that was our first time really being super competitive
06:48in SCAV in a long time.
06:49We have a legacy to protect now.
06:51I mean, me and the other captains
06:52are going to try our hardest to do that.
06:53Thank you again, everyone, for coming out.
06:58How much I want to win a Nobel Prize is probably here,
07:01and how much I want to win is probably here.
07:03Who are you most worried about?
07:05I'm the most worried about Snitchcock,
07:07just because I don't know if they fully recovered
07:09from whatever happened last year.
07:14Let's get this!
07:15Yeah!
07:18Let's go!
07:22Snell Hitchcock was, for sure, the villain of SCAV.
07:26Like, they would always win.
07:27We, I think, are the team that has the most SCAV victories.
07:32We've been around since the very first SCAV.
07:34I think there was, like, a five-, six-year streak
07:36of winning first place in, like, the late aughts, early 2010s.
07:40Before last year, I would say most people's perception
07:43of Snitchcock SCAV was a force to be reckoned with.
07:46We got the best!
07:48We got the best!
07:50Last year, with the encampments on campus,
07:54we decided to withdraw the team.
07:56We're trying to recover, rebuild,
07:58figure out who we are without an alumni identity.
08:01Mindless chanting! Mindless chanting!
08:05I'm really not sure about our chances of winning,
08:08because I truly don't know how many people
08:10are actually on the team this year.
08:11We've sort of just been communicating through, like,
08:13emails and a Discord server.
08:15But we do have a good crop of first years,
08:17so I am not predicting any sort of, like, terminal decline.
08:21I am running off copies of the list,
08:23so we don't have to work off of the same original
08:26as we scan the list for timed items,
08:28for captain's costumes,
08:30for anything that's going to require attention right now.
08:32Can we take this apart?
08:33Yeah, sure.
08:34Which one's at Union City?
08:36Anyone want to take a type?
08:37We want to rip these out.
08:38Yeah.
08:39For ripping them out.
08:40I'm going to get a computer and start transcribing,
08:42or do we have access?
08:43Yeah.
08:45SCAV-Olympics.
08:47Showcase.
08:49Items.
08:50An item is something on the list
08:52that SCAV-Olympics have to do, find, complete.
08:56And when they complete that item,
08:58they bring it to judgment,
08:59and it is evaluated for points.
09:0155 points to get a horse in the Hutchinson courtyard.
09:05We know somebody who might be able to do that for us.
09:09500 points, but it's, like, more points or bigger.
09:13Blow up a car.
09:17500 points.
09:18500 points.
09:19I mean, Tom Clarkson.
09:20Wait, wait, wait, wait.
09:21I was going to email a bunch of, like,
09:23anyone at the fire department would love to have a wrecked car.
09:26Oh.
09:27To blow up a car.
09:28Eli, what's our budget?
09:29Like, unreasonable to a reasonable extent, let's say.
09:31Just have to get it approved.
09:32Just get it approved.
09:33Do you think we can buy an ambulance?
09:35Yeah.
09:36Oh, are you thinking about a car one?
09:37We're not like, no, we're, we, we.
09:38We're blowing up an ambulance.
09:39We're very rough.
09:40A doja shroud of Dodge Robert Zimmer.
09:42Oh, my God.
09:43Hope Larpy's going to love this one.
09:44Find if anyone you know has connections to the Annapolis museum.
09:46If you somehow get the moon, you get, like, 50 quadrillion points.
09:49And so, our plan is to find a museum with a piece of moon in it
09:51and somehow bring, like, a particle back.
09:53Guys!
09:54Guys, I have a better idea.
09:55I have a better idea.
09:56I have a better idea.
09:57We go to the judges, Justin.
09:58I believe that's what they're looking for.
10:00The way the points work is they can give partial credit for points.
10:17So, points are determined based on team's completions of items,
10:20team's completions of items so the quality of their completions maybe like the timeliness whether
10:25they were able to participate it depends on the judge who wrote the item to point that item so we
10:31just got back from list release we got the list i don't know why it's orange but so what we've done
10:36is we've separated it up into individual pages and everybody is now on the ground typing up their
10:44individual page and putting it into our excel spreadsheet so i am transcribing all of the
10:50items into this sheet that we've set up and i am typing up the word for word the item on the list
10:58putting it into our spreadsheet so we're marking what page it's on the task number type of item
11:03the number of points what type of event it is when is it due and status do we have enough people
11:10involved in it this is the most important is when we're estimating what's the amount of
11:14points per time that we're going to have i think 348 items on the list so by the end of the night
11:20we will have this entire spreadsheet filled out for the entire list the hard thing about the list
11:26at this point is that a lot of it's in coded language almost like we have hot sharklet which
11:32i'm guessing is like shark hot chocolate but we need to figure out how much and what we need to put
11:36in to get that done page 10 of the list is only the letter h there's some amount of marker on it as
11:43if they're trying to hide something else on top of this letter h to my knowledge it is not referenced
11:50in any of the other clues and it's just its own page which is weird because it's usually one judge
11:57is sort of in charge of each page and so that would mean that there's one judge who's in just sole job
12:02is the h christian what is the deal with the h what is the deal with the h i feel like you know as long
12:15as the scavenger hunt has existed you know it's an evolutionary arms race between the judges and the
12:20scavies so you know we come up with ideas they think that they understand our our ways our ticks our
12:26in-jokes um and occasionally you have to rattle the cages you know keep them kind of on their toes
12:31for now i i'm completely lost how many helipads do you need to run to this track what if you like
12:37just go to like 10. it's gotta be a long one will they let me go on a helipad because i say
12:43i'm an umt and i don't hide this vest on maybe um we are challenged to make a penis layout keyboard um
12:50and we also have to be able to type on it so this is a custom keyboard that i actually built i am
12:54arranging the keycaps into say penis and oral and then i'm gonna actually go work and code
13:00the the pcb on this and we should be feeling good for tomorrow is this your art is controlling this
13:06costume item 180 the end is not the only thing that's nigh that's why your team captains turned
13:12doomsday prophets are wearing sandwich boards that loudly predict in extremely shocking detail the world
13:18any capacity that may happen the end of four days and what we as a society must do to prevent it
13:22from happening one of the first things a team needs to do is make their captain's costumes captains
13:27wear them to captain's breakfast on thursday morning and then have to wear it throughout the hunt
13:31the captain's costumes this year are sandwich boards that give each team's end of world proclamation
13:38that's it that's it and and we all we need remora on the back board of our sandwich boards we
13:42want a little fish sticking onto us sure wait so do we have to make this now uh i'm by by tomorrow
13:51time to do this is that one for me this is the obligatory do not try this at home part
13:59honestly i was gonna try to make this look pretty but i think like the
14:02falling apart look is a little bit better for end of the world
14:24hell yeah it's amazing i'll figure it out it's fine i'll figure it out
14:29one down one to go you get one draw i have not yet should i like your dead mouth wait let me
14:39i was on max p last year and we ended up winning scab that year it wasn't that big of a team this is a
14:44bigger team than that there's so many people and i think that we also have people out of
14:49new chicago that are here a few which is nice it shows dedication i feel good about south chance
14:54we got second last year i think we have a good chance
14:59how's the energy in here does it how does it compare to what you sort of imagined the first
15:03night would be like is this is this expected i usually excited a little bit more people but
15:07it's also understandable like there's still classes for two more days so i'd imagine things will probably
15:12pick up on friday when everyone's on the classes now finally uh the only excuse are probably a little bit
15:19busier but i imagine a lot of people are probably sleeping i feel good we had more representation at
15:26this release than we've ever had in years before and also just more than any other team there
15:30tonight so i'm getting a lot of people that stuck around afterward that are like even still helping
15:34out it's really exciting to see so many people invested already it is at this point getting pretty
15:41late our goal is to finish up these captain's costumes as quickly as we can and then get to sleep
15:48i'm gonna have to wake up early to go to captain's breakfast tomorrow everybody else
15:51can wake up a little later and we keep going in the morning
16:11the end is time
16:21so a thursday is pretty busy for the scabbies we start with captain's breakfast bright and early
16:40at 8 00 a.m which is rough considering they just stayed up all night doing list release captain's
16:47breakfast as it is every year is a time for the judges to tell us what they actually meant by some
16:53of the items item 86 this is i believe with a cease and desist letter uh no disney it was tuesday
17:00item 87 it's a spot where we can ask questions as well as several physical objects to do with various
17:08items are distributed so right here in front of us we have a contract it's a bill of sale for one
17:15eternal soul item 210 your soul for points i mean this item is pretty simple i am buying their soul
17:23four points and it is legally binding um everybody can get a contract and uh have fun with this
17:31what just remember uh nobody can make you sell your soul you don't have to well i've been waiting for
17:38a chance to sell my sliver points but once you've got years after that we've got several events there
17:44are a number of items that are not due at judgment but take place during the hunt so these are called
17:50events on your marks get ready begin and they involve scavies bringing stuff doing certain activities
18:02at a certain time and place listed on the list during the hunt
18:12it is definitely important to get people at events
18:15my page on its own has like six or seven timed items that are not due at judgment which makes
18:20up a very solid amount of the points on that page it would be really difficult for a team to win
18:25without going to events
18:27are you all familiar with the song it's raining men
18:44take that as a yes i will see you at 6 25 with recorders in hand to play it's raining men do you
18:50have sheet music you know it's day one i've heard that day one's going great so far
19:11we're doing better than we were thursday last year yeah the fact that we have already 10 things done
19:17and it's not even 5 pm on thursday is very you know nice it's good christian enough to tell me how
19:24to cite bible verses like but i think we need maybe more bubble blowing mix is this is this
19:31an item or just for like team morale just swim i'm still like yeah i haven't eaten enough today
19:36i haven't slept enough today how much did you sleep yeah an hour and a half oh so you're winning
19:42do you want sandwiches earlier and i'll get a mixture of things and you'll all figure it out
19:47rather than telling me what you want i'm jason uh i'm the resident dean here at max plebski uh bizardy's
19:54we have like a pretty big budget and we do programming for the whole dorms one of the best things about
19:58the job is to get to do scav i was so surprised when we won last year we had like never ever won
20:04i can't not feel like it's a bit of a fluke because we're just barely controlled chaos the entire time
20:10we're not like trying to optimize points we're just trying to like just do a bunch of in my
20:15haste to put together vanilla ice cream croutons peanut butter and black pepper i misread black
20:23pepper as black beans and have constructed something unholy
20:32i'd hate to think that we just win because we have the biggest team if we were to win again which i
20:36don't think we're gonna do but like if just like providing a cool environment to hang out and like
20:41eat food and build weird things works to get people then that would be great this is for number 63 this
20:48is the flirty bop it i'm gonna wire it up to this microcontroller have these buttons i think
20:53something and we're gonna make it moan we're gonna make it okay fine i don't know what item this is
20:58but it asks for a pair of jeans with the muscles like the veins and arteries and the reproductive
21:04system embroidered onto it so this was the big project of today this is candy glass
21:11our first goal is to use it and craft xylophone uh like tiles out of this that we can tune and turn
21:17into a christmas song we're playing jingle bells uh so we've kind of like mapped out the notes of
21:22jingle bells um this is like the drone system it's weird being the like whatever the elder who like
21:39knows how things work because often the students are like what should we do should we light things
21:44on fire and i'm like no the judges don't actually want you to do anything unsafe like there's a blow
21:48up a car uh item this year which we've had like a ton of arguments about and many of the students
21:53really want to find a way to actually blow up a literal car and i'm like there's so many permits
21:59you need i can't imagine that's what the judges want talk to me about what your vision is my vision
22:03for this item is that someone blows up a real car judge alex has made it abundantly clear that this
22:09has to be exploding a car in the most literal sense this is not there is no metaphor there's no
22:15trickery there's no cleverness here this is truly just grit and convincing people that we aren't insane
22:22hello sir um i have a very strange request i i so i was curious if you all do sell like um junked cars
22:34yes um do you have a sense of kind of the price range of what what that might entail okay okay 700
22:44okay thank you so much i really appreciate it i suppose that went as well as it could have gone
22:50um it's a little more expensive than i think we were planning on so we'll have to see if that's within
22:55our budget it's again that's quite expensive but it's basically a guaranteed win if we if we i mean
23:01not a guarantee that like but but but that's gonna put us like 500 points is gonna is wild that's a lot
23:06of points where would you blow it up that's phase two of the play do you have access to explosives
23:16that's phase three of the plan this is a very half-baked plan but at least we have a possibility
23:23of getting a car so that is that is there is a a path that is somewhat clear
23:31we are hoping to make it out to as many of the time items and events today as we can we are
23:52a somewhat smaller team than people like south max p we can't do everything this year we know we can't do
23:59everything and so we have to pick and choose our battles the goal is over the hunt to have more
24:06people come in engage with scav engage with the list we also encourage participation by providing food
24:14we aim to just like keep getting our message out to the dorm to the team more broadly uh build energy
24:21and get something snowballing through the four days got a performance event in 25 minutes
24:30and needs to dramatically perform the second sex terrifying
24:39yeah yeah it's i got something at 3 45 this morning it's all clean nice
24:45i have to say i was hooping for
25:15some people to come out and make a stronger showing I remain hopeful for
25:25future events but this was not what we were hoping or planning for Thursday
25:43night event is our first major event we not only expect people to send their
25:49representatives and often use a fair amount of team resources to put together
25:54some kind of performance typically
26:13so
26:25So this year's Thursday night event is the Scholars Read Aloud.
26:52Scholars Read Aloud is Scabby's reading aloud classic texts, even though these texts are very much not meant to be read aloud.
27:01Let me consider for a moment the predicaments found in the study of the origin of language.
27:07The equality of all sorts of human labor is expressed objectively by their products, all being equally valued.
27:12We self-conscious Americans' oversensitivity to real humans fixes us for the television.
27:18Max P. had a wonderful performance of Nietzsche.
27:29They got into the psychology of the Nietzsche piece and also had a great ending that was very surprising and fun.
27:38God is dead.
27:50Snitchcock with The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir.
27:55Snitchcock had a perfectly alright performance.
27:58So the relation between the two sexes is a relation of struggle.
28:03They did not blow me away.
28:05They didn't have many people with them.
28:07But I think they did their best with what they had.
28:11And they were pretty creative with it.
28:13I have faith as the soul of the essential.
28:15Thank you, Snitchcock.
28:26On deck, South.
28:31South, they did not do a performance.
28:34I don't know what happened with them.
28:36We did give them a reading.
28:37They did say that they were present.
28:39But it's possible that they were merely there for the earlier event that was opening.
28:45They may not have been there even to do the performance at all.
28:49What is the points impact of South not performing at the Bruising of the Knights?
28:56It's pretty substantial.
28:57But not, you know, devastating.
28:59They can do other things to make up for it.
29:01There are other large items that they can complete.
29:04But it is an event that will be completed by most teams.
29:09And so by missing it, you miss out on the amount of points that most other teams will have gotten.
29:15Wonderful event.
29:15Thank you all.
29:16And clap for yourselves again.
29:23Down to, like, even this outside a little bit.
29:26If you're way out there, it sticks so far out.
29:28Could you talk us through how the, like, performance event was supposed to go and then how it went?
29:36We were each given texts that we had to do a dramatic reading of.
29:44And unfortunately, South just didn't complete that part of it.
29:48They just weren't able to get some of it?
29:50Yeah.
29:52And people were busy doing other things, I guess.
29:54You know, we had a lot of people at List Release, and I was really, really pumped about that.
29:59Um, and comparatively, today has been much slower.
30:03Cure things happening, less noise.
30:05And I'm okay with that.
30:06I don't mind.
30:07Um, I'm sure it will get, it will get busy again.
30:11Here, it does not matter.
30:12Do you want to go, like...
30:13Wait, Maddie, come here.
30:14Wait, let me find, I feel like I can probably do something on this PDF.
30:17Like, I feel like, you know...
30:18No, look at this, look at this.
30:19Blow up a car?
30:20Wait.
30:21Who, do you have a car?
30:23Ellie!
30:25The spreadsheet's really confusing, I'm going to be so honest, but...
30:28Wait, for 41, if I'm just drinking and smoking, that's, like, that's crossed off?
30:34Well, I can do that for you right now.
30:36Uh, that one's already asleep.
30:37Ugh.
30:38Damn it.
30:39Can you check on the spreadsheet to see if people have already done anything?
30:43What is it?
30:44Yeah, I was just, like, saying it out loud before I checked.
30:47I'm just kind of reading through the list.
30:51It smells like hell in here.
30:53Oh!
30:54Okay, I'm really bored of this.
30:56I got it.
30:57And, Tari, you want to hear my belly?
30:58Oh, my God!
30:59I did something bad, Isabel.
31:02What'd you do?
31:02Break it away from the fire.
31:03I burnt so big.
31:06So, yeah.
31:06So, you kind of have to attend to that.
31:09We're in our upstairs.
31:10This has been gross.
31:11I'm sorry.
31:12I'm hindu.
31:12It's so much better.
31:13We're done.
31:14This was unfun.
31:15I added some bell peppers.
31:16Hopefully it overcomes the fall.
31:17It's, like, wet.
31:18Wait, my chocolate!
31:23I forgot my chocolate.
31:26See you guys.
31:31Is there any chance that your friend might have possibly eaten the chocolate we were using for an item?
31:38Yeah.
31:39Okay.
31:40Cool.
31:41Thoughts out.
31:45I just don't pretend that it is.
31:46Wait.
31:47What's that?
31:47So, let's back up a little bit.
31:50So, we have multiple people on our team that are friends of Palace, who's another captain.
31:55But, they aren't UChicago students.
31:58And, a lot of, I think some of the, like, the freshmen are not super, well, a lot of people are not super happy about it.
32:04You mentioned that there are a lot of people in the room who don't know each other that well.
32:09One of them is telling me that they know you from Twitter.
32:13Yes, that is Twitter is how I meet, you know, a lot of people.
32:18I don't have many friends who are on this team who aren't at the school, but there are a few.
32:23And, you know, they have been some of the biggest point-getters, because they're really passionate about it.
32:31I think the big thing is the base of the team is, like, this comfortable, like, this cohesive, I guess, this collective identity of being the neighbors.
32:38Yeah.
32:38And, like, they're not neighbors.
32:40We don't know them.
32:41It's, like, it's just not working.
32:43I don't think it's gonna, I think it's more pushing people out than the value of, like, six weeks.
32:47You know, I suspect that Palace is just under a win-at-all-cost mentality, while the rest of us are kind of at a, let's try to do a RGC East and West collab.
32:57Everybody has thrown together mentality, and that might be the issue.
33:00For now, it's like a priority is making sure to get people in our dorm feeling included so they don't feel pushed out of their own scab team.
33:06And to talk to Palace and talk to the people there to figure out what's going on.
33:09Okay, does Palace manage the money?
33:11Yes, Palace is a treasure.
33:13Cool, got it.
33:13I'll talk to them first about getting the car.
33:15Yes.
33:16Are we actually blowing up the car?
33:18Yes.
33:19Other dorms are.
33:20They're going to, they're going to, they're going to Indiana.
33:22They're going to Indiana.
33:23That's like, yeah.
33:23So, let's not hear your addiction.
33:25I don't know if it helps that they're going to Indiana to open things up.
33:28Okay, are you guys going to the same?
33:29Yeah, let's do it.
33:30Okay.
33:36Um, I found a car for $400 that's in like Southview, we're in seven miles away.
33:48In other words, it's like 20 miles away for $200.
33:51Um, how would you describe the energy in here?
33:54Yeah, I think everyone's like getting excited about the list, which is really fun.
33:58Yeah, maybe like finding items that they're interested in or like finding things that they can do, which is always like a good time.
34:03Blowing up a car.
34:04That's the, I don't know.
34:05It's what we're currently doing.
34:06It says, it says, I have found, I don't know, it says bigger, you can possibly blow up a Toyota car and you get points, but the bigger the car, the more points you get.
34:15Are you making this noise?
34:16No, this is the action.
34:17It is good to come back and see a vibrant war room.
34:22I hope and think we're going to be able to ride this wave for a time.
34:25I think no matter how it turns out, something of a new order for Scav is going to be established this year.
34:34Snitchcock having been dominant for like the past 10 years, that age is over.
34:42I think we certainly have a chance to place.
34:47I'm not sure that it's going to be in the cards for us to win, but we're going to give it our all.
34:54What?
34:55There's the compass and the compass.
35:02By the way, I'm not writing the numbers.
35:04You've got to like, yeah, go on.
35:06Oh.
35:06This is what we're here for.
35:09This is what we're here for?
35:10Yeah.
35:10To all the haters who say you can't learn how to taxidermy a mouse on YouTube,
35:38it's because your attitude's not right.
35:42Oh, that is horrible.
35:45Well, I think drizzle might not work.
35:47Yeah, I know.
35:48I know it'll work.
35:51Excellent.
35:52Just pour some blue or something.
35:55Let's figure it out.
35:56Okay, you ready?
35:56Core exercise, you ready?
35:57Okay, stiffness to core, line as a feather.
36:00Okay, now we need to flip.
36:01Flip and drop or like flip, wait, wait, flip, flip, flip, wait.
36:04No, don't drop yet.
36:05Okay, ready?
36:05Flip your side.
36:06Pick me up.
36:07I think maybe I have a career in surgery.
36:10Yippee!
36:15This is absolutely wild.
36:18Like people always ask me what the coolest or wildest scab item is.
36:22And everyone falls to like the medium thing.
36:25But I think having a team member like skin a mouse.
36:28Ready, now drop.
36:29Finger at three, two, four.
36:30You ready?
36:31Go.
36:33I am risen.
36:34It could be any car.
36:54All of them are...
36:56Like, I'm kind of scared.
37:08Okay, um, probably be like, hopefully only a few more minutes.
37:13Hi, my name is Captain Bubbles or Thomas.
37:17I'm a captain for Veloy's Boys.
37:19Veloy's Boys is a group of alums who have scabbed together for a long time.
37:24Kind of born out of a two friends' desire to keep on scabbing, but didn't really have a dorm team.
37:30So we kind of were like, let's just make our own team.
37:33Today, we are blowing up a car.
37:35We're going to be like, oh, my God.
38:05And now.
38:06We're going to be like, oh, my God.
38:07Look, Mike.
38:07Maybe gosh.
38:08It was, but...
38:08If it's...
38:09...
38:11If it's...
38:26A little sich is...
38:29Oh, my God.
