00:00And this is the same person we're talking about right here?
00:17Yeah.
00:18What is going on?
00:19It looks to me like it was bad, and he ended up dead.
00:21We're kind of going through all the contacts to find out who could have done this to him.
00:27So that's what I was talking to you, because he's not here to tell us that he knows exactly
00:37what happened.
00:38It's true, but you don't know.
00:40I don't believe that's true.
00:42I received a call from our dispatch to check on the well-being of Mr. Wilson.
01:00The front door was unlocked.
01:02Walking into the back bedroom, we located Mr. Wilson on the bed.
01:07There was a lot of dried blood coming out of his mouth, down his chest.
01:10It had pooled in his lap and also under his head.
01:15There was blood clearly on the ceiling and wall and soaking the mattress.
01:20It looked like he had been inside the home for a few days, deceased.
01:32We found that Steve was stabbed four times in the back and shoulders, and then four times
01:37in the neck and head area.
01:39The fatal wound was to his spine.
01:41The stab wounds were, you know, so severe they broke through bones.
01:47There was no forced entry at the residence, but we did locate some watch boxes that were
01:54emptied out on the vanity.
01:56We could never locate those in the home, so we assumed they had been stolen.
02:01As we continued the investigation, I noticed that all of the cigarette butts were white,
02:07marble cigarette butts.
02:09But when I opened the lid to the ashtray and the cup holder, there was one brown, cool cigarette butt.
02:16I believe that it had to have been recent.
02:20The DNA from the cigarette butt may point us towards a suspect.
02:25The one thing that stood out were some cash app transfers to a person named Daniel Diamond
02:44around the time that we believe he died.
02:47We learned that she was an escort that Steve Wilson liked to frequent, and she would come
02:52to his house.
02:54We started to recognize that that's going to be her street name.
02:58In just a Google search, located in some selfie photographs of a white female with red hair.
03:05We entered into a mugshot recognition program, and we were able to match it to Paige Lane.
03:13Paige had an extensive criminal history.
03:17She was an escort, and she frequents hotels around the St. Louis County area.
03:23I also found body camera video with her.
03:26Police department.
03:27Is there anybody else in there?
03:29Yeah.
03:30Who is in there?
03:31My boyfriend.
03:32There was a black male in the room with her with the name of Sydney Bias.
03:37You have a probation violation.
03:39We've got to give you a new court date, and I know you're also soliciting.
03:42Sydney Bias had an extensive criminal history of violence and drug-related offenses.
03:47He was a documented gang member with gangster disciples, and he goes by the name of King.
03:52We believe that he was Paige Lane's pimp.
03:56On the night that Steve died, she had progressively gotten closer and closer to the house until she was just outside of Steve Wilson's home.
04:16We were able to go obtain video footage from those locations.
04:21We saw that she had left a hotel on March 31st at around 11 p.m.
04:27She was with a person who appeared to be Sydney Bias.
04:32A mile away from Steven Wilson's house in Wentzville, Paige was seen at the gas station.
04:39When the tags were ran, we came up with the name of Sydney Bias as the owner of the vehicle.
04:46However, we could not determine if Sydney Bias was actually with her during that time at the gas station.
04:53Long time no see.
04:54A little bit.
04:55Yeah.
04:56Cool Blue 100, please.
04:57Cool Blue.
04:58We discovered she had purchased a pack of cigarettes.
05:01We recognized immediately that the cigarettes that were recovered on scene matched the same pack of cigarettes that she had just purchased.
05:07Shortly after that, we found a text message from her to an unknown number stating, I'm going to kill him.
05:16She returned to that hotel around 4 a.m. wearing different clothes.
05:22The DNA was a match to Paige Lane.
05:34We put all manpower into locating her.
05:37We found Steve had text conversations with Paige Lane to the fact that he had given her money to help out with her children.
05:54I think he almost thought that they were like boyfriend and girlfriend.
05:58But in the recent weeks, Steve Wilson seemed pretty upset.
06:05He accused her of leading him on to gain more money from him.
06:12And then shortly after that, we had messages sent by Steve asking other people to post negative reviews on her escort ads.
06:23Steven was trying to burn her pages.
06:26Burning an escort's page limits what type of clientele they get.
06:30Steve is taking away her business.
06:32If she was not able to earn money, then she wouldn't have been any good to Sydney, her pimp.
06:37Between the two of them, that would definitely be a motive to kill Steve.
06:42Steve was just like a kid at heart. He was so happy.
06:47Steve's daughter was his entire world.
06:50He was at every activity that she had going on. He didn't miss not one.
06:56He had pictures posted everywhere around all her accomplishments and how her grades were doing.
07:02He was a proud father.
07:04And he loved rehabbing those cars.
07:07And he really had his heart set out to fix them for his daughter.
07:10He's like, when she turned 16, this car's hers. This car's hers.
07:14She was everything to him. And he got taken away. He got taken away.
07:20They believe Page Lane was residing at a hotel near the airport in St. Louis.
07:39About 45 minutes into doing this actual surveillance, we observed Page Lane leaving the hotel with Sydney by us.
07:48Police units converged on their vehicle, and we were able to take Sydney and Page Lane into custody.
07:57We kept them completely separate from one another the entire time.
08:07We knew that if he was involved or had any involvement in telling her to do this, that it would be very difficult for us to get that out of her.
08:15Because there's a fear relationship between her and her pimp.
08:24The challenge is that Sydney had an extensive criminal history.
08:27He's been through this before.
08:29They were looking to feel him out first to see how he was going to react.
08:34So, who were you with today whenever you got picked up?
08:43Page.
08:44Page.
08:45What page is last name?
08:47Lane.
08:49Is that your girlfriend of yours, or how are you guys associated with each other?
08:56Straight up, Lane.
08:57Certainly.
08:58Be on and off sometime.
08:59I have six.
09:00They'll probably do it.
09:01Okay.
09:02What does Page do?
09:03Does Page work?
09:04He would have an answer.
09:05I don't want to, like...
09:06I don't want to...
09:07I know she got a one.
09:08I just don't want to get nobody.
09:09We know what Page does.
09:10Alright.
09:11Um, there's...
09:12I mean, so we can talk open and honestly about it.
09:13I know she solicits herself.
09:14Okay.
09:15For...
09:16For...
09:17For...
09:18For...
09:19For...
09:20For...
09:21For...
09:22For...
09:23For...
09:24For...
09:25Alright.
09:26You can...
09:27Would you say that you help her manage that?
09:30No.
09:31Not her job?
09:32No, no, no, no.
09:33Okay.
09:34Nope.
09:35Nope.
09:36Nothing to do with it.
09:37Never ever?
09:38No.
09:39This is...
09:40This has something to do with solicitation or something?
09:41So what, man?
09:42It's a little bit more serious than solicitation.
09:44Okay.
09:45You know...
09:46You know what's happening right here?
09:47I know.
09:48Never ever.
09:49Never ever seen that man.
09:50Never.
09:51You never seen me?
09:52Never.
09:53Never.
09:54But have you ever heard of the name...
09:55Steve Wilson?
09:56No.
09:59No.
10:00No.
10:01The man, she knows.
10:02Nobody's gonna come from me.
10:03I don't know about...
10:04We're investigating the homicide.
10:07Okay.
10:08I'm not involved in no homicide with nobody...
10:11This...
10:12This person right here?
10:13I don't even know him.
10:15I never seen him.
10:16He never seen me.
10:17I don't even know him.
10:18And we have...
10:19Okay.
10:20And we have...
10:21Maybe I don't have nothing to do with me, though.
10:22That's not true, though.
10:23We know that's not true.
10:24Okay.
10:25I don't...
10:26I don't...
10:27There's nothing I can tell you, because I don't know nothing about this.
10:28And I know y'all.
10:29Y'all got to be lying.
10:30You think we would be lying about something of this magnitude?
10:34Yes.
10:35We do have a lot of evidence that suggests that you are involved in a homicide.
10:50Okay.
10:51You can't.
10:52Hang on one second.
10:53You can't.
10:54What capacity?
10:55We don't know.
10:56You can't.
10:57This...
10:58This would be your opportunity to go ahead and come clean...
11:00You can't.
11:01...and tell us what capacity you're involved.
11:03I don't know this person.
11:04Do you remember any?
11:05Did you know what was going to happen when you went up there?
11:08It would have been in the middle of last week.
11:10Hmm.
11:11You weren't out here in the middle of the night?
11:13In Winfield?
11:14Hmm.
11:15Might as well.
11:16F*** out.
11:17Who would it?
11:18It was pretty easy to recognize that he didn't want to provide any information,
11:22especially about Paige.
11:24Between his drugs, his escort bracket, and this murder being investigated,
11:30there's little incentive for him to talk to us.
11:32Hey, yo.
11:33I don't even know this person.
11:34It seems like y'all trying to, like, frame me for something, to be honest.
11:38Oh, my God!
11:39You got them f***ing nuts!
11:42We'll be right back with you, buddy.
11:45He was not intent on cooperating in any fashion, but we wanted to keep him to see if
11:51any information would come alight from Paige's interview.
11:54Our hope was that she would give us information putting him at the scene or involved in Steve
11:59Wilson's murder in some fashion.
12:01All right.
12:02Now we can.
12:03Here we want to talk about.
12:04So.
12:05What was his name?
12:06Oh.
12:07We got here this way.
12:08King.
12:09Yes.
12:10Oh, you know by King?
12:11Well, I mean, that's what I call him.
12:12Uh, so, who was he to you?
12:14That's, uh, the man who raised my son.
12:15That's not his grandfather.
12:16No.
12:17He helped me.
12:18So do you guys live together or stay together?
12:19No.
12:20Uh-huh.
12:21Because you ride with them today.
12:22Do you ride with them often, or?
12:23No, not really.
12:24Okay.
12:25We've been broke up since mid last year.
12:27There's no other friends of yours that might give you some money or help you off financially?
12:44Um, I mean like, I had like, no, uh, that's like a sugar daddy for a while.
12:51Like she would say, quote unquote.
12:52Uh, I mean sugar daddy, what are you talking about?
12:53Like, um, he would send me money, um, help me with my kids, help me get around.
12:54Who was that?
12:55Um, his name was Keith, and I don't know his last name though.
12:56But I haven't seen him because I haven't been talking to him, and like, uh, what did I go
13:13see?
13:14Maybe everywhere?
13:15And this is the same person we're talking about right here?
13:24Yes.
13:25She says that she last met with Steve in February, but we know that she was meeting with him
13:31in March and getting money from him in March.
13:34We knew she was lying the whole time right off the get-go.
13:37He had a lot of contact with a lot of people.
13:40Right.
13:41You ever seen anybody at his house when you were over there?
13:43Uh-uh.
13:44No, but like I've had, like, other girls call me because, like, he messaged a whole bunch
13:48of- because he was mad at me.
13:49Yeah.
13:50Like, he messaged a whole bunch of girls, like other workers, and told them to set me up,
13:56to-
13:57Set you up like what?
13:58Like, like, to, uh, beat me up, to, uh, oh, she robbed me, you know?
14:02No.
14:03And girls are-
14:04A girl who set you up to beat you up?
14:06Yeah.
14:07Like, yeah.
14:08And to burn, like, quote unquote, burn my page.
14:10You know, I would say, um, this, that, you know, or whatever.
14:13Because, like, he was mad.
14:14What is going on?
14:15We're kind of going through all those contacts to find out who was the last people there.
14:19Okay.
14:20You know, that could have done this to him.
14:22Could have done this.
14:23So, that's what we're talking to you.
14:25Okay.
14:26Because, uh, we believe you're one of the last people there.
14:29Oh.
14:30Okay.
14:31Right when he brings up about, we're investigating something with Steve.
14:36Then, all of a sudden, both shoes come flying off.
14:40The nervous twitches with her are all over the place.
14:43Most people that are innocent, they are not so fidgety, you know?
14:49Okay.
14:50So, I want to catch up here.
14:51Uh, that's a different one.
14:52That's a camera.
14:53That's a camera.
14:54That's right.
14:55We're going to make that up.
14:56On your phone.
14:57That's maybe there.
14:58Uh-huh.
14:59You know, we located some documents that we have some questions about.
15:04One of which was this one right here.
15:08What is this?
15:09Okay.
15:10It's the exact screenshot.
15:12Okay.
15:13From your account on March 31st at 2346, which is 1146.
15:23Uh-huh.
15:24Okay.
15:25Yeah, that's a hit house.
15:27Okay.
15:28So, that's what I'm asking about.
15:29You said you weren't there since February.
15:31Right.
15:32I went down the street and picked up another girl.
15:34That was a hit house?
15:35Yes.
15:36And she didn't have a right.
15:37Was this other girl seeing Steve?
15:40Yes.
15:41And who is she?
15:43Uh-huh.
15:44But she goes by Niche.
15:46Niche?
15:47Yes.
15:48So, where did you start her up at?
15:50Uh, at the end of the road.
15:52So, you didn't fall in the driveway?
15:53No.
15:54No.
15:55You didn't go in his house?
15:56No.
15:57This was from the cloud.
15:58Okay.
15:59From your old phone.
16:00Okay.
16:01The location that you're telling us doesn't match up.
16:03I didn't know exactly what happened, you know.
16:06I sat in the passenger seat and waited for it.
16:09Where?
16:10In the driveway.
16:11In the driveway.
16:12In the driveway?
16:13Yeah.
16:14What did you do during that time?
16:15Uh, sat there and talked on the phone and played on it.
16:20Was he then with you there?
16:21No.
16:22No.
16:23He was not there.
16:24Okay.
16:25So, none of the area checks for the device IDs or anything like that is going to show him
16:29being there?
16:30Uh, no.
16:31No.
16:32He wasn't with me.
16:33Not at the street or anything like that?
16:34Up the street?
16:35Uh, he went somewhere and went a little bit like I didn't connect with him or anything.
16:40Okay.
16:41Do you still look like you're there?
16:42No.
16:43Uh, I mean, in the car.
16:46Yeah.
16:47So, you're telling me you were not in his house?
16:49No, I was in his house since February.
16:50Right.
16:51So, you understand that anything that you touch leaves DNA, right?
16:55Mm-hmm.
16:56That's only unique to you.
16:57Mm-hmm.
16:58I did not go in that house.
16:59You didn't?
17:00I did not go in that house.
17:01Okay.
17:02No.
17:03Okay.
17:04No.
17:05No.
17:06Because, Steve's not here to tell us.
17:07Okay.
17:08So, that's the problem.
17:10Yeah.
17:11Okay.
17:12I was like, first thing I should think.
17:14Mm-hmm.
17:15Well, I'm not hearing.
17:16Right.
17:17So, that's the problem.
17:18Yeah.
17:19Okay.
17:20I was like, first thing I should think.
17:21Mm-hmm.
17:22Well, I was hearing.
17:23Right.
17:24Yeah.
17:25Okay.
17:26When you bring up Steve's name, it's a, you know, a little laugh.
17:32She's thinking hard now.
17:34The wheels are really turning in her head.
17:36It's the time to really start buckling down on her.
17:40We know you're lying, so you need to start being truthful with us.
17:45Okay.
17:46I'm just telling you that if you're saying you never went in a house at night, the evidence
17:51inside that house from your DNA suggests otherwise.
17:54You have all these phone text messages, all that text messages, all your messages, all
17:59your location data, all the accounts data.
18:02Right.
18:03Correct.
18:04Okay.
18:05And consistently just goes back to you.
18:06I'm hoping everybody who I think had possibly had contact with them during their time frame.
18:11Like, you're teasing me.
18:12Okay.
18:13So, just because someone ends up dying doesn't mean it's a murder.
18:18Obviously, we think it's worse.
18:20Right.
18:21No.
18:22We have to follow the evidence.
18:23No.
18:24I, I definitely, I, I, I understand.
18:26I would love for you to explain to me what happened and how it happened so that I can
18:31understand.
18:32I truly don't know.
18:33I don't believe that's true.
18:35I, I did not know what happened.
18:36Based on the evidence we have, I can tell you this much.
18:39Steve was a funny person.
18:53He was always laughing, always smiling.
18:56But I felt that he was lonely.
18:59He started using other means of dating women.
19:04And I told him that lifestyle that he chose at that particular time, that is a dangerous
19:11thing.
19:12It made no sense at all.
19:23So I just need to understand and be able to reason why you're in the house.
19:28I wasn't.
19:31I wasn't.
19:32I wasn't.
19:33That's, that's not meshing with the evidence we have.
19:36It's one kind of type.
19:37I truly don't need to know what happened.
19:39Like, I'm, I, I, I.
19:42I believe you do know.
19:43But I don't.
19:44I don't.
19:45It's very tough to stay patient when the lies start getting circular and they're not changing.
19:51And you can't break out of that.
19:53It becomes an issue because you're at a dead end.
19:55All right.
19:56I'll be right back.
19:57I'm going to break your phone, okay?
19:58Okay.
19:59So at this point, I asked Detective Sergeant Meyer to be part of the interview.
20:03He has more of a softer approach.
20:05The both of us in there together, maybe she would feel like she had somebody on her side.
20:09I'm sure you guys never talked about this.
20:12No.
20:13Yeah.
20:14When you went out there at the end of March, the end of April, and you were with a friend.
20:18Yeah.
20:19We cheat.
20:20And that's the end of all of us.
20:21So this, this gal that was with you, that you drove out to, uh, to Steve's house.
20:27Mm-hmm.
20:28You don't know her real name or anything like that?
20:31No, I don't know.
20:32No one, no.
20:33So that night, they just knocked her out.
20:35Did you get a hold of her?
20:36How did she get a hold of you?
20:37She had one of my phone.
20:39But so I let her have it that night.
20:42There was ongoing messages between this account back and forth.
20:47The last text from that thread said, I'm going to kill them.
20:49They were sent from a text app registered to this Gmail.
20:55Okay.
20:56So who would have sent those?
20:58Uh, like I said, she had my other phone.
21:02There was, I, there was a app, you know, so she could text her client.
21:06Well, she's not texting that.
21:08Right.
21:09No, she told me she, no, she told me she got done with this too.
21:12So you're saying that's the only possibility that it was her texting this though?
21:16Yeah, because I did not.
21:18And then she wrote out there with you.
21:20Right.
21:21Yeah.
21:22She said she had a visit out there.
21:23Yes.
21:24Okay.
21:25Do you understand why it's a really important breath to get a hold of, of this Ness, her
21:30mom, her mom?
21:31Yes.
21:32Yes.
21:33Yes.
21:34My life.
21:35Right.
21:36So.
21:37My freedom.
21:38My kids.
21:39Ness was, I swear, I swear, I swear I'm not going to lie.
21:45I don't, I don't know what it is.
21:46I need you to help piece it together.
21:47So we can.
21:48I literally tell you what I know.
21:50I'm not going to take the rap for any less.
21:51I hope.
21:52I don't know what it is.
21:53I need you to help piece it together.
21:54So we can.
21:55I literally tell you what I know.
21:56I'm not going to take the rap for any less.
21:57I just.
21:58I hope.
21:59I'm going to move my baby.
22:00I'm going to move my kids.
22:01I want.
22:02together so we can understand. I'm literally trying to do what I know. I'm not going to take the rap for anyone. I live with my face. I live with my kids. I want my life better. Your kids need you. Let's get to the truth. We need to find the story that actually fits the facts and that's what we're trying to do.
22:27You know what I'm saying? I'll meet you first time. Okay. You understand what you're saying? Okay. Yeah, no, I just, I, I, I do, I do. I just, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't.
22:47In a setting like that, the table creates a barrier between you and them. So I made a decision to move my chair closer to her. I don't want to be behind the table. I want to open up to her as I want her to open up to me. Here I am. Focus on me. Tell me what happened.
23:06Something happened that night. I didn't need to figure it out. Okay. That you're in the house. Okay. We got to get past the, your story. Okay. The story's broken. It doesn't, doesn't fit.
23:21That's science talking. That's not me thinking this or him thinking that. That's science. Okay. How did you go? What time did you go into the house?
23:30I saw him earlier that day. I popped up. I saw him. That's it. Like, I don't know. Like, during the day, yeah, day late.
23:44Who did you go out there with during the night? Myself.
23:47But you went out to the house earlier in the day and you saw him. What time?
23:53He messaged me. He messaged me. He actually called me saying, like, he broke his foot. And I guess I felt bad for him. Like, I said, I guess I always messaged him. You know, like, I usually like felt bad for him. You know, like, I don't know.
24:09Did Steve being around there give you anything? Any jewelry? Any mementos? Any items? Any money? Anything like that? Did he give you anything when you were there?
24:20No. Do you think at all? No.
24:23When I was out of the room, we learned that when the investigators initially went to Paige's hotel room, they found several watches.
24:30We knew at Steve Wilson's home, there was a large jewelry box, which the jewelry was clearly missing out of.
24:37And we were able to determine that the watches that were in her room did, in fact, belong to Steve Wilson.
24:43There's some watches, I guess, in your hotel room.
24:46Yeah.
24:46Who did those?
24:47Uh, they are, and here's it. Well, I mean, she, uh, who, who, who did?
24:55Uh, what?
24:59I'm going to say, Pia, are those watches having Steve's DNA on them?
25:04Huh?
25:07Huh?
25:08I'd say pretty high.
25:09Huh?
25:10I'm going to say pretty high.
25:11Uh, huh, huh, huh, huh.
25:17She still didn't первично.
25:26They're in her garter.
25:29Uh, it was five six days ago when she stopped by.
25:32She stopped by six days ago and gave you those watches?
25:36Yeah, she said she's going out of town.
25:38What do you know?
25:39she's going out of town you know i didn't ask her where she was going or anything but yeah she said
25:46she was going like she said chicago or kansas city you know she said she was going that way
25:51but i don't know which one that she stopped at obviously those were lies you gotta be patient
25:57let them tell you half truths until the half truth becomes a full truth
26:01and we just had to push her over the edge to get her to say it i know you're saying that anonymous
26:07snaps gave you the watches but it's just one more of those factors that i'm telling you that when
26:12you put it in a line of everything going on and now you have his watches like i trust that i know like
26:18i i i know i don't i don't the whole street guy i think that whole life like that's never me that's
26:25not me i'm i'm looking gayward i don't break you i don't cover for people i don't take for no one
26:34it looks to me like either you went over there with the intention to kill him or you went over
26:43there with the intention for something else to happen and went bad and he ended up dead
26:48that's what it looks like one of those two things there's something that you're not telling
26:52exactly there's definitely something we've been doing this long enough i can tell people are not
26:59telling the whole truth even full of half truths all night long i didn't say anything no i don't know
27:05i i really don't i i didn't kill him i didn't go with it you lied to us earlier you lied to us several
27:12different times and you came out earlier you said well you know what i did there earlier today i'm ready
27:19i did okay but that's a forever for you to get sad a little bit may be triggered out of you
27:27i don't i don't have a plan of murder i don't know i don't so the real truth here is that
27:35if you don't tell us what happened you're not going to see your baby
27:39the whole time in the interview it was a battle to get her to tell anything that was truthful
27:51she's given it a little bit of time eventually you have to quit with all the niceness and be stern with
27:58somebody so it'd be murder at this point because nothing can be justified and what happened and
28:07for murder you're gonna sit down on it 20 years now you understand the difference between murder
28:13right and
28:20that charge that's the only charge right now you've given us nothing
28:23that's not the case then you better start to 100 information because otherwise you sit down on
28:42the murder charge you're not going to see your kids
28:53so what do you think would happen if you get convicted of murder
29:20it's like something happened and the only way out of it and the only way to see your kids again
29:28within the next 20 years oh my god it's going to be legitimate so the truth so we can get it figured
29:34out without that there's 20 years just remorse or there's nothing and you keep talking about your
29:43your kids and that like this is your opportunity to be able to see your kids if you're not in a
29:47mass security prison somewhere far away not be locked up for 20 30 years
30:04we're getting somewhere real close now breaking her down a little bit and at that point i noticed she
30:09really starts rubbing on her wrists and her arms and one spot in particular that appeared to have been a
30:16cut so i call her out on that
30:28did he do that to you
30:35did he make that mark on your arm right or what what happened
30:40how did the arm make your arm be cut
30:46was it night time or day
31:14did he make that night i'm sorry that night that night were you by yourself or were you with
31:21you i was by myself
31:26so what happened when you got there
31:29i watched him he gave me a hug i don't know what i want to go back
31:34but i sat there on the couch well we went upstairs and i wouldn't get a dress and like he told me
31:50anybody come over here you know he sent me a hundred dollars like i said i don't do anything for a hundred dollars
31:56so like he was like sitting on his bed and he's taking his boot off and i was standing
32:01and then and then like he got mad at me i should have turned around i should have walked away but i just stood there when he yelled at me
32:18i mean you bitch and came to her like he grabbed one of his knives and he came towards me and i put my arm up
32:28and if i get that cut and i grabbed mine like out of my pocket
32:38and i i i don't know like i know but i don't know like what happened i don't like i never came at you and cut you and you pulled your
32:59i pulled my hand out and like when i pulled mine out like i i accidentally i i can't like you know not like accidentally because i was like defending myself but like like i hit him like on the side of his neck
33:11and and it's like this or like no like like my guy so like he came and i was like ah and like i
33:17turned and mine was in my hand and i went like you know like took backlash like like like
33:22out of the backhand yeah like you know like i just grabbed you know grabbed it and you know i was
33:28grabbing my arm and i was like ah you know like freaked out and i don't even know so like then
33:34i just said to him he came i was like ah it went like this way and oh my god i guess because like i
33:44did you like go towards him to get him or were you like on the way or no like i i stayed crouched down
33:50i was crouched up and protected myself like this and it was just like like closed eyes just like
33:58stabbed you know and then i like peeped and he was just like was like looking at me you know really
34:05a breeze like it just all like flashed scared you we know how steve wilson was murdered he was stabbed
34:13in the back with a violent force clearly as she acted it out it does not fit the evidence she made some
34:20backhanded stabbing motion gingerly towards him well we know that's not possible given up where the
34:26stab wounds were located on his body
34:31it was it was a freak out panic
34:33i i check them or anything no no trying to wake them up shake them no no i was just telling you
34:39it was that though i he looked like it i don't like i it's just it's like it all happened so quick
34:47i wanted to call but like i don't do you think about coming to please do you know anything
34:55when you're worried about getting in trouble
34:56when something accidental happens you're gonna stick around make sure somebody's gonna get the
35:09help they need at least i didn't believe it was self-defense those were lies to you know minimize
35:15you're involved in any kind of crime
35:17what happened after that i i left and then was i uh i left and the with the the watches he had like
35:30he had stuff like backed up like on the side or whatever i know some of my boys got on that back
35:36from like when i turned and that's why i grabbed the bag with the watches yeah it took it with the
35:43i think anything else with you i threw i threw a phone yeah with with with with the with with the
35:52with the knife where are the clothes you were wearing i threw away where at uh in a dumpster downtown
36:03did you talk to anybody else about this no it's like i i've been drinking a lot
36:13and what were you worried about for your reasons you said you were going to follow the place but then
36:20you're worried because i was a murderer i don't think that this is the life life
36:26he knows he's got her on the ropes you're so close you're so close to telling the truth
36:41it's just it's just it's like it all happened so quick i don't i don't i don't i don't
36:49i love your chest i'm sure it weighs any on you especially you said you know you kind of hit a
36:56soft spot for him because you felt sorry for him and everything like i really i really did though
37:00i believe you it's it's in my nature like compassion like i i help people that's what i
37:09what i said we're i mean we're clearing it up we're telling the church now we're on the right track
37:13there's still some inconsistencies in your story and i appreciate that you are you know you you've
37:36taken that leave okay you you're you're telling us stuff but there's some things that still don't
37:44add up okay so i want you to just backtrack to where you're up in the room and tell me exactly what
37:51happened in that room do no extra no just straight up on the street please i i i would have never
38:00heard him heard anyone unless it's defending myself i i wouldn't and he posted uh uh on one of the like
38:15interior sites you know saying i'm a robber that i stole from him and all this and all the girls are
38:21calling me and all that and i was leaving a lot of money and so like i initially went there to get
38:28him to take the post down is it still up no he took it down oh he did my concern is that you get
38:37there and you text it i'm going to kill him and then you go upstairs with teeth and he's leaning over
38:45the bed well i i initially helped him with the boot okay and then down in some way because the way the
38:51wounds are and how his hands work like this that you're obviously behind him and stabbed him right
38:57because like when i pulled out my head you know like i said like anyway based on this and the
39:04angle where he was and and sitting and how you described the situation doesn't match doesn't match
39:11the wounds it doesn't match the force necessary regenerated it seems more like you would have been
39:16maybe kneeling on the bed behind him but just just stabbed him like i i wasn't i wasn't behind him no i
39:25mean like i'm and you know like my arm he also like that's a little bit of like adrenaline rush so
39:31you're just like saying that he made that cut on your arm at this time yes that's the little story
39:37you're keeping uh yeah i get the yeah the one yeah i yeah she's making the story up the way she wants to
39:48tell the story not how it really happened we've got a confession that she stabbed him boom that's what
39:55you needed we've got enough on you we're going to take you to jail and we're going to get charges on
40:00you for homicide i had some information from page that sydney had driven her during the night that
40:23steve was murdered because sydney bias was her pimp we thought maybe had forced her to handle the
40:30situation in whatever fashion she could you know what was talking about why would any of this
40:36that's something to me because it has to do with page and you know page and they seem together quite a
40:40bit i bet so page killed the man who john service he killed the man it looked that way she said that he
40:49gave her a ride to give me a seat and then out to they went on to uh this man's house and they
40:58you weren't there but you were in the area no there's no way she couldn't say that that's what
41:05sounded like her exact words you weren't there you were in the area okay how i wasn't there but no
41:12that's what i'm asking how are you not there but i'm trying to tell you i don't know nothing about
41:16nothing man this this is what i'm going to these people i don't even know let me ask you about
41:21something you will know i think i don't because i had we had you on on the camera at the hotel
41:26and she was telling us that you guys had left that night together on march 31st in your car
41:33shortly after that she ended up at steve's house i know that actually i gotta answer that
41:37my question is were you with it or not what is this happening what hell no i don't even know
41:41i don't even know you know i don't even know this person this is what i'm doing okay i just want to
41:48be clear that you did not drive her to that man's house on march 31st no no Sidney did ultimately let
41:56me look into his phone and where his location data would have been saved and it was just inconclusive
42:01so we decided to go ahead and let him go all right man time to go there's no evidence to show that he
42:07was there or had any involvement we were able to determine she acted alone uh cool blue 100 please
42:14she took mr wilson's life and she's got to pay her time for that
42:27there's a sense of relief that confession was earned you can never bring nobody back but you can do what
42:42you can to put the person that did it in prison for as long as you can i was glad that she was caught
42:52it's hurtful when you lose someone but when it's senseless it's even worse it hurts more than just
42:59the person that has left the world steve will always have that special place in my heart regardless he's
43:05always going to be a good friend to me
