00:51But after a surprising invitation last week,
00:53there was a shakeup.
00:56Ryan Martin, looks like he shook the tires there early.

01:02and that made room for a few fresh faces.

01:10The current top eight in points will battle it out
01:12for that $10,000 and valuable points
01:15towards that individual championship.

01:44You see we have some drivers up here.
01:46These drivers are representing what we call the Great Eight.
01:49And what the Great Eight is.
01:52Basically, we take the top eight drivers
01:54from the invitational class
01:56and they are now a part of an individual championship.
02:00So they'll race for $10,000 tonight.
02:02And at the very end of the season,
02:04the person that has the most points in the Great Eight
02:06will win a $100,000 championship.
02:10Here's how it works.
02:11If you win the Great Eight, you get 10 points.
02:13Plus, you also get $10,000.
02:15If you runner-up, you get seven.
02:17And if you make it to the semifinals, you will get three.
02:21There are some new faces.
02:23I'm just going to go ahead and go through them real quick.
02:25First here to my left, Mr. Kyle Canyon.
02:28Kyle Canyon, running your first ever Great Eight.

02:50This guy went all the way to the finals last week in Virginia,
02:54Mr. Damon Merchant.
02:57And then we have Miss Lizzie Musi.
03:01And last but not least, the winner of Virginia last week,
03:05Mr. Kai Kelly.
03:07Now then, Kai.
03:11We had the Great Eight last week in Virginia.
03:13Ryan Martin won that.
03:15He has 10 points.
03:16You finish in second, right?
03:17Yep.
03:18Yeah, that happens.
03:19We've seen it before.
03:20But look, you've got seven points towards the Great Eight.
03:23Ryan Martin is not in this Great Eight tonight.
03:26So now this is your chance, man.
03:28Last week, Ryan beat Kai and won the Great Eight.
03:32But unfortunately, the following day, he lost to Robin in round one of the Invitational
03:36Race.
03:37And that knocked him out of the top eight in points.
03:40Look, that is an important note.
03:42If you want to stay in the Great Eight, you have to be ranked well in the Invitational
03:46standings.
03:47The points you earn for your team on Saturday also determine if you get to keep competing
03:52in that individual championship worth $100,000.
03:56You can't earn points if you're not in the race.
03:58All you have to do is win the first round of the Great Eight.
04:02That'll get you three points, right?
04:04Because the racers in the semifinals get three points, runner up seven, winner gets 10.
04:07So all you have to do is get past the first round and you're tied with Ryan.
04:11Now, if you win, oh my gosh, you've put so much space on Ryan.
04:15He's in your rearview mirror.

05:56Which means the fourth and final pair will be Giuseppe versus Lizzie Musi.

06:11I think her record going back when she first, I remember season three when she came out,
06:15we were doing good, and she took us out.
06:17So, I don't think I've ever beat Lizzie in an elimination round.

11:04about it is they don't have lights so it's a lot of daytime racing so that puts a lot of stress on
11:08our tuners because uh as a driver it's the same thing where it's day or night oh that's loose
11:14the bolts are gone out of it man they're broke all that broke off what this top one's broke off
11:19oh out of that damn vacuum pump itself so if you can't fix that man it's all right i'll just uh
11:28take the bye okay the grade eight is individual and once we go up here tonight this is for the
11:33hundred thousand dollars of individual championship and kai's already got seven points from being
11:38runner-up last week i'll be trying to run off i'm here for you man i'll give you my shoulder to crown
11:43at the big end too so i'm gonna go up here and put it on kai try to get the win tonight get my 10 points
