00:00In a surprising announcement on social media on November 6th, former House Speaker Nancy
00:05Pelosi said she plans to retire at the end of her current term, ending a four-decade
00:10career in the lower chamber.
00:12The first woman to wield the Speaker's gavel and President Trump have shared an infamously
00:16contentious relationship over the years.
00:19Even in the past few weeks, the two politicos are still trading jabs.
00:23On November 3rd, Pelosi called Trump a vile creature on CNN.
00:27He's just a vile creature.
00:30The worst thing on the face of the earth, but anyway.
00:33You think he's the worst thing on the face of the earth?
00:35I do, yeah.
00:36And Trump responded to Pelosi's retirement announcement with utter delight.
00:40He tells me the following, and this is a quote.
00:43The retirement of Nancy Pelosi is a great thing for America.
00:46She was evil, corrupt, and only focused on bad things for our country.
00:52She was rapidly losing control of her party, and it was never coming back.
00:56I'm very honored she impeached me twice and failed miserably twice.
01:00Nancy Pelosi is a highly overrated politician.
01:04Here's a look back at the pair's top six nastiest moments.
01:08Number one, public tensions in the Oval Office.
01:11As the government headed towards a shutdown in President Trump's first term, a tense bipartisan
01:16meeting with President Trump, then-Vice President Mike Pence, Pelosi, and Senator Chuck Schumer devolved
01:22into a shouting match, with the House Minority Leader pressing Trump to keep the government
01:26open.
01:27If I needed the votes for the wall in the House, I would have them in one session.
01:31It would be done.
01:32Go do it.
01:33It doesn't help because we need 10 Democrats in the Senate.
01:35No, don't put it on the Senate.
01:36Of course.
01:37Put it on the negotiations.
01:38Okay, let me ask you this.
01:39And we're doing this in a very friendly manner.
01:41It doesn't help for me to take a vote in the House where I will win easily with the Republicans.
01:46It doesn't help to take that vote because I'm not going to get the vote of the Senate.
01:51I need 10 senators.
01:53That's the problem.
01:54We have to have a wall as part of border security.
01:57And I don't think we really disagree so much.
01:59I also know that, you know, Nancy is in a situation where it's not easy for her to talk
02:04right now.
02:05And I understand that.
02:06And I fully understand that.
02:07We're going to have a good discussion and we're going to see what happens.
02:10But we have to have border security.
02:12Mr. President, please don't characterize the strength that I bring to this meeting as
02:17the leader of the House Democrats, who just won a big victory.
02:21Elections have consequences, Mr. President.
02:23Then he just said...
02:24And that's why the country is doing so well.
02:26Number two, clapping for Trump.
02:28In what became a viral and memefied moment on social media during Trump's State of the
02:33Union speech in 2019, then House Speaker Pelosi smirked, outstretched her arms, and clapped
02:39at Trump after the president called to stop the politics of revenge and embrace cooperation.
02:47Trump's 2020 State of the Union address also concocted a viral moment that spread like
03:01wildfire across social media.
03:03After the president refused to shake then House Speaker Pelosi's hand at the beginning
03:07of his one hour and 18 minute speech to Congress, Pelosi ripped up a copy of Trump's address
03:12as he ended his speech.
03:14Number four, punch him out.
03:21During the January 6 Stop the Steal rally, Pelosi was captured in footage taken by her
03:26daughter, documentary filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, saying she wanted to punch the president if
03:31he showed his face on Capitol Hill.
03:33I'm going to punch him out.
03:34This is my mom.
03:35I'm waiting for this, for trespassing on the Capitol grounds.
03:40I'm going to punch him out and I'm going to go to jail and I'm going to be happy.
03:44Number six, Trump pokes fun at Pelosi's husband.
03:47A little more than a year after Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, was attacked inside the
03:52couple's San Francisco home, Trump poked fun at the bludgeoning during a rally in California.
03:56And we'll stand up to crazy Nancy Pelosi who ruined San Francisco.
04:03How's her husband doing, by the way?
04:07Anybody know?
04:09And she's against building a wall at our border even though she has a wall around her house,
04:18which obviously didn't do a very good job.
04:23And number six, Trump mouths a word starting with B. During his final campaign rally in
04:28Grand Rapids, Michigan, before the 2024 presidential election, Trump went all in on Pelosi, calling
04:35her evil, sick, crazy, before mouthing another word that he said started with the letter B.
04:41She's a crooked person.
04:42She's a bad person.
04:43Evil.
04:44She's an evil, sick, crazy.
04:47Bam.
04:48Oh, no.
04:54It starts with a B, but I won't say it.
04:57I want to say it.
