00:00We've just had the first major elections, I think it's fair to say, since President Trump returned to office nine months or so ago.
00:07The Democrats won New York and two key state governor races.
00:11Are there some alarm bells ringing, do you think, at the GOP headquarters?
00:17Yeah, Tom, that's a great question. I don't think there are alarm bells.
00:20There weren't any real big surprises yesterday.
00:23I mean, if anything, one of the down ticket races, the attorney general race in Virginia, you know, somewhat surprised me.
00:29But but generally speaking, you know, it was blue state victories, both in Virginia and New Jersey, which are blue states that, you know, both Trump, President Trump did not win either one of those states, nor has a Republican in a generation.
00:43And then, of course, in New York City, which is a completely Democratic state.
00:47So so I think our Democratic city, sorry.
00:50And I think, you know, we're we're disappointed, that's for sure, because I was hoping for a surprise, especially in New Jersey, where the polls were a little tighter than expected.
01:00But but they're, you know, again, all of the favorites won.
01:03So there's no shock. And that's why I don't think there's a panic in Republican headquarters.
01:08But I do think we have to make sure we align our message and make sure that we're ready for the midterms next year.
