The Auburn Tigers offense still couldn't muster anything despite switching quarterbacks.
Transcript
00:00Certainly hasn't been the year that any of us expected.
00:04And tonight, again, our kids laid it on the line for us,
00:10especially defensively in effort, and got us a couple turnovers.
00:14And we struggled a little on third down, that was about the only thing,
00:18and allowed them to keep the ball the entire third quarter.
00:21But offensively, it's just there are zero excuses of how poorly we're
00:29playing at times, and we really struggled to protect tonight.
00:35They did a really nice job.
00:36You have to give them some credit, but we have struggled offensively,
00:43and that is unacceptable, the way we're playing.
00:47It either, you know, again, I'll probably need to watch the film.
00:52I could be wrong on this, but it sure seemed like from the clips I saw the times
00:57we had, we've got to turn it loose.
01:00And most of the time, there wasn't enough time for him to feel comfortable to turn
01:05it loose.
01:07Now, they played a ton of quarters coverage or cloud coverage,
01:11where they were protecting the roof pretty well.
01:14And we've been able to run the ball effectively against that all year.
01:19And we're doing that, truthfully, the last possession of the first half,
01:24and the only possession we had in the third quarter.
01:29But then you get, you know, to where the time is running down,
01:33and you don't feel comfortable just taking a chance of running it all the time.
01:38And we got in those cases, and we just never could protect against their twist games.
01:43But here.
01:47Thank you, sir.
01:48Thank you, sir.
01:52Thank you, sir.
01:55You are right.
