Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze is asked if quarterback Jackson Arnold is afraid to take chances, leading to sacks instead of plays downfield or interceptions.

00:00You know, we've talked about that because, you know, he's done an incredible job of taking care of the football.
00:06And truthfully, when we watch the film together, I'd love him to be a little freer, particularly with the playmakers that we have.
00:15And, you know, there's times I think he probably would be if we could hold up just maybe another half a second or a second.
00:25But, yeah, you want him to take care of the football for sure.
00:30First and foremost, and him doing that as poorly as we played still kept us in a game and gave us a chance to win.
00:37So there's a lot of positives from that, but certainly don't want him to play out of any fear.
00:42And hopefully our meetings throughout last week and through the game planning for this week, maybe he'll be a little more freer to to give our kids a chance.
00:54A mixture mixture to be to be candid.
00:57If you're if you're talking skelly, free as can be, you're talking the other, you know, it's pretty much mirrors the game when we're going against good on good.
01:10First progression, second progression is pretty good.
01:15And then then he becomes a little hesitant, maybe.
01:18But we're working through that, believe in him strongly still.
01:22And I've got to do a better job, along with Kenton and Jesse and them, of coaching him to be freer.
01:28And when our guys are in some one on ones, give them a chance with catchable balls.
01:32Thanks.
01:36Thanks.
